isn't it completely different me yeah it's it's um I tell you what of this week as well obviously you know with all the stuff that goes on and the promotion side and that you have to do it's been obviously fun uh with football you know you train train train up till Friday afternoon then you game Saturday and I find it a bit weird that kind of the hard work's been done and then this week you kind of come off it a bit it feels like I'm not I'm being lazy um but you know it's something that I'm it's new to me I'm getting used to it with football is such a team sport obviously you got 10 men around you there's going to be no one to help you out in that ring on Saturday night it's very different pressure isn't it completely yeah like you say like I said if you know if I'm playing Saturday afternoon and I'm having a bit of a stinker I've got 10 m I'm looking at me say I need you help me out um you know I've got like you know you you're having a bad game Jamie V going scor that chick and you're fine no one remembers but I think with this you're in your on your own you got a um yeah someone's trying to punch you in the face and but that's it's exciting isn't it and it's I said again it's it's on new you've played under some great managers in your time um some strict ones some stricter than other but how do they compare to Pat Barrett cuz uh Pat Barrett I think he will give you the hairdryer treatment if you put a step wrong yeah I'm not sure he'd have been managing very long a football teamate cuz there'd be no one to manage not many people would have been able to put with be able to handle him but listen he's one of the best in it um he's been absolutely unbelievable with me I think I've responded to everything how he's been um reminds me a bit like listen he scares me like when I was a kid coming through with United and so Alex Ferguson used to get called over to the first team and and Fergie was there and it just I get that feeling with him around him but it's respect you know he knows what he's doing so Alex did um and yeah he's put me through it uh and I've just tried to do everything and and when he's tried to make me give up I haven't so I think he's been quite impressed with what I've tried to do is that a statement of intent from your side though the fact that you chose to work with someone as knowledgeable and has the experience Like Pat does yeah cuz I think look you're not let's be honest in four weeks I'm not going to be a top boxer with all this skill and know know every bit of footwork know how to slip this slip that it's not it's not going to happen in four weeks but they having the mentality you know and maybe the fitness and the strength uh and the belief and that's what Pat can give you you know the other side he can but in that frame time it's tough so i' we've just tried to go with that really and yeah that's that's where we we we we're leaning on did you know who Danny arens was about five weeks ago before you got that call in I Bea I didn't m without sounding disrespectful I didn't um you know when it come out actually you know all me when M that were ringing me because of their kids you know and all the teenagers that that we know um but no this I didn't know and obviously you know I've not known him long I've only met him a couple of times um I know he's he likes his football and stuff so this I've got to have respect for him because the training is tough and uh and everything that he's done so I'm just going to have to go in there respect him but not respect him too much what gives you the drive to get up and train You've Won everything you've won in your chosen profession like you don't really need to go and proove and you think in a different sport um it's just giv me a bit of purpose I think we and and and and as well me and I know people talk about a lot but it's been amazing for my mental health you know when you're when you're not um I said you not got a routine and stuff like that you a bit lost we used to you know we're so rigid with our with our training and and our lives um and yeah it's giv me a purpose get out of bed you got some to work towards and honestly M it's you know six weeks you would have seen me six weeks ago after my be for a weekend and all that stuff and my lad stto and that to now it's it's two different people is your plan to stay in the sport after Saturday night it actually is it is I said it's uh you can see how how happy it's made me listen yeah you know know um you know going in sping and you know getting head punched in it's not what your mom wants is it when used to kick a football but n it's just honestly I'm learning a lot about myself uh and this whole journey with Misfits and and the people that I've met you know it's been it's been amazing who would be the dream opponent um well Danny keeps going on about Joe well um but you know what I mentioned before I'd like to I'd like to fight IO speed okay yeah I wasn't expecting that there was so there's about 200 footballers I was expecting you talk and you come up with him no but this is I'm I'm representing football here so yeah I'm I'm looking to represent football against that world so yeah where is he there you go call out for I show speed um when you go back to that title winning Leicester team who do you think could crack the hardest in the ring and you can't say yourself oh who badest um I think i' obviously I think vs would be lightning quick with his punches I know he's rapping and he'd be in and out um but then you got some of like Big Wes Morgan big skipo you know what I mean if he landed one on you I think that would hurt so I'd go with like Jamie VY for sharpness and quickness and heavy weat W Morgan mentioned Jam Mard there um I've spoke to about three for foot current footballers and ex footballers all Center forwards and they all seem to think they can d a bit they all want to get in the ring but you're the first one and you was a fullback so um you you got to stick it on the old s forwards up there yeah yes yeah listen now I think it's anyone that's been football you you're going to back yourself out here but yeah I think um listen I wouldn't be surprised if he V could be a call up for this in the future but he's still playing this and the guys will keep going on for years is the way he's what he's doing at the moment and still scoring goals last week against Tottenham so this is Danny's team there we go so yeah I think we could iist I'll try and persuade vads in the future to to step over if you get a phone call and you somehow managed to make probably a catch weight Wayne Rooney would you uh accept oh I'm seeing it there Len I'm seeing him next Saturday because we've got a a charity game Old Trafford against cic um so you're going to go straight through him if he says no yeah listen yeah listen I got listen he's been he's a boxer I know he is um he has been he know he's been around it but listen
