[Music] [Music] [Music] hello everyone and welcome to another match reaction show on football tour podcast my name is Aussie and I'm your host for today's show what a victory for the r today as Liverpool managed to get the win over the bees as we won 2-0 against brenford so today we'll do a match review and I'll also do a player ratings this is also a calling show guys so if you'd like to game brenford definitely started the more aggressive team in the first half they showed a couple of moments through wiissa who was pressing and attacking the channels with purpose but wasn't able to produce any end product for me Liverpool starting the game really flat and the atmosphere kind of represented that as well it was a strange atmosphere within the crowd not sure what to make of it were the fans nervous not too sure some fans might not be excited by slot ball so make it what you will me personally I'm enjoying this new type of football we don't need to play a game 100 miles hour just to get a win we're a lot more controlled a lot more measured and I'm all for it but in terms of this game I think we lacked a bit of urgency from an attacking point of view in the first half but having said that our first attack led to a goal in the 14th minute Salah starts the attack from his own half after a corner kick J drives with the ball and releases the perfect free ball towards Lis Diaz who's through on goal and smashes the ball into the back of the net with his left foot and what a finish it was for the claman Winger now to all those fans that want him sold and have him replaced by Anthony Gordon where are you guys you really think Gordon is ahead of Lucho if you do that's on you if that's what you believe but in my opinion Lis Diaz is going to cook this season mark my words clip this if you completely disagree save it as a receipt I sck by what I'm saying he's going to have a fantastic season for the Reds once we scored a goal the team looked a lot more comfortable in possession the crowd were a bit more vocal and increased uh the 10.1 of our level of play which is what I wanted from the start but overall it was a good first half the team were in control and we never really looked like we were going to concede and that good form certainly continued into the second half second half little were the better team in terms of the output they were more aggressive and on the front foot Robertson was so close to scoring in the opening minutes as J improvises with an overhead kick pass that leads towards Robinson on Far post he applies the header fortunately hits the goalkeeper right in his face almost knocked him out to be fair but brenford produced their best chance of the game as Collins has a header from a corner kick and to be fair Alison produced a very important save as it was Point Blank Range to deny the defender and he also managed to punch the ball away from danger Luis Diaz was also very close to scoring his second goal of the game a fair play to fleen he produced a phenomenal save to deny the Liverpool Winger it was only a matter of time before Liverpool extended the lead and that's what exactly what happened moments later Lis Diaz threats the free ball towards Salah and he finishes clinically in the B Corner that goal puts Salah ahead of Robbie Fowler in Liverpool's alltime goal scorers another record broken for the Egyptian king Liverpool made some wholesale changes just after that goal as Diaz J and Trent were substituted for gakpo Nunes and Conor Bradley now I'm sure a lot of us noticed Trent's reaction about being taken off and to make it worse Anor slot had to sit next to him in order to calm him down now once an slot walked away Trent was rolling his eyes and looked really peed off even after the game he still had a straight face and jot ran over to him to try and grab his face to make him smile look I don't want to make a big deal out of the situation but that is a slight concern it could be a couple of things it could be where he thought he was having such a great game that he couldn't hide his emotions about getting substituted and I get it we've all played football we've all been in those sort of situations it's a fair enough point but he needs to be a bit more professional especially if the coach has come up to you to have a word from there onwards you go kind of just need to switch off and just support your team rather than still be within your feelings after the final of blue no Smiles whatsoever from CH under arold the alternative thinking could be that it's a bit more serious than we think it is where he's not buying into slots philosophy he probably doesn't like him as a coach or as an individual and his mind might be set on leaving the club to join Real Madrid where he's strongly being linked with can't rule it out actually thought it was good management from AR slot he took off five players in this game and brought on players that didn't get much game time last week with the likes of nun ell and Endo so the substitutions that were done for me were were done at the right time and allowed other players in the squad to get some minutes under their belt so for me this is something Trent needs to get accustomed to you can't throw your dummy out of the pram just because you've been substituted now let me put into perspective if he was playing for Real Madrid do you think he'll never get substituted of course not it's part and parcel of the game so hopefully we'll just take it as frustration today that he didn't want to leave the pitch because he thought he was having such a great game but if this continues it kind of Paints the picture for us that he no longer wants to play for the club now I've seen some fans on social go a little bit dramatic and say we need to sell him because he's not showing the right attitude calm down that's all I got to say if you've played football you know emotions run higher sometimes so it's possibly a one-off but you know you have to analyze the situation and because of the club in terms of not negotiating an extension for him and leave it until the final year it creates a situation where the fans are on edge and the player might be feeling the same as well so there's a lot of uncertainty within the club and it needs to be addressed soon and I think the sooner it's addressed the better if he does want to stay at at the club contract needs to be wrapped up very very soon and that goes along with Bandai K Salah but let's see we'll we'll see when that time comes but back to the game GPO almost made it 3-0 with his funer shot that Clips the top of the bar and that was kind of the last attack towards the latter stages of the game and it sums up the game Al together fantastic win for Liverpool two wins out of two games another clean sheet which is so refreshing to see and we've got a big game coming up next weekend as we Face Manchester United and if you ask me I'm very confident right area we appreciate your first comment there and you you've always express your views with regards to that so is very much appreciated in terms of Liverpool yeah we need to address a lot of areas um will it get addressed Richard I'm I'm not too confident if I'm being brutally honest with you five days remaining the transfer window closes on Friday I've not got any incling in terms of players being linked with the club I feel like they probably look at the the starting lineup they look at the bench and they think it's a strong outfit so we don't need to add further reinforcements as fans we know how how the game is you need to have a big Squad in order to compete in all cylinders and right now the squad has good quality but it's a bit thin especially if one or two players get injured it's going to be it's going to be a long season for us if we're not able to compete and we're not able to equip when players are not around or players are unavailable due to injuries or out of form or suspension because you have to consider the fact that players can have dipping forms here and there so if players are not being rotated there's a big likelihood that they will overburn and it will affect their overall game and that's probably why some fans are not quite with slot ball right now because it's not intense it's not high speed and it's not what we're used to be seeing in the last you know so many years nine years so I think fans need to get used to that in terms of our new approach our new style of play if he's getting us wins that's what counts and we're playing good football especially in the second half around that hour mark we were playing some really good uh first time football esecially that move with Salah where he did like one touch passes amongst four other Liverpool players almost scored the perfect goal there so for me yeah we have to be patient with slot in terms of what he's presenting um within the squad hopefully the owners will show some ambition and bring in some reinforcements whatever they do makes me but it's a waiting game right now five more days and once the transfer Windows wrapped up I'll be doing a official Premier League prediction show and I'll probably do a transfer Roundup and it's yeah a lot of people will be put on blast and you already know who those people are so yeah look out for those shows coming up i' got a couple hit another gear playing a lot more quick passing uh it was easy on the eye for me it was really attractive football some fans aren't still with it where you know still get accustomed to this new style of play but in terms of our game against Manchester next weekend I'm very confident I think United obviously losing to Brighton is going to definitely lower the morale within the squad because the way you guys lost you know the last minute probably didn't feel good right so I still feel like with the new additions you made to your squad they're still taking time to get accustomed to each other and the M feel for me doesn't look like has the right balance so I believe you you're on the verge of selling Momin to Napoli so that's one play out the window got someone I know that you guys are close to sealing the deal whether he's ready for the Liverpool game remains to be seen but look I'm excited about this fixture it's that Old Trafford that doesn't really fase me in that regard so so yeah looking forward to the game next weekend and I'm sure we'll have some sort of discussions later on so yeah Pi up yourself as always um Richard says if players unfortunately get injured such as V Van Dyke Alon be Salah our team's performance may be negatively impacted potentially leading to losses in matches you never walk along it's so true remember that time when van got injured against Everton That season was that one was really an eye opener for everyone including the owners because we didn't have anyone within the ranks to kind of come in and take take the sort of the the realm from Van djk but what made it worse we had Joe Gomez that came on and looked good for a few games and then he got injured and then it was just like a a domino effect where we had no center backs at one point we had fabinho and even Henderson dropping deep that time so so yeah those times were dark times in terms of our season but we still managed to get U top four qualification however we have to look at the score we have to address certain positions in my team that I feel like were quite fing it was interesting to see that Joe go was actually selected in the squad but he didn't play so that goes to show that there could still be a possibility of him leaving the club in the next coming few days for me there's areas in the pitch that we just need to bolster right now I thought Midfield would have been a priority but we were getting rid of so many players in that Ro the likes of Morton and bastic two young and upcoming players they're being sold or I think bastic might be going out on long so I don't know I don't know what Liverpool have on their agenda because right now we're making a lot of sales in terms of getting rid of Fringe SL Squad players and making a lot of money off them but at the same time where is that money going is that being reinvested into the squad because the names you mentioned there if they were to get injured we don't really have adap quality to manage games without them like van djk I think we're better in a POS better position now than we were when he got injured all those years ago we got Kate we've got quansa and at the minute we've got Gomez but if Gomez was to depart we need a replacement and logical thinking would suggest that we would buy a replacement if we sell Joe Gomez this club has shown that sometimes we don't work in local manner because we always want to find the right player or the perfect player and if they're not available we're ready to wait for them in the next window or The Following Season that's is how FSU operates so hopefully we get surprise next week I'm not holding any High Hopes with regards to that I don't think we will but let's see how it goes and then Richard also says could you different level and for me the key against Manchester will be to have a strong start in the in the first half the this game and the previous game Town we've been very slow in terms of the buildup play I don't know if that's a tactical approach could it could be um we know a lot more the more games we play Under on a slot but I feel like United will definitely to be on the front foot might be a tactical deploy for us to just sit deep and then go on the Counterattack who knows but nevertheless it will be an exciting game to watch very early in the season which we're probably not used to but I'm all for it so yeah big big game coming up next week and whichard also said Joe Gomez is a veryy player we need some addition in left side of the center back defensive mid and right wing what is happening to madash Philly so in terms of the three positions you've addressed 100% we be saying it's all summer and I believe all of us local fans are saying the same things but the people that hold the cars or make that important decision they're not seeing it that way which is frustrating but yeah left side Center back 100% we need to get and that player has to be able to play left back if required we currently being linked with hppy for me he'd be a fantastic signing and I think he's available for around4 million pounds so it's not that expensive we've sold cavalo and SE Vandenberg for a combined fee of is it about 50 million so that should pay the bill right quick Master there in terms of like adjusting the numbers and getting players in but will the club do it who knows in terms of the madash Billy deal it's not been made official but from what reliable sources say is that the deal is pretty much done um but he will will be loaned that to Valencia for another season instead of coming to the Premier League at Bournemouth I would actually preferred for him to come to Bournemouth just so he would have been more accustomed to Premier League football but he's still playing at La Liga still a high level U playing league so it's not a big issue so he'll be there for another season whether they made that announcement official I'm not too sure but from what I've heard it's a done deal it's a 30 million plus 5 million addons so Alison's actually come out and said that he was aware of the mmad dash approach SL signing before everyone else heard it so he was part of the process or shall I say he was made aware that they're trying to sign an upcoming goalkeeper and he was saying you know he's all for it because the club do need to recruit for the long term because now not everyone's going to be here forever so for me that indicate that Allison May potentially stay and would be Keller her that departs next season that would be my understanding as it stands so yeah I'm not I'm all for that that's not that's not a bad thing Kell is going to leave at some point he wants to be First Choice keeper elsewhere and rightly so he's been a number two for quite a number of years now so yeah let's see what the future hes but as smart of a signing that is that is not a signing for right now that is a signing for next that's the long-term signing there we need adjust we need reinforcements we need additions right now in this current Squad so there's no point of thinking that far ahead if you're not resolving the issues right now we might be in a worse position going forward so yeah not not really smart business for me uh in terms of how FSG operating right now but let's see which I said we still need to talk about the hierarchy FSG rich is Huges and Michael Edwards once we get clarification of what happens in the transfer window we'll definitely address it in a more detailed show because I'm giving them five days to to sort it out I'm giv a benit of the doubt that the window hasn't closed yet so things can happen in in the next few days where it does who knows but once the the fire settles then I think we we can discuss it a bit more of a calmer head and a bit more calculator because right now I'm a little bit annoyed that we haven't really signed any additions to the squad I'm not asking for 50 million or 100 million pound players I'm just asking for areas in the in the squad that are have gaps within the team or we don't have enough strength and depth in the squad those are the positions that need to be addressed and right now we haven't done it so let's see let's see how it goes brard says Brown isn't at number six of DM we can we can't tackle and can't do the Dirty Work dirty as a Midfield he's a number eight or number 10 TP player for me I wouldn't classify Graber as a number 10 I think he is a number six SL number8 um when you're playing this kind of formation could be under J klopp you'd probably classify him as a number eight because we would play with a a destroyer as a number six and then two eights that are more ball carriers so in that formation that system he's a number eight in this formation that we have under Anna slot he's the number six he's not the because we'll have it's a double pivot so you've got two players doing a defensive duty but it's not it's not it's not a combination that is just to destroy the opposition's attack is to actually set the tempo of the team to the how he play so I actually like him in this role I think it suits him I just think we need to add another player with more quality that can complement grenberg and mcallistar so we need strength and DEP once one of these players goes who's going to who's going to fit in that's my concern if G gets injured right now who takes his place H look hasn't said it in playing words like that but he doesn't fancy Endo because he's a trademark Destroyer but he in terms of being a deep line playmaker that's not really his skill set and you've got the likes of btic going out on loan you've got Tyler Morton being sold you've got CIS Jones who can play that role but it's not really his role he's more of eight or more of 10 in this new formation that we're playing now so there's no strength in dep that's what I'm saying this is the concern if M gra get injured we're screwed now someone say what about putting Trent there we haven't done that under H we haven't tested that out so he'd have to he'd have to be an option going forward because we have Corner Bradley to take out that right back position and if Joe Gomez stays he can Prov cover for that as well so it allows Tren to play that Midfield well but right now we don't have the right Personnel so that's why I think it's important to get one more quality CDM and then get another Center back if Joe Gomez departs but even if Joe G stays I still feel like we need one more and a forward I would say would be ideal as a sort of like a understudy for Muhammed Salah but I'm just signing greedy right now for Club that's not signing players yeah sound like a fat boy in a candy shop right now so yeah I don't know if that's going to happen Ed football waffles says Kell good goalkeeper should get good money for him yeah 100% age I think it'll probably be next season where we cash in on him I probably say he's worth around 30 million plus if I'm being honest where a team would want to pay that remains to be seen but with the transfer market now it's definitely inflated so yeah definitely I think I think for his own career the development I think it's probably good for him to to move on and play first in football um cuz I think he's definitely good enough to do that so the C already have having Mad Dash vly as a new Sig next summer the the writing on the wall I would say for one of the gogers the part as it stand looks like it's unlikely to be Allison he wants to stay at the club so it's most likely going to be K so let's see let's see how it goes for Liverpool in the transfer window now will'll do the player ratings for the Liverpool team so let's put my Graphics here so in terms of Allison I thought I thought Allison was good when never called upon he didn't have to make too many saves today in the first half he was pretty quiet there was only that one moment where leis Potter cut in and had a shot but it was pretty much straight Allison and in the second half that's where you know you pay your big bucks for the goalkeeper where they they had a corner and Collins had a point blank shot from about two yards out tied the header fortunately for was straight at Allison but he powered it away and punched it away from danger had that been a goal it would completely change the landscape of the game so for me I think he had a solid game today um very good with was kicking there was a couple of moments where he distributed fantastic balls from a Canter attack and he actually gone straight to the player so distribution he always been really good but overall today I thought he was really solid so for me he gets uh an eight out of 10 trend for me actually plays really well today really impressive him in terms of his attacking uh distribution where ping a lot of passes really happy to see him bombing down the right flank a little bit more he's finding Aras more in the final third than he has done in the last year or two the inverted role I don't mind it but it's like it got too predictable when he was doing it every game I feel like you got pick your moments here and there today he's bombing down the right hand side good sort of interchange play with Salah and soosai so yeah very impressive good passing he's trying to score from pointner kicks today hit the hit the post on one occasion um and had a shot that was almost going to hit the back of the net but it was deflected uh by Collins for a corner kick so I think from an attacking point of view he had a good game however went from the defensive point view there were a couple there was a few moments where he was in one-onone Jewels with leis Potter and L Potter got away with him with ease in my opinion so that was are areas of the game where I feel like he needs to improve Pro cuz defensively he's actually good he's not bad people make it seem like he's on btech level of a Defender he's not he is a good Defender it's just that in those one-on-one situations he can get beaten quite easily so he needs to be a bit more aggressive or needs to be a bit more alerts of how to read the attacker's play I'm sure the attackers in the club can you know give him a few tricks to how to stop an opposing oppon attacker but overall today I think he was very very good so I'll give him an eight out of 10 um Kate for me was immense today really really good unbeatable in the air for me really dominant passing was good I know that's an area where I've said as well that I feel like he can be quite inconsistent and just doesn't add the right quality in his passing or picks the wrong pass at times today he was very PA and a short on the ball and that would be a good luck for him in terms of the future because you've got quanar who I would probably say slightly better in terms of passing um or his distribution all together but from what I saw today Kate still is a top level Defender there was a couple of moments where he saved us as well I remember in the first half brenford were always almost on the verge of scoring a goal and he provided crucial headed clearance to avoid that moment he did that in the second half as well so very dominant performance from him uh looks like he's going back to his best as well so good to see him playing with so much confidence so for me he gets a nine out of 10 so if you're watching live impressed with him so dominant and bromo tried to attack him on a few occasions didn't get any luck what impressed me was his passing but van you know what his passing levels like it's elite so it's something we're used to seeing over the years so it doesn't surprise us anymore but when you see it in in in the game he just like wow trademark passes diagonal balls from Van D to Salah did that on counter amount of times throughout the game really really good today really solid I think I'm just going to give Kate the edge in terms of rating because I think Kate from a defensive point we really stood out and made crucial clearances that for me just edges the score ahead of vany so van for me gets an 8.5 out of 10 Robertson was very good today I was very impressed with his performance today I noticed in the first half he inverted slightly so he felt like we formed a bit of a a back three and he looked very comfortable there what impressed me today the most and I've said this quite a few times prob the last 12 months is his relationship with Lis Diaz on the Left Flank it doesn't seem to be any sort of cohesion with each other and they haven't really understood each other's game or theyve movement on and off the ball today I saw traits there was a couple times where they were doing slick passes around each other one twos and it's a it's I'm so sure that an has identified and it's probably something they've worked on in training because in previous games because of their sort of lack of understanding in terms of how they play there's been a lot of breakdown on that Left Flank and then that's led to counterattacks coming through that side as well so today I think defensively he was very very good helped out van dijk at times when bro was attacking that channel and almost scored he had a shot in the first half which was saved by fleen and then the second one was a header which pretty much hit flecking straight in the face and almost knocked him out so yeah he could have gotten a score sheet today but that's not going to determine his score today so for me I'll give him an eight out of 10 grber for me another Stella performance from The Young midfielder um I'm very impressed with how he's is playing not hugely surprised because I I've watched him over the years at ax I know what he's capable of but it's good to see him doing it in a Liverpool shirt and I feel like he's really showing his potential now and long may it continue especially if we don't sign any new midfielders he's got a big role to play for this team going forward and I feel like he can make this role his own position I feel like he's that good just love the way he does those half turns and gets past players he carry the ball further forward today which he didn't do in the last game not as a negative but I just noticed that he was adding more to the game and try and have more of an impact in the final third quick passing here and there I was really impressed with overall game so for me he gets an 8.5 out of 10 the Midfield player alongside of mallister I thought had a much better performance uh than last week against against I thought he looked a bit lost wasn't involved in the game as much today oh he was so much better more tenacious aggressive in his sort distribution but even like getting stuck in his tackles really good performance from him today did some neat flicks as well which are you know quite impressive so no overall very very good game from M 10 so for today I'm going to give him an eight out of 10 I think ground just eded it for me in terms of the player rating there Salah another goal to his name another record broken he has overtaken Robbie F in the chart of alltime goal scorers so a phenomenal achievement for Muhammad Salah uh he looked really good today for me um there were to just to point negative there were a few times where I feel like he could have done better up against um Aya who's bit of a strange player a center back but he's been made into a makeshift left back but he's so fast on the balls u which is quite unbelievable um and also I feel like he really really improved his game today so guys just give me one talking about so from what I remember we were speaking about Muhammad Salah so let me GA my thoughts so in terms of his performance today I thought he was very positive in his sort of output there were some areas in his game I feel like maybe he could have improved on so for example taking on Aya a little bit more um a was a little bit dirty in terms of his approach to grabbed him to the ground quite a few times but generally I think he did well against the makeshift uh left back there and he was just better on the ball um the goal itself fantastic finish great control just lifts it over the keeper lovely finish two goals in two games and like I mentioned ear on he broke Robbie Fowler's alltime goal scoring record as a Liverpool player which is a great achievement so for me really really good performance from him today uh so in terms of his player rating I'm going to give him an 8.5 I was really impressed with his overall game today so BOS much better game today uh even in the first half I feel like there was some traits in his game where I thought maybe he could have done better in terms of picking the right pass and all that sort of stuff but in the second half he was more aggressive had a bit more purpose in his play driving with the ball pressing from the front as well and I feel like with this new number 10 role he has to have a mindset as a as a striker because technically he's a second Striker now so I feel like there has to be times in games where he needs to be a tad bit more selfish so I'll give you example there were a couple of times where he he drove with the ball applied a half yard touch and then had the opportunity to shoot but there's about three four occasions where he didn't shoot and he just slowed the game down a little bit and decided to find a pass to another teammate instinctively he would have shot so it could be a number of things so it's something that we're going to see in weeks to come it could be a lack of confidence because he didn't end the season very well last year for Liverpool and I feel like he's still F finding his form finding his rhythm again injuries hasn't helped with regard to that as well in the last few months it could be a tactical approach from an slot where he's probably asking to and the rest of the guys from the attacking third to be more sort of possession football pass around more like kill teams with passes rather than playing through balls hoping it gets to another player be a bit more precise and be sure that that ball is going to lead to something so it could be a complete tactical approach from an a slot or it could just be where saos is still adapting to this new role and he still trying to find the right balance of when to shoot and when not to shoot so it's up in there in terms of what you think so it could be due to form where he's still trying to find his form or it could be a approach so yeah let me know what you guys think but I think today he was really good um and long make continue if he plays in this manner I feel like he's really going to flourish in this team I think playing this more High possession football suits his ability because he's a technical player I feel like under young CL there no disrespect to our for gaffa he was playing two roles maybe three rols at once where he basically an upgrade to Henderson so in the Henderson role you end up doing more work off the ball rather than on the ball and I feel like that really hampered his development so he he play as a right side at eight but he'd be at right back at times or sometimes he'd be a right winger and then he'll still have to do his sentim responsibilities as well so so yeah so it's one of those things and i' probably say he's still trying to find that balance because there's traits in his game where he's over aggressive and he's you know running ragged he's running everywhere to try and make an impact needs to be a bit more calm a bit more measured use that energy to purpose rather than just doing it for the sake of it so I'm expecting a good season from szlag going forward um today I was very impressed with his overall performance so in terms of his rating I'm going to give him an eight out of 10 just like his shirt number there Lis Diaz what performance from Lucha I'm trying to think what did he do well what did he not do well I feel like he did everything the only thing that I probably say that he probably should have scored that shot in the second half which Flexin saved but it was still a good shot it was just a I say that was evenly match as well so I think his overall game was fantastic today uh really really good on the ball he wasn't overplaying because sometimes Diaz can overplay in terms of doing too much skills or trickery on the ball and from there on the the pass that is supposed to happen just phaded away today he was a little he was more calculated like I mentioned earlier when I was reviewing Robertson his relationship with the left back is improving he's finding the right passes he's cutting in field at the right time when when he needs to got a couple of free kicks as well I thought he was so good today his goal I lovely strike yes he's three on goal you're expecting him to score but there's been occasions where he's missed chances like that as well so I just feel like this is the season where he's going to cook I truly believe that and I hope once the window closes the benefit of that window closing will be that I don't need to hear anything about anthy Gordon again because that train that gravy train groovy train whatever you want to call is still rolling around within the fan base because fans are still saying oh we need to get golden we need to get golden why we don't need to get gon we've got GPO and Diaz who are good quality on that left wing I truly believe it because even when GPO came on it's like everyone the good thing about this team that I've noticed as well everyone knows their role there's no like great area they they come in and they do do what they need to do and that comes from the substitutes when they come on they know exactly what they need to do GPO left off what Diaz was trying to do and almost scored himself so look I was very impressed with in terms of how he played overall um so for me phenomenal performance what can I give him as a rating I will give him I wouldn't say it's a perfect performance but it was a phenomenal performance so I'm going to give him a 9.5 out of 10 and the final play in the St lineup J I think J had a decent game I feel like he wasn't involved as much as I would have liked him to have been obviously he provided assist for Diaz which I thought was these players make things look very easy but the way he dribbled with the ball the way he Ed his through ball he waited for Diaz to make that run before he just fed it through because sometimes what players do they'll make that run and they expect that player to just go but he waited he wanted to make sure that the pass that I'm going to apply right now is going to find Diaz and that's what he did cuz he was driving with full speed with on with the ball and in the last step he calculated and then boom lovely through ball and Diaz did his thing in the end so that was a great moment there but I I feel like we see a bit more from J in terms of the build up play u getting involved a lot more in terms of the final third and be a bit more braver inside the box but look I'm so pleased that he's injured free right now and I hopefully if he stays like this yeah we're going to score a lot of goals because the balance between Salah Diaz and J it's it fits perfectly it's a great balance they can all interchange as well especially J he shifted over to the left quite a few times and Diaz came in for so I feel like it's going to be very impactful in terms of how the team plays going forward so for me I'm going to give him an eight out of 10 just try to see if my ratings are I'll stick with my so let me know what you guys think in terms of the ratings uh have I given a lower rating to some players or I've gone a bit trigger happen giving someone a bit too much of a higher rating drop a comment let me know obviously go out saying who the man of the match is right now and it is how don't make there we go Lis Diaz he is my man of the mat so yeah drop comment let me know what you guys think now in terms of the subs we can quickly speak about them as well not a lot of them played huge amount of minutes but it's custom me to do it so we'll speak about now so terms of Subs we have uh G that came in for Lis Diaz there you go and then we have Nunes came on for J and then we also have Corner Bradley coming on for on Arnold and then ja Elliot coming on for Muhammad Salah and then the final sub was Endo on for Graber okay there you go okay let's start with GPO I definitely feel like he came on and had a very positive impact um kind mention well like what I mentioned earlier one in terms of he knew his role when he came on and he was very direct very quick on the ball almost scored played a fun shot that hit the crossbar so he's having a good impact feel like he's still do more get involved in the game a lot more but when you have like a 10 15 20 minute bracket very hard to have an impa unless you know score or anything to that nature so he'll be getting a lot of game time this season so hopefully he continues to have this mentality of giving his all for the team we never called upon and I think he does he's a smart intelligent player I think he will understand his role in this in the team he will get a lot of game time we've got so many games coming up this is just start of the season it's only um our second game of the league and of the season we're going to play in Cup competitions Champions League so there's a lot of games coming up so he will play an important role in terms of our cup campaigns so yeah looking forward to how he does this season so for me I'm going to give him a seven out of 10 for his rating um Dar Nunes I wasn't hugely impressed if I'm being honest guys um just some f or thought I don't think he suits slot ball if I'm being brutally honest I don't think he has the intelligence in terms of the know how when to move and when to attack the channels his biggest problem is staying on side you know he he was offside on one or two occasions when he came on as well and to have a player that's known to be chaotic I don't think it aligns with slot slots Type of Way playing football which is calm measured collected it doesn't align with Nunes as a character and his way of playing football so I don't know I feel like he's going to be used more of an impact player rather than a starter this season obviously if there's injuries then he'll probably start games but I don't think slot sees him as his goto guy I think J is the one that he really has high hopes for and look tou I'm not trying to jinx anything but if J wasn't available for game for whatever reason I think GP will start ahead of D Nunes that that is the rate the ranking I see with the strikers right now in the squad so I don't think Hest slots in favor of having DAV Nunes but at the same time there's not much he can do with the player because he doesn't really call the shots when it comes to transfers that's just me being brutally honest and that's the fact it's reality so so in of his performance today I think it belowa he had a couple of chances where maybe he should have done better I remember that header I think cross with Conor Bradley just didn't play any contact whatsoever May was on side or not I can't remember now but um so yeah I didn't think he had a good good performance so ma s har I'm GNA give him a five out of 10 I didn't think he was that good uh Bradley came on oh why have I not put on Bradley put Bradley let me get him on the screen first and then we can discuss him so so yeah Connor Bradley I think he came on and was really good and he was good last week against very positive in his impact whether it's from a defensive or an attacking point of view so yeah I was really pleased with how he performed today so for me he gets six out of 10 actually a bit more High than I think 6.5 out of 10 seems about right I don't think it was as impactful as Gap I think gatp was a bit more direct and had a bit more purpose whereas Conor Bradley was doing end to end stuff um but yeah I think Gap just edges him slightly in terms of the next player Harve Ott he didn't really have much time to have an impact I think he came on on the 82nd 83rd minute so probably played about 10 minutes uh took over silence position in the right wing looked right they like he was pressing which is really good look seem really energetic in that role I do feel like that is going to be the position he will play this season more than the number 10 role I know a lot of fans are saying you know he looks like a natural 10 which I feel like he does because he's he's got a very interesting skill set in terms of his passing he's got that killer instin in terms of the final ball so he will be very sort of impactful in terms of how he plays but I feel like the way Muhammad Salah is playing right now he's not playing like out and out window Go attacking the by line he's coming in for being a bit more of a creative player so I feel like Elliot can learn that sort of type of game from Salah and he can definitely be an understudy for Salah so that might be the club's thinking well we don't need a right wing we've got Elliot to be the underst study but then there's other gaps then who's the backup for saos life because on paper you say Jones but then who's the back up for our number six so it's like a merry go around like when you shift one player to another there's gaps so we don't have enough um players in the squad in my opinion but back to OT I think he had a decent impact when he came on not enough to have a good score so I'll just give him a six out of 10 and Endo he Lally claim one for about five minutes don't remember him touching the ball to be brutely honest so I'll just give him an average score and I'll give him a six um out of 10 as well so so yeah that is the rating of the subs um yeah a comment let me know what you guys think and that is it for today guys thank you so much
