hello America I'm Mark lvin and this is life liberty and lvin Sunday thank you for being here we have two great guests Pete Heth and Brent bozel later in the program I always tell I'm very blessed to be in this position to have this platform but even more I'm blessed to have you as an audience why you're patriotic you're smart you're attentive and you want to learn and you want to know because you want to help save this country and I'm with you 100% on last evening's program I talked a bit about Dem democracy well we're going to call this democracy part two and we're going to dig even deeper so I'm glad you're with us every he of this group called Freedom House they're sort of left of center but it's a pretty good organization that keeps track of fascism Marxism authoritarianism that is regimes that are repressive and oppressive and they put out this report in 2017 their latest report talking about what's happening throughout the world and they're very concerned about it and the report focuses mainly on communist China and fascistic Russia but addresses other countries as well and so the concern is that we're seeing democracies more and more that are turning into authoritarian regimes now let's talk about this this is important and I want to relate this to the United States as I go through this you think about this too and what's happening in your country our country they talk about repression in the modern authoritarian State and the strategy of the modern authoritarians within democracies repression they say is more subtle and calibrated exploitation looking for opportunities to advance the cause of authoritarianism in a relatively free Society crippling your political opposition without annihilating it so you at least create the impression that you still have an opposition but you it so it's not an effective opposition the capturing of societal institutions Academia entertainment so forth and so on dominate all branches of government so you still have these branches of government so you can still refer to separation of powers and branches of government and so forth and so on but control them sound familiar electoral systems that give the illusion of democracy but the elections are fun Ally unfair and you create a crude majoritarianism H who's been warning us about that I think his name is Donald Trump dominate the media because the media and the party need to be essentially the same an oligarchical control of the media we have that today use high production use entertaining content but still the government slash party or what I'll call the state and the Monopoly party control the media control of the security forces control of the key elements of the economy rewriting the history of the country to serve the purposes of the party the purposes of the agenda because the party is more important than the country the party is the Cal that you use to destroy or conquer the party plow through institutional checks and balances in the name of democracy and political mandates we're doing it for the people we were elected Define all repressive acts as Democratic in order to legalize repression maintain control over the electoral process behind the scenes false diversity and inclusion maintain control of political process the electoral process but talk about the diverse population how many people are voting it's a fantastic democracy when it's not create the illusion of competitive elections while squatching it in reality you need a government party we have a government party it's called the Democrat Party that's why it keeps building the bureaucracy that's why the bureaucracy is in full legislative mode when the Democrats control it they use regulation they use executive orders they use the executive branch to bypass Congress that's why they'll shut down the government before they'll cut one penny for the massive administrative State because the government the Democrat Party the administrative State and the media are effectively one brings us to the government media we have a government media we have a party media look at all the Democrats that populate all the media platforms look at all the corporations that are Democrat supporting corporations that own the media platforms there's simply no question about it this massive administrative State serves the purposes of the Democrat Party it is permanent it is freedom killing it is a leviathan is it is a ubiquitous force with immense police Powers the government is to be a neutral entity when you have a democracy but not in authoritarianism increasing authoritarian state it tolerates the plurality of parties as long it it is the dominant party as long as the government functions for the one party the government and the party are indisoluble they collude to do things like restrict free speech to rewrite our language pronoun once a woman to impose beliefs and thought processes CRT Dei e SG you name it rewrite the language change the meaning of words impose new belief systems thought control constantly day in and day out in the government runs schools in their media in their culture shame people who don't go along dismiss them accuse them of being things that they're not we call this propaganda brainwashing and ultimately fundamentally the goal is to re-engineer society and the individual to acques to the demands of the party and the state you see this all around you America but they didn't write this Freedom House for America they were talking about Russia and China and other regimes I'm talking about America big government more spending more bureaucrats IRS agents rule by regulation rule by executive order not the representatives of the people more audits more investigations more penalties more fines price controls wage controls government run Health Care eliminate the private sector nationalize drug companies by snatching their patents a wealth tax which is an ownership tax on private property confiscatory increases on taxes for Successful People demonize them as Rich crippling taxes on American industry call them corporate taxes government control of Education government control of the upbringing of your children in Minnesota throughout this country parental rights are under attack control what your children read in public schools and elsewhere and when you reject and say take that filth off the shelf you're accused of book burning and book Banning the destruction of the nuclear family all kinds of sex acts and sexual perversion and and reassignment and all the rest is an attack on the nuclear family and the social bonds reshaped the family reshaped the population all this re-engineering and rejiggering is intended to empower the government and the the party the government and the Democrat Party Mass amnesty they've already told us what that means to reshape the electorate Mass voter registration eliminate voter ID early voting late voting voter harvesting dropboxes that's not democracy that's mobocracy again that's not democracy that's mocine it's happening right now A propaganda war against the founding 16 19 replaces 1776 the war on the Constitution the war on the Bill of Rights the First Amendment the second the fourth fifth 6th 8th 9th and 10th the 14th Amendment separation of powers eliminate the Electoral College to empower the Democrat Party in the big cities pack the court with leftist and if you can't pack it change the court eliminate the filibuster so you don't slow down this Juggernaut of Democrat Party big government legislation that you can never verse destroy them but then claim you're defending them excuse us we're defending democracy we're defending law we're defending the Constitution which brings us directly to the Democrat party convention last week what was it what was that convention it was a farce it was a farce of a democratic process glitzy highly produced star studed the media was slobbering all over media analysis wall toall coverage music all the rest dancing was an abomination of authoritarianism on full display that's what it was it was a pokin convention a fake fraudulent convention celebrating the successful Palace coup by Camala Harris the vice president against Joe Biden the president that's what it was wasn't Obama wasn't Pelosi it was Harris she overthrew the president she did it they create the pretense of a Democratic primary that had all the markings of a fascist disenfranchisement of millions of Voters they toppled the party's democratically elected nominee for a buffoonish incompetent inexperienced extremist ideologue who would never and could never receive the presidential nomination through a legitimate process not one damn vote that's the way dictatorships Marxist regimes military hunas monarchies islamist States that's the way they operate this is a first for the United States of America it's happening right in front of your eyes the media have been covering it they've been covering it like a pillow suffocating it so you can't really understand what's taking place but we're told by the party and its media the Democrat Party and its media that it was historic that it was joyful that it was exciting that it was spectacular the first black woman nominee for president ever of course the vice president had already been selected by the party apparat in something called a virtual nomination we never seen anything like this many days before last week's convention and without a single vote from any citizen without any challenges without any debate nothing zero that's a coup she was selected she led the coup she organized it she was selected and the convention was nothing more than this pkin Village it was a fake wasn't a political convention a complete fabrication a propaganda operation with the s full support of the government SD Democrat Party media and then is now no serious interview for this candidate no serious press events even with their party press no access nothing and over a month just in kind media hundreds of millions contributions from the phony press the Democrat Party oligarchs donating billions of dollars to create a fiction to create an image of our great new historic leader with PID tv ads party surrogates spread out from Capitol Hill from different organizations from within the media telling us what to think what kamla Harris really believes no she's not flip-flopping massive propaganda brainwashing operation like in authoritarian regimes oh she'll eventually D us and honor us with an interview maybe a couple debates oh yes she'll show a little an here and there but nothing that might reveal her her grand plans her past record her incoherence her babblings her anger remember that curses out staff all the time uses the f word but now she smiles and laughs and she's joyful a complete fiction a recreated image that's all it is they're not going to give us anything that might Pierce this fictional Veil carefully created by the party and its media to protect her from us we the people you see we're the unwashed we're the pleads we just got to go along with this just go vote and vote for her this is democracy according to the Democrat Party and its media this is what they seek to defend in their election we're defending democracy they say the real danger democracy they tell us over and over again is the other party the Republican party not Donald Trump remember he's Hitler he wants to be a dictator just remember he hates the Constitution just remember January 6th that is the party the Republican party that actually held primaries the party that honored the results of the primaries the decision of the voters the party that had a real convention and a real nominating process the party that nominated for president a real candidate who actually campaigned throughout the country who was ubiquitous who who did interviews press events with friend and foe alike who doesn't conceal his views his policies and his plans a candidate who campaigns everywhere and anywhere who speaks for 60 to 90 minutes oh he talks too long they say who's demanding more debates not less he's the man who's opposed to democracy that would be Donald Trump and the Republican party you see Donald Trump and the Republican party they not only defend democracy they practice American military history and that is the surrender to the Taliban in Afghanistan The Unbelievable murder of 13 American soldiers and hundreds of people wounded we have American Americans held hostage there still that they never talk about we have allies friends interpreters and others who are there which his administration has done nothing I understand they're actually giving billions of dollars to the Taliban