football season is in the air today marks 7 days away from the Arizona Cardinals taking on the Buffalo Bills and there's some reasons to believe why this might be one of the most exciting games in week one today we're going to be previewing Bills versus Cardinals week one let's get [Music] started what's going on everybody welcome back into another video definitely do me a huge favor smack up versus the Arizona Cardinals week one matchup and there's definitely some reasons to believe as to why this might be one of the most exciting games when it comes down to week one now it might be because I'm a fan of the Arizona Cardinals and I really truly believe in what this offense can do and I know there's some Buffalo Bills fans out there that were really licking their chops at the idea that the Cardinals were going to be starting week one against the Buffalo Bills but I'm going to go ahead and have you hold your horses right there because I believe that the Arizona Cardinals are actually going to be a much better team heading into 2024 you know as opposed to in 2023 now this is going to be a big question out there right are the cardinal is going to be able to compete with a Josh Allen Le offense that's remained to be seen because right now one of the most unknown groups for the Arizona Cardinals is going to be none other than their defense they got a lot of young talented players on the defensive side of the ball especially in the cornerback group a lot of young talent but a lot of unknown now we do not have a great pass rush or there's a lot of unknown when it comes down to our defensive line but we have upgraded from 2023 to 2024 adding players like Justin Jones and balal Nichols now they are not pressure pressure guys they are going to be guys that's going to be able to stop the run now we did take some huge blows with BJ oari going down he was set to be our Edge player number one now with him going down and then our second first round pick and Darius Robinson now finding himself on IR there's just a lot of unknown when it comes down to our defensive line as well as our cornerback group although there is a lot of hope that this team can be very very good I think a lot more people are more confident with the offense and what they can actually you know muster against a Buffalo Bills defense now I know there's a lot of Buffalo Bills fans that are not giving Cardinal fans or the Cardinals any chance to win this game but let me try to see if I can go ahead and try to change your mind here right the Cardinals did add a lot of players on the offensive side of the ball we're Shing up our offensive line now they're probably not top 10 but definitely a very solid offensive line our offense is completely different than when the last time we ended up seeing the Buffalo Bills when the when Kyler Murray had that hell Murray uh throw over to deand Hopkins that's not the same type of offense the Cardinals are going to be running we're going to be doing a lot more run heavy play actions bootlegs that type of offense where we're going to be leaning on very very heavily on our Run game with James Connor potentially seeing Amari de Mardo as well as Trey Benson with the rookie that we got with one of our third round picks in the 2024 draft so the Cardinals have a lot of room to be a very very well balanced team in the 2024 season and of course you cannot ignore the elephant of the room and having obvious Marvin Harrison Jr one of the best wide receiving prospects we've seen come out of college in a very long time he is now wide receiver one for the Cardinals we do got some very underrated wide receivers with Michael Wilson who actually had a really good rookie year for the Cardinals unfortunately was not able to stay healthy but when he was on the field he was very productive and then we got Greg dorch in the slot which is definitely a guy that's Shifty and plays bigger than his size so Arizona Cardinal fans are very excited about what this offense can definitely muster obviously we need to be able to stay on on the field convert third Downs make sure that run game is as efficient as they possibly can now the Cardinals have added players and I think one of the big things that we need to talk about is that the Buffalo Bills although led by Josh Allen and it's still a Super Bowl contending team right I'm not going to sit here and say they're not they've taken a hit this year right with a lot of talent leaving the roster either if you want to talk about on the defensive side of the ball with travius white I believe he is now finding himself on another roster and then Milano which they didn't lose him to another team but unfortunately he went down with a season ending injury and there are some people out there that believe that Matt Milano was going to be one of the best players on that defensive side of the ball so a huge blow for the uh the Buffalo Bills now to me as a Cardinal fan I do believe their defensive line is actually pretty darn good with Greg Russo as well as Ed Oliver AJ abessa they do got some really talented pieces out there that can rush the passer but I think outside that defensive line there is a lot of unknown for me specifically now I can be absolutely blindsided