disagree with me when I posted that on X uh the trth remains for me I don't think he wanted he was he was serious about joining Chelsea I think he and his gent or maybe his aent given the fact that his fire him wanted them to use a Chelsea uh to get more money from a better deal from the Saudis and it backfired spectacularly as I see it uh that's because the Saudis if it wasn't if it was that serious about joining Chelsea uh I don't think he should have gone to the extent of letting the Saudis know what he wants on the deal if he didn't want them he'd tell them uh I don't want to go to Saudi I want to go to Chelsea Football Club just like de bronia who shut down the rumors of him going to Saudi Arabia there are other players who did the same thing so in this case he didn't say he didn't want to go to Saudi uh he said nothing about his preference being U um joining uh being Chelsea Football Club uh what we heard at the time were all just uh unsub unsubstantiate I can't pronounce that all unsubstantiated rumors at the time that his preference uh would be to join Chelsea Football Club but there's no way to confirm if that's the true or not my opinion Still Remains some at the age of 17 and we did add the S CLA that doesn't mean that's it for his career he gets to play we and we out develops and if chances that would go back and say we want him back in Europe we want him to come represent Chelsea but people will start name calling the directors of the Chelsea over saying what there's nothing wrong there the kid is going to play in Saudi Arabia a league that's been a lot of good players have joined the league um some of the biggest names in war football have joined the league and they're starting to look at young players some of the upand cominging young talents they've also joined the league and the kid is joining at the age of 17 he's a good player gets to earn a lot of money probably will be earning a lot better than some of the Premier League Sports as the news unfolded um and I think there like five hours behind so the transfer window it was like 5:00 in or 6:00 in Jamaica when it finally when everything finally sort of ended concluded um the Victor sh men deal I don't know because if you look at the history behind his wages he only got that wage rise because you know D D lentes he's he's one of the uh ruthless operators in football and he got that deal because they just remember he only had a couple of years left on his contract before he extended and and the plan was for him just to stay for a year before moving on and that's why cuz it was Napoli couldn't afford to keep him on the wages that they had him on for more than the season so delus wanting top dollar for him I think it was 150 million for the release Clause um he thought that people were going to come in and and buy him but obviously there wasn't many suitors um p G didn't want to to to pay the money and the Premier League there not as much money in the Premier League as there has been in in recent years so gone out the days when play when teams are going to be spending over 100 million on players just because of the PSR rules Etc so um he found himself in a bit of a hole really so apparently with the Sai deal you were half right um Cil what you're saying um did did lentes did want a bigger deal out of it that's why that deal fell through because what happened is when they found out how much brenford were getting for Ivan Tony I heard that dent said you know what if brenford are getting that much for Tony then I'm going to be looking for more money so he tries to squeeze more money out of them he changed the sort of terms of the deal last minute and so that's when the Sal said you know what no we we're going to pull out and so you know obviously Chelsea thought they were in a good position to buy him so when Oshman saying that he wanted the money that he was on it was an inflated wage for a season really so which okay he's he's he is on those wages but it was inflated just because that that's the only way they can get him to sign that that new contract um if you if obviously Chelsea try and be a bit more smarter with the wages but I don't know what the deal or the offer was orig know cuz we are hearing all sorts of figures about what the offer was but if it was like Heavenly incentives I did a video on this recently and I said what we should I'm not sure if it offered them a base salary but um with heavy bonuses depending on their for instance if he scored 20 goals in the season or if he can get us into the top four added more bonuses etc etc if it was something like that and he had belief in his ability then I feel that he should have taken it and what's funny is that he said he all his agent said he didn't want a loan and then what what happens he ends up going on loan to um Galatasaray yeah I don't think yeah and I don't think he's getting from what I'm I don't know there different reports but one of the reports said he's getting 2 million pounds a year less than what he is getting for Napoli I don't know whether that's true or not so we ended up going to a lesser League now for you know for for less money Pro arguably um so he was you know I know his sa is agent now so I think his agent he's been badly that's that's telling probably I mean that's for me suggest uh he's blaming his legend for