Zuckerberg man I think I think he's a snake I think he's just doing what he needs to do to preserve himself and pres same with all of Silicon Valley but it's like it's fascinating though because it's like the whole uh the whole establishment all the corporations all the media all of big business whatever they're all rallying around Cala you know they are a huge degree of them right but it's like is the Zuckerberg thing here is this new or yeah it came out like a day or two ago we going pull it up here um I'll read some of the letter did you have commentary before I read the letter well I was just saying it's it's interesting how we're starting to see Silicon Valley it seems like not get on board with the Cala agenda there seems to be a rift going on there you know I don't know if it's too much to read into that just from Elon Musk and Zuckerberg and Peter te and whatever but yeah cuz they doubled back once Trump almost got shot like a lot of people came out to support Trump and then right before Trump got shot I think he had a meeting or he did a podcast out in Silicone Valley with all these people all these Tech guys and then obviously JD Vance was a big part of reason reason why P JD Vance despite the fact that he's heavily unliked is because of his uh links to to Tech well also I think I think that a lot of these um these Tech agencies don't really realize or understand that this is a massive favor system which happens uh in Washington and Zuckerberg's expecting of course that he's going to get some kind of scratch in the back if he's going to be censoring on behalf of an Administration scrubbing information things like this so when he comes with his hand out and says okay now it's my turn what are you going to do for me and they say nothing go [ __ ] yourself I'm certain that that upsets these guys right they don't understand that that's part of the game um and they thought that they were going to get something and it turns out they don't get anything at all and sorry go oh yeah no I just want to clarify you know it's it's I'm not trying to make these Silicon Valley guys out to be like some kind of anti- me you alluded earlier their ties to the hardcore Zionist but they also have ties to elements in the dod like the real hardcore hardcore deep state right but there's elements in deep state that are people forget that but there they're so revolves around them and this is very typical of a lot of billionaires that I've noticed when whenever I watch their interviews it's like they they don't have a touch with reality because they've been Rich for so godamn I think they don't care about us as a people they just care about their agenda and as as a result of that they kind of plan towards what they want done at all times and also another thing with these people is they care about influence more than anything they don't care necessarily about money anymore they care a lot about influence and turning they want Power it's it's data data matters more more than anything the ultimate type of markon have all the data because with their database bro they could get anyone in the world almost there's also a great disconnect which happens I think when you can just raise your hand and get whatever you want and it doesn't matter what it is you want a jumbo jet you can just have it if you want a yacht you can just have it if you want an island you can just have it just have it you disconnect from objective reality and you stop uh you start to uh forget how the world works you no longer are a part of the world the rest of us live in teams for months to censor certain covid-19 content including humor and satire and expressed a lot of frustration with our teams when we didn't agree ultimately it was our decision whether or not to take content down and we owned now our decisions including covid-19 related changes we made to our uh enforcement in the wake of this pressure I believe the government pressure was wrong and I regret that we were not more outspoken about it I also think we made some choices that with the benefit of hindsight and new information we couldn't make today like I said in our to our teams at the time I feel strongly that we should not compromise our content standards due to pressure from the any Administration in either direction and we're ready to push back if something like this happens again okay so you post that when it matters nice job Mark in a separate situation the FBI warned us about a potential Russian disinformation operation about the Biden family and barisma in the leadup of the 2020 election that fall when we saw a New York uh post story reporting on corruption allegations involving the then Democratic Presidential nominee Joe Biden's family we sent that story to fact Checkers to review the tempor arily demoted uh and temporarily demoted it while waiting for a reply it's since been made clear that the reporting was not Russian disinformation and in retrospect we shouldn't have demoted the story we've changed our policies and processes to make sure this doesn't happen again for instance we no longer temporarily demote things in the US while waiting for fact Checkers wow we're sorry we [ __ ] up we're we [ __ ] up we're sorry sorry about that when this critical information was out there we said that this is part of a Russian disin campaign and it never was and they prolonged the process perfect timing unbelievable apart from content moderation I want to address the contributions I made during the last presidential cycle to support electoral infrastructure the idea here was to make sure local election jurisdictions across the country had the resources they needed to help people vote safely during the global pandemic I made these contributions through the Chan Zuckerberg initiative that's his wife if I'm not mistaken right that he built a statue of like a s they were designed to be nonpartisan spread across Urban Rural and Suburban communities still despite the analysis I've been showing otherwise I know that some people believe this work benefited one partly over the other my goal is to be neutral and not play a role one way or another or even appear to be playing a role so I don't plan on making a similar contribution this cycle respectfully Mark Zuckerberg that's really funny let to get you guys take it's really funny first first and foremost is moving back to the idea of the Russia gate that was always one of the weakest narratives that the Democrats ever had and they really had a hard time selling it uh it was built on the the faest foundation ever they could never really present any proof to the American public of any of this ever happening they just kind of had these really weak allegations which initially Clinton was just using as a talking point against Trump I don't think that they ever had intended to try to build an entire impeachment off of that which is what they ended up doing but it's wild to me um that at the time that Zuckerberg as all of these uh stories are coming through Facebook is saying it's rustan disinformation you were seeing it on Twitter this was yeah false news fake news you're seeing it everywhere um and it turns out and I think we're going to we're going to see a lot more of this uh kind of press release of well gee guys you you know we're sorry you should still trust us even though we [ __ ] you and told you a narrative which was completely false that the government insisted we tell you right how are you going to trust a company like that again so there's a club called The Meta club and a bunch of programs for example X Instagram all these platforms have a club yep in the club they have rules that they have set for each person that goes into the club it could be for example no shoes allowed only white t-shirts you can't say XYZ and as a result these platforms have power because they control each user in the platform and the clubh which means by default whatever they set as the perfect agenda for people to follow have to follow you have to follow but if you don't follow it you're either can or delet off the platform and another example of them censoring real information because they were pressured by the government to do so which means fake news all over so one thing I find interesting is that you know in in the postwar period the all of the press uh the the mainstream press in the United States and especially with the rise of cable television and whatever it was all really controlled by the government or we should rather say the Deep State you know it was in coordination with the CIA that made sure that the news cycle did never disalignment or whatever right so there was always a kind of understanding at that level that the media people are consuming the information people are consuming and is spreading is compatible and aligned with the agenda yeah you're talking about the Synergy a synergistic relationship here um Zuckerberg is saying we want Facebook to actually be dependent you know we don't want to be involved we don't we were going to take precautions within our company so that we don't have to directly listen to the government or whatever and if it happens again if it happens again right but I I I I'm I'm kind of torn in terms of whether I should just be cynical and say okay he's trying to deceive people I'm not sure um I'm not sure if that's because he understands Facebook is a lot of it's used by older people and it's used by a lot of the people who might lean more conservative or is there really a rift that we're seeing between the traditional kind of you know um State machine that was built after the Cold War and these kinds of new forms of uh technology and uh information uh information technology that were built by the kind of military deep state is there is that Rift actually happening well I think there there there could even be a simpler explanation than kind of this Dynamic power struggle it could really just be that the government is uh costing these companies a lot of resources with their L inquiries and they're kind of Cloak and Dagger [ __ ] and so as Zuckerberg points out here we allocated all these resources to this we had various people working on this it cost us a lot of money what the [ __ ] are we getting here out of this and it could just be as simple as we want to create some distance between ourselves and the government because it just costs us a lot of money to deal with the endless paperwork and inquiries and nonsense uh that they're asking us to do it may not even be as complex as we're trying to dis ourself from these political administrations uh based on some value structure it could just be purely profit motive in definitely 100% And you know it's it's it's clear I mean we've seen it I mean I don't know if it's a show again how conspir would you want to be but it's like we saw got something to say after you guys we're going to have to S the rumble though when I say what I'm going to say but I got something definitely say after this we saw Zuckerberg you know and his hearings in Washington and that that he was like a space alien I mean aside from the fact that he's just like extremely awkward and autistic whatever reptile yeah he was just like uh he was coming from a completely different kind of milu than the traditional government the traditional power structure and I I I think that there's something there's something to investigate as far as like has Silicon Valley prepared us for a new type a new structure of statehood a new machine of statehood is you know and is that necessarily going to be a good thing you know that's what we have to ask because although it's opposed to the Democrats and all it's opposed to cala and so on and so on do they have something lined up for us that might be you know even potentially worse doesn't this lean into the kind of torba idea of the par what he calls the parallel economy and with a parallel economy is going to come a parallel government right so if if what's going on is this alternative these Alternative forms of media are beginning to gain independence and they have their own platforms for streaming they have their own ways to collect monies and revenue and they have their own products that they're selling that is a parallel economy there's no doubt that that's a parallel economy wouldn't that necessarily have some governance around I think it would it's definitely it's a new niche of political power and state power and sovereignty it's it's a it's an unmarked territory of sovereignty and you know the digital sovereignty we'll call it maybe yeah but and the traditional form of State sovereignty has not really been able to assimilate it you know so well it doesn't it doesn't have the the mechanisms yet that it hasn't caught up with the technology right that's exactly it yeah yeah at least not yet not yet it will it will eventually yeah it will well it it I think it already has in a sense of the deep State this is coming from ultimately the military from a long time ago but the traditional form of sovereignty Congress and you know the Senate and all this you know all these other kind of superficial bureaucracies uh to what extent is it going to have to be totally kind of um swept up to to accommodate and adjust to it well they want full control so at some point everything's going to be controlled what you could post what you can say what you can't say and then either you end up in the goog or you shut off mhm so well and also well we'll get to that