and this defense could probably be one of the best defenses we've seen out there especially against an Arizona Cardinal um you know LED offense we'll have to kind of wait and see but they do got some names out there like rasul Douglas which is the former Arizona Cardinal unfortunately the Cardinals ended up releasing him he found his way to Green Bay and then he made his way over to the Buffalo Bills he is a player that I really really did like and unfortunately the Cardinals just didn't keep them right they also got Taylor rap uh Demar Hamlin with which obviously we all know the story of Demar Hamlin but I think outside the defensive line it's not something where I'm really fearing as a Cardinal fan I think there's going to be a lot of points being put up on both sides of the ball but then that kind of Segways me into another topic right and I believe that their wide receiving core is not as dynamic as it was last year in 2023 they took a hit with not having obviously Stefan Diggs and I get it right a lot of Buffalo Bills fans out there are saying that he was a cancer and he needed to get out of this locker room right and at the end of the day the Buffalo Bills chose Josh Allen which it was the right decision but now they're kind of finding themselves with you know wide receiver one potentially being Curtis Samuel and no knock on him I think he's actually a really good well-rounded wide receiver we just haven't really seen him excel in a role because of the quarterbacks that he's had but leave it up to Josh Allen to make a guy very very good right so we'll have to kind of wait to see how Curtis Samuel ends up shaking out right now he is currently listed as questionable but I do believe he is is going to be a go in week one uh for the Buffalo Bills and then they got KH Shakur as well and then they also got Keon Coleman which is a rookie which a lot of high praises for him but sometimes wide receivers take a little bit to really get from the Collegiate level to the NFL level so they lost Stefan Diggs but they also lost Gabe Davis as well so their primary number one and number two wide receivers are not there anymore right KH Shakur was a guy that actually kind of stood out very very well last year in the later part of the season but I think here at the end of the day having those two guys not there and Stefan Diggs and Gabe Davis I think it's going to take a huge blow uh for this wide receiving core they do got a really young promising tight end and uh Dalton concade as well we haven't really seen him break out yet maybe this might be the year especially because the the lack of stardom in the wide receiving core but one player I really do like on their offensive side of the ball is going to be James Cook their running back has the ability to catch out of the back field has some really really good hands and obviously is a running back that I actually do feel like last year he had a really really good uh showing especially when they ended up firing their uh former offensive coordinator and moved on over to their new offensive coordinator it almost kind of seemed like this run game took a stride and James Cook became the focal point that a lot of people thought he should have been in the beginning of the season so excited to see what he's going to do definitely a really really good weapon for the Buffalo Bills and they did draft Ray Davis as well so curious to figure out how they're going to implement him um into this offense but definitely go ahead and uh be fully prepared that James Cook is going to be uh that that Workhorse running back for the Buffalo Bills especially catching out the back field as well so but I think who is going to be the winner of this game obviously whoever scores the most points who's going to be the team that's going to be able to provide the most pressure on the opposing quarterback can we force Josh Allen to have one interceptions two interceptions right and causing him to get out of the pocket one thing I fear about Josh Allen is obviously his throwing ability but not just that the ability to scramble out of the pocket and just extend plays with his legs and if there's nothing available he can definitely go ahead and take the Rock and actually just run it himself in this is going to be an absolutely exciting matchup here for the Cardinals perspective and I can only hope that the Buffalo Bills fans are seeing this game as a potential you know this offense can be very good for the Cardinals as well we got the weapons I know there's a lot of people that are not giving us any chance to win this game I think the last time I ended up looking at obviously Vegas Vegas has us losing this game Vegas only has us winning about 6.5 games or 7.5 games which obviously is a step in the right direction from the four- win season that we had in 2023 but I do think if Kyler Murray can stay healthy this offense can be very very good now the big question is can this offense do enough to make sure that our defense is going to be able to get those one or two crucial stops here and the end part of um a game right so we'll have to kind of wait and see how this defense shakes out maybe they might be better than I think that they are right ladies and