not uh you can say ensuring the one of the options he ended up at either Ali Al Ali or chela go ahead sorry for cutting you off Max no that's fine that's fine yeah yeah yeah but my other concern as well is not okay you within your rights to try and get your best contract cuz football is a career you don't how long you're going to be in the game for you could you know a career threatening injury and you're gone so you got to look after your family as well so um but with him as well I think the reason why we probably went for a wanted a loone with an obligation or even an option my concern about him would have been his injury record because look at his the last few seasons he's had he hasn't finished a season he's only played a quarter of the season for the last two or three years and this is when you look at he plays in Italy when you look at pesich for instance or lost's cheek look how they are no longer getting injured now playing in um La Liga you know they were injured every other week as at Chelsea so this guy he's getting injured a lot playing in La Liga so when you come to the hustle and bustle of the Premier League which is a lot more physical and faster is he going to be robust enough to be able to um to to withstand the the riggers of the Premier League and that's that was my other concern about him that's why I feel that the club wanted to take him on a season long loan to see how he gets on we don't what we don't want is another we know we got Reese James and people like that who have injury prone already we don't want to be investing a lot of money on somebody who may be becoming Reese Reese James's partner on the um in the injury um room so that's probably why I think we were kind of um cautious in in doing the deal which is you know the club is as the right to do so so that's my thoughts on the the A and I don't think he was ever a priority Target for us because if we're serious about signing him I think we get it over the line and give him a salary that he wouldn't resist in my opinion and and let me ask you this ma Max why weren there weren't so many Club clubs interested in signing o there weren't really there wasn't no no but as again I said I think the injuries are a bit of a concern for for people cuz like it's not as if it's one season he's injured he's been if you look at his record as I said apart from That season where he where they won the sceta where he scored those 34 goals I think the seasons before and after that have been sort of littered with injuries and um so that's probably why people don't want to and and no one's going to be paying 150 million for him and let's be honest now the landscape has changed as I said financially So Gone on the days of these big transfers especially in the Premier League yeah know with PSR and everything else so if you look at the biggest transfer done in the Premier League was was it 65 million um for Tottenham um Tottenham played for um San think nobody paid over that this this this this season so that's what we need to really you know look at as well so we're not going to be we're not going to be the Italians have been taking us for mugs lately on the especially like Lukaku and things like that the amount of money we paid paid them for for him so I don't think you know people have got to be more realistic now they can't use the Premier League as a like they used to back in the day yeah yeah times have changed honestly times have changed and uh uh JC saying Max it's generally the the good players uh who are who are fouled uh the most who are fou the most okay uh there's an argument that Ruben L is not getting so much hot tackles but players like neyar got heat even in in France uh can Victor be the same case so that's a question for you Max um quite possibly quite possibly um but again I need to do a bit more research I know the Kola chel does a lot of research on players um he may be able to answer this question about asheran is injuries are they being more impact injuries or muscular injuries so I need to have look into that to see whether if it's if it's impact injuries then we've got a there's a case for that argument yeah but if in in the case I think he had one impact injury the one that led to him uh when you say like the one he had he had led to him again wearing a uh F mask is that the one you're referencing yeah the one with the face mask which is obviously impact injury but I I need to check his other injuries whether they're like hamstrings or other injuries because the if it's if it's muscular injuries then that's a cause of concern cuz you seen that with like the lights of re James where his hamstrings always failing him and yeah he's had other injuries too but I think you could I wouldn't go to the extent of saying he's injury prone but H yeah he's had a lot of injuries of late um most of them changed the same season uh but that's by the way I I never thought he can he at any time wanted to CH join cheekbone that was the impact one 54 days cast strain 7 Days head injury 11 days again that was an impact one another one for Corona virus and one for shoulder injury again that's an impact one for 62 days so out of those you've got 1 2 3 4 five 6 7 eight eight muscular type injuries he's had and so that one is repeating yeah so the hamstring ones again 42 days out once and 32 days out for