hello Dodgers fans today we have an important update on one of our greatest heroes Clayton Kershaw he is facing a challenge with an injury but seems to be quite optimistic about his recovery time before I tell you everything that is happening take the opportunity to like subscribe to the channel and activate the Bell so you don't miss any news about the Dodgers Clayton Kershaw is going through a difficult time in this final stretch of the Season even so he has been doing his best to stay in shape while dealing with a nagging injury to the big toe of his left foot with October quickly approaching and the playoffs just around the corner the team is counting on his recovery so they can count on his presence on the field for the most decisive moments of the year in a recent interview with journalist Jack Harris from the Los Angeles Times Kershaw admitted that the situation has been quite frustrating it's more than frustrating he said because I really feel my body feels great shoulder back Everything feels really good it's just that last little bit unlike some Seasons past the Dodgers pitcher is feeling good overall this time around his back which has been a sore thumb is responding well and his shoulder which underwent surgery last offseason is recovering for a 36-year-old with more than 2,700 Innings pitched in his career having his arm in tiptop shape is certainly a relief what's keeping him from being 100% is a bone spur in his left big toe which has been hampering his movement with just 3 weeks left in the regular season Kershaw remains optimistic about his return I think I can do it he told reporters when asked if he's confident he'll be back before the end of the regular season I don't want to put a percentage on it but I feel like I mean it's been 8 days since the injury there's been a lot of progress in the last 8 days so I feel like I have a finite window that I need to at least throw bullpens if I keep going I think I'll be fine but I can't afford to have any delays since his last appearance on August 30th Kershaw has been experimenting with different ways to keep his arm moving he's been doing sessions on flat ground wearing sneakers and even a walking boot testing different foot angles to reduce discomfort during his delivery last Monday he went a step further and tried throwing from a portable ramp in the Outfield wearing only a sock on his left foot to avoid any extra pressure on his big toe I'm just trying everything I can to take the pressure off of it to keep my arm functioning as well as possible so when I feel 100% I won't need as much reh time Kershaw explained throwing off the mound off that grass Mound was a little bit better today so I feel like I'm doing enough to keep my arm functioning it's not there yet to be able to push for a full game but it's getting better so what do you think about this Clayton Kershaw situation do you think he'll be able to return 100% in time for the playoffs leave your opinion in the comments