now kamla Harris has said that she's the last one Biden spoke to she was proud of it she was proud of what took place isn't this the problem with somebody who has no experience in foreign policy and National Security does everything based on ideology yes she has not only does she have no experience but she's been learning from the guy who's been wrong as Bob gate said on every major foreign policy decision for the past 40 years to include his own Administration K Harris was right there when Joe Biden made this call if she had an inkling of an understanding of how bad this would unfold she should have and would have spoken up but she didn't which means she's completely complicit with abandoning our men with the who were killed while we relied on the Taliban for our security and not just that Mark but the chaos that unfolded around the world after that the invasion in Ukraine because Vladimir Putin saw no stop sign same thing uh in in Israel with the attack from Hamas uh that she's now on both sides of she won't explain what she would do in Ukraine either she has no worldview she's an ideologue who barely likes who who who comes from a Marxist background and is ambivalent about America's role in the world so this is the Harris Biden administration at this point she would have made the same call Joe did which means the world sees the same signals from her you know Pete H Seth if you're a serious person a substantive person and she's almost 60 years old she's lived a life and you you actually learn as you go along in life and you know you have absolutely no background experience or even common sense when it comes to National Security and Military Affairs wouldn't you pick as your running mate somebody who does would you pick as your running mate somebody who when they was called to duty to deploy he went awok I'm tired of people saying thank you for your service thank you for nothing you were in the National Guard you were paid to be in the National Guard you volunteered to be in the National Guard and was time to act like you were in the National Guard and step up and deploy with your unit that you commanded you and aall Iran scared that's what he did would you kick somebody like that as your running mate you don't know a damn thing about National Security and foreign policy well of course of course if if governing is what you believed in you would but if you're an ideologue who's very thin skinned you pick another ideologue who will happily be differential to you just cuz he's just happy to be there they're both uh communist adjacent at best uh they both have really radical worldviews and you're exactly right about Tim Walls he's Tim awols it's like it's like training it's like playing 24 seasons in the NFL and then your team finally makes it to the Super Bowl and you say nope I'm good I'm out I'll watch from the sidelines and and go you know cash in and try to become a congressman while you do a 20mon tour in Iraq this unit saw combat he abandoned his men his foreign policy experiences a whole lot of nothing I don't know it's it's destroying Minnesota uh is is his background so this is not just an ideological ticket it's an grossly incompetent ticket who is who all about themselves I mean I'm listen any guy I know that sered with looks at Tim Walls and says Spotlight Ranger that guy loved it in peace time but when it took took it was about time to hit the battlefield he said no I'm good I'm good yeah but you know what pet it's even worse about you have to be some kind of a psycho to keep going around and acting like you actually did something you didn't do when it comes to gun control I didn't carry rifles like that into combat you didn't carry a damn thing in the combat or when he walks around with a coin that he has produced indicating that he at combat or he's on C-Span talking about his in he must have said it 10,000 times this guy is a pathological liar he lied about his DUI he's lied about being a coach in football he goes to communist China 30 times hell I don't think I've been to McDonald's 30 times this guy is bad news he's a psycho so when you have her who's an ideologue who can barely complete sentences who's hiding from the American people us she's hiding from us she doesn't want us to know her her Real views she doesn't want to know us to know that she babbles just like Biden does they don't want us to know about walls they pretend oh he's from the Midwest now suddenly they like heavy white guys from the middle west who I thought we were supposed to hate and this is the ticket that they offer right Mark you saw it all on display at the DNC you know the left like to talk a lot about cultural appropriation you know what they're doing right now Mark political appropriation they they they say freedom everywhere well what do they mean mean freedom to abort babies and and push smut into schools they throw on camo hats with with a blaze orange on we like to hunt too we're outdoors and suddenly they love football and coach and and they stand with Israel and they believe in borders see America is a center right country they want common sense they don't want radicalism they know they're radicals and so they're hiding it and the media is letting them hide it uh walls is the latest example of that he's not some everyday Midwest guy he let the cities in Minneapolis burn because of an IDE ideology we have to expose them for the radicals they are because the media of course won't do it it's political appropriation they want to look like Republicans because this country doesn't want the radicalism they're selling Pete heg says when we return the Border we have the greatest level of slavery taking place in this country since the end of the Civil War women sold into slavery children sold into slavery the vast majority of them people of color she may not be the borders are of course she was but she is the vice president of the United line she stood in front of that convention and said I'm the one that wants secure borders these are not the droids you're looking for I want a border security uh bill she knows full well what unfolded on her her her admin her administration's watched she was supposed to be in charge of the Border she wanted it wide open because that's what the left wanted to do she didn't care one bit about average Americans who are affected Now by this crime that's why Donald Trump is so smart to go to the Border pull in uh Angel bombs and others of of those who've been killed by illegals humanize this issue Americans care about the Safety and Security of their kids KLA Harris betrayed that she can give one speech but she can't what she going to do when Donald Trump questions her on that what's she going to do when she has an actual interview if she ever has one I don't know if she will she can't so they will cover for her as long as she can but it is it was her job she failed it now she wants the big job and she'll do more of the same if she gets it you know Pete he say she keeps poging to this so-called bipartisan legislation that was negotiated in secret not a single Republican in the house supported it three Republicans and the Senate supported it it would have enshrined for all time Biden's executive orders it would have made it impossible for Donald Trump God willing who becomes president to actually secure the Border it would have enshrined millions of illegal aliens every single year coming into this country and they say I will sign that here's my question where are the 330,000 unaccompanied miners forget about legislation forget about signing what about all the slavery that's occurred why don't you go down there why don't you speak out why don't you do something about it Madam Vice president we're supposed to give you a promotion when you're screwed up as Vice President of the United States what is this bipartisan legislation nonsense yeah shame on the three Republicans that were foolish enough to sign on to it so they can call it bipartisan when it's not bipartisan at all uh you're right it's sex trafficking it's fenel it's dead Americans you're I have the same why people can't see this uh drives me nuts they choose to ignore you know what you know the reason why they don't because no other networks cover this you cover it Bill bjan covers it Griff Jenkins covers it we cover it others don't so a lot of Americans you know they may see the crime and see a little bit of that but they don't they'll believe her Lies when she says we want to control the Border no they don't they want it wide open if they could have they would have and they didn't so Trump's got to keep tying her to the last three and a half years because she's going to say survey of democratic voters leading into the elections to see what they knew about Cala Harris marked the numbers are not to be believed 71% of Democrats didn't know that she supported reparations to atone for slavery 86% didn't know that she supports giving death row inmates the right to vote 73% of Democrats didn't know that she was a co-sponsor of the radical Green New Deal 81% of Democrats didn't know health insurance is one of the most important issues out there that she's in favor of eliminating all Private health insurance you heard me right 71% of Democrats didn't know that she was in favor of defunding the police 78% of Democrats didn't know that she was she set up the fund to bail out protesters during the 2020 riots the border is the number two issue facing Americans Democrats Republicans alike are looking at the border being over run and they're horrified by what's happening with that in mind 72% of Democrats didn't know that as borders are she had never once been to a conflict Zone and they're actually pretending that she was never the borders are 77% of Democrats didn't know that she supports eliminating ice but here's the big one mark the one that jumped off the page to me 74% of Democrats do not know that she is in favor of not making it a crime to cross the border illegally in other words complete open borders anybody can come in and it's not a crime to do that 74% so that was leading into the uh convention I can guarantee you mark Lin leaving the conect the convention nothing's changed because they never addressed any one of these issues had they made their case to the American people on all these things saying I believe these things I believe that death throw inmates ought to get the right to vote I believe we need to eliminate the police I believe we need to have open borders I believe we need to take away your your private health insurance had she made that argument Donald Trump would be ahead by 30 points right now you're 100% right so let's let's dig into this a little bit so we have a fourcy on the face of the Earth We're supposed to have the greatest free press on the face of the Earth and we have a candidate for president of the United States who's the vice president of the United States the American people do not know and by God if she has her way her party has her way and the media have her way the American people will never know about her right up to and including on Election Day and I see liberals and Democrats on this network and other network say but it's working what's working it's not working for the American people what do you see it's well it's working because those same Democrats and the media are enabling it for it to happen look Mark you know it's I would think if I were a political reporter and the the the oldfashioned Bob Novak kind of of political reporter today this election cycle to be would be the most intriguing election of my lifetime in the middle of the campaign the Democratic nominee the presumptive nominee who's also happens to be the president of the United States is thrown under the bus by the Democratic political machine I mean what a story to investigate and yet silence Camala Harris who was considered the whole time she was abolutely inept vice president everybody did suddenly suddenly overnight literally overnight the entire Democratic machine declares she's the greatest saying since life bread this is a great story for the media just to investigate and yet and yet and yet they have been the ones who have put the kabash all this talk about Kamal Harris won't do an interview what about reporters doing a story this is being lost reporters are deliberately keeping the kabash on her record they don't want the American people to know who she is yeah and that's what happens in authoritarian regimes not great constitutional republic so what is this is it an authoritarian regime or is it a great constitutional republic we'll explore that