another injuries in he one after the other and I was really worried after that but he seems to be a tough lad he's come back I'm just my only concern is that in the Brazilian League they their games come thick and fast so he's I think he's one day he was playing on a Thursday the next day he was playing on a Sunday and then I think they played about three or four games in in a twoe period and for someone so young because he's obviously their Talisman he they are playing him a lot so I'm hoping that when he does come to Chelsea that we um use him in the right way rather than overusing him but we we bed him in gently um he was the reason he joined Chelsea Over the Bar lers and people apparently is because we guaranteed that he'll be straight into the first team he's not going out on loan or anything else we believe in him so much that much that he's going to be straight into the first team um and you know I just feel that we if we can just as I said just bed him in gently he's still a young lad don't want to put too much pressure on him neither yes at that age and you know we've got the squad like we've got um right wing as you can play there so I just feel that in the first season 15 20 games maybe for him in that first season before see how he gets on before sort of unleashing him the season after so I think we should just trate yeah I agree with you thank you so much Max uh like our fan base are still complaining and I saw the Enzo marasa out Trend so what are your thoughts about the game you played on Sunday listen I just people I can understand people's frustration after two seasons of of not winning something but we got to be realistic here you know the first half I thought we were magnificent in that game we nullified Crystal Palace and I think tactically we we we we've played a really really good game the goal we scored was a great breakaway goal but again it's it's the Same Old Situation as as last season where our finishing cost us and we should really have scored a two or three before patties even had a chance but sometimes we got a list we got there are games like that their goalkeepers outstanding first of all he made some brilliant saves um and you know no matter who you are you know You' I've seen City in a s situations like that before where a goalkeeper just when the goalkeeper is a man of the match then you got to say you know what hands um hats off to him he's he's he's done well um the other thing for me was the the the referee in decision not to send off Will Hughes cost us because that was how he didn't send him off and you know I don't like talking about because we still got to do do what we need to do I don't like talking about referees but we have to address the situation because even before that situ that cada for Chris he did about four fouls anded and in the first foul we did he took out a yellow card we got a yellow card yeah exactly yeah and I'm thinking that's ridiculous you know because and as I said that guy it was Co um Cole Palmer was was through okay they had a couple of Defenders but with Cole Palmer oneon-one with another Defender anything can happen or he could have got a shot away this guy has Tak taking him down in the dangerous area it's a yellow card and he doesn't get he doesn't get um red carded for that um and what but what need what we need to do okay sometimes decisions don't go our way but what I saw was that the heads dropped after that decision which it shouldn't but but that's why I I I did call for a bit more experience in the side um because we have got we had nobody to Galvanize the team when when as soon as pis scored heads dropped and you got sort of no experienced heads to try and lift them because they're still the young side as I said so you're still going to be getting a few mistakes and things so we started to force the play a bit more pis were able to get into their shape after they scored the goal and we were you know we were getting frustrated by by their shape and I think what helped padis as well was substituting will hes actually because when dor came a lot more solid with um yeah with wton and the Midfield that made him a lot more a better side and but um again we had a couple of chances to to to kill the game off uh Nicholas Jackson had that one-on-one situation we had just the um P the uh what's his name ja fedix won great turn but poor shot at the end of it um so we still should have won the game you know but it the signs are good I think the signs are good because we didn't play poorly defensively we were great um for Farner and and um cwell are starting to form a good partnership now the the goal was just a superb goal I see some people blaming Moresco for the defense fantastic goal yeah so sometimes you got to put your hat it justes take your hats off and say you know well well done to a great strike by by e but I thought we defended well apart from that and I think there was a shot by that Comm which our goalkeeper saved apart from that they didn't really have I don't think our goalkeeper had another save to make apart from that one from kamado and I think so we defended our Penalty Box quite well but you you know what I like about that game as as much as I remember I've listened to l City players I mean fans saying that an maresa is not productive he doesn't like to make el but during that game the first player was J fix other player was m m after MRI clearly wanted to win that game and we couldn't win that game so all this no about en is not proactive it takes long to to make sub nonsense still wanted to win game yeah the only thing I would have said is I'd have put anduku on a little bit earlier that's the only thing I would have done is put him on earlier because I think that he's he can you know he can score score a goal he's one of our better finishers although he hasn't started the season fantastically well but he's he's always somebody who's going to be a danger when he's on so I would have probably done that but apart from that that's how I've been saying that for example I don't mind Nicholas Jackson being a striker but at the same time my main issue is that he doesn't have a competition Magi we know is a good player but he not good enough to start games so that's why sometimes we have to rely a lot on N T for example that Miss Miss I know it's a fantastic sa but if we had experienced strike like Dr for example should have scored that goal and it was a winning goal everyone would be happy yeah you know what that's what I'm saying if if if we had someone like a harand in this team then we would we would have won all three games if Harland was when we played against Man City if Harland was playing for Chelsea instead of City then Chelsea win that game you know that's what we're lacking we're lacking somebody who's in the big moments is going to score the goal CU you know one chance for hard Ender against us the other day one goal you know and he you know he made it look easy but would somebody like a Nicholas Jackson scored in the same position as he was against us I don't know yeah so that's the only disappointing thing for me in the four or five windows that this new ownership have had that they haven't invested in a in a top class Striker and know I do like n Jackson but as you said in the big moments when we need him he he doesn't really show up even that game against City if he had held his line you know when you know when he scored that offside goal he shouldn't have been offside in that situation he's got to be looking across the line he's got to be keeping himself on side in that game so yeah I saying so even there's little margins even that City game I thought had we got that back to 1-1 at in that in at that time then we would have got result against City that day so I don't think we're outplayed against City I agree with you I I don't think we we we outplayed any look at for example the game you played against wolves in the second half he shows that when you're clinical you're going to win games and during that game we had lesser HG but we were clinical that's the perfect scenario but I guess K in that game and although we did play badly again it was down to poor finishing while we didn't get how many chances did he get that game wow so many chances yeah and the pitch as well because if you look at the Cole Palmer one that hit the crossbar it bobbled just before he he hit the the shot otherwise that that one going in so and we got through the all we have to do is get through and that's what I don't care that we lost I don't know why people are getting so so annoyed that we lost that game we we know we won the tie we lost a game but we won the tie it's all about getting it done Heat of the the Stanford Bridge obviously you got the Stanford Bridge cauldron so is this is it and there's no water breakes remember in the world in the Euros you had water breakes where you can have that little time get that you know in your legs have that little two three minutes to recover so we didn't we don't have that in the Prem which I think they should introduce especially in August when it's hot I think they should introduce a like like a water break for the players cuz they're human at the end of the day and you don't want to run them to the into the ground you got to think of players welfare as well so yeah I think that's something they got to think about for for next season defin yeah I agree with you I agree with you but a good thing also about us having a bigger Squad now is that we can manage players game time for instance if last season Lavia r probably played through his his like hamstring injury what he had and just made it worse and if you look at the way we're managing um Netto know he didn't come on to serve it he just played a half against Palace because we know about his injury record as well so we know that we need to manage him properly um with also magek gets quite a lot of injuries so a lot of people are saying that we probably didn't need Jaden Sancho then remember muu is you know we can manage his game time as well and so we don't give him too much overload he's playing he's going he's gone out on International duty this week whereas jayen Sanchez stayed at Chelsea so maybe we'll see jayen Sanchez starting against Bournemouth M coming on you know so that's another option so it's it's good to have to have that you know have a bigger Squad now with quality players two quality players in each position yeah I agree with you and don't want him to be in too comfortable in that position we that's why what Drive if you want is that you got competition behind you so if you don't perform then there's somebody breathing down your
