James were once again stained with blood on Thursday evening as 28-year-old II tall winter known to many as Nathaniel became the latest victim of the Island's spiraling wave of violence in a shocking display of coldblooded brutality winter was gunned down in broad daylight turning a busy afternoon on Barnett Street into a scene of horror and despair it was about 5 p.m. when the unthinkable happened winter a laborer from Kon Lane in Mount Salem was traveling as a passenger in a motor vehicle the hum of the city's evening bustle was shattered when a man approached the vehicle with deadly intent without hesitation he drew his weapon and opened fire hitting winter in the upper body Witnesses stood Frozen the noise of the gunfire reverberating in their ears Fe etched into their faces they watched as Winter's life bled out in the very streets he had walked for years his as salent disappeared into the Shadows leaving behind only Terror and unanswered questions the police arrived swiftly their blue and red lights flashing in Grim contrast to the Setting Sun they found winter lying on the cold pavement his body riddled with gunshot wounds he was rushed to the hospital by the police but doctors could do nothing but pronounce him Dead on Arrival as the news of his murder spread grief enveloped the tight-knit community of Mount Salem friends and family were left reeling their hearts heavy with sorrow as they struggled to come to terms with the sudden and senseless loss Nathaniel as many affectionately knew him was not just a laborer he was a brother a son a friend his death has left a gaping hole in the lives of those who loved him the investigation into Winter's killing is ongoing but in a parish already plagued by rampant violence hope for Swift Justice feels like a distant dream St James once celebrated for its vibrant culture and warm Hospitality now finds itself in the grip of a seemingly Unstoppable wave of Bloodshed each new murder serves as a darkark reminder of the everpresent danger lurking in the streets as monteo Bay Mourns the loss of another son one can't help but ask how many more lives will be lost before the violence subsides y I said yo yo yo and the hills yo no my she is a problem my my she is a problem I can't leave with her I can't leave with her still I can't live without her no way no way [Music]
