HEAT ADVISORY IN EFFECT FOR ANOTHER HALF HOUR OR SO BUT THE SEVERE THREAT IS ANOTHER THING WE'RE WATCHING LATER THIS EVENING. DOES NOT LOOK LIKE A TERRIBLY HIGH THREAT BUT WE ARE TRACKING FORMS TO THE WEST WHICH I WILL SHOW YOU ON RADAR IN JUST A SECOND. LINGERING SHOWERS AND STORMS WEST OF THE AREA TOMORROW. FRIDAY, LIGHT SHOWERS IN THE FORECAST. FOR THE WEEKEND, SATURDAY WILL HAVE THE BEST CHANCE FOR STORMS THE LABOR DAY IS LOOKING GREAT. AS WE HEAD INTO EARLY NEXT WEEK WE WILL SEE THE BEST WEATHER WE HAVE SEEN SINCE LAST WEEK. IT FELT FALL LIKE. HERE ARE THE STORMS WE ARE TALKING ABOUT ACROSS WESTERN MARYLAND. THIS ENERGY IS SLOWLY MOVING EAST SO WE WILL PAY ATTENTION TO WASHINGTON COUNTY, FREDERICK, MONTGOMERY, MAYBE EVEN HOWARD AS THESE MOVE CLOSER. STORMS DROPPING IN FROM PENNSYLVANIA SO WE WILL SEE IF THESE TRY TO MAKE THEIR WAY SOUTHWARD AND GRAYS NORTHEAST MARYLAND AS WE MOVE INTO LATER ON TONIGHT. THEY SHOULD WEAKEN AS THEY GET HERE BUT WE WILL WATCH THAT CAREFULLY THE NEXT TWO HOURS. 96 AT THE INNER HARBOR, FEELING LIKE OVER 100 DEGREES FOR MANY LOCATIONS SO IT WILL BE A STUFFY EVENING IF YOU ARE HEADING OUT. IF WE DO GET ANY RAIN, IT WILL BE AROUND AT 9:00 OR 10:00 IF WE SEE ANY STORMS AT ALL. EARLY TOMORROW MORNING, SKIES WILL BE MOSTLY CLOUDY WITH TEMPERATURES IN THE MID-70s. THE AREA WE ARE FOCUSING ON IS WESTERN MARYLAND THROUGH THE CENTRAL PORTION OF THE STATE INTO THE UPPER EASTERN SHORE AND THE SLIGHT RISK AREA, MARGINAL RISK JUST OFF TO THE WEST. STORMS ON THURSDAY WILL TRACK THEIR WAY INTO THE REGION. FUTURE CAST SHOWS STORMS COMING FROM TWO DIFFERENT DIRECTIONS. WE WILL BE WATCHING THAT AFTER MIDNIGHT TONIGHT. TOMORROW AFTERNOON SHOWERS AND STORMS MAY TRY TO CREEP CLOSER TO THE REGION BUT FOR FRIDAY, TEMPERATURES WILL BE AROUND 80 DEGREES WITH SCATTERED SHOWERS IN THE FORECAST. