Michael McDow Spa out with all four tires leaving the ground with just seven laps remaining during NASCAR's Coke Zero sugar 400 Austin syri appeared to try to pass McDow on a last ditch effort block attempt from the outside Lane at Daytona but he clipped the back of the number 34 Ford Mustang sending him spinning out of control across multiple Lanes once completely horizontal across the track loano and mcdow's vehicles collided sending McDow completely Airborne as Sparks flew off his next gen car the crash affected multiple drivers on the track including Logano Justin Haley Kyle Larson Ryan blay Alex Bowman Tyler reic Christopher Bell William Byron Ricky stanhouse Jr cnri Chris puser and Austin Hill logano's onboard camera footage was released online it showed him navigating a thick cloud of smoke with nowhere to go as mcdow's car leapt onto two wheels and skidded across the track reporters on the scene confirmed that the crash was a 15 car P up making it the biggest Collision of the night after admitting to not seeing the Collision footage logana told media members he could have done nothing to prevent the impact I haven't seen a replay yet but it looked like a push out of the corner and he just came out in front of me said loano nothing you can do the speed of racing is really cool until you wreck it was knowing to be one of those Reeses you could tell tell already he continued it's a product of the racing the pushes and shs are so intense and the car is so low and rid and you get out of control when you start pushing each other to prevent cars from going airborne loano suggested that NASCAR make next gen cars that handle better when pushed or rearranged the design of the vehicles to make them more difficult to lift do if we don't do anything we'll just keep crashing he continued it that's what they NASCAR once they got it but it's not what we're looking for when it comes to Speedway racing but it's entertaining I guess said Lana with a sarcastic tone before opening up a Coca-Cola zero bottle the official sponsor of the race McDow said the crash was unfortunate as he believed that he put front row Motorsports in position to win the race I don't want to throw any opinions out there because Lord knows I've made mistakes at Super Speedways he said I want to to make sure it wasn't me but I feel like I got turned getting down into turn one and I was at the wrong angle at the wrong time McDow addressed syndric and said he wouldn't blame him for the crash saying their pushes and bumps back and forth throughout the race were in the spirit of competition while admitting that everyone in contention to win typically pushes late in the races the push usually doesn't occur driving into the corner I had my eyes closed he said when asked if he realized his car went ter born who whoever hit me it felt like it set me back down it got real light and quiet when I got hit but then I ended up back on the ground there's guys out there trying to win and everybody is going to go for
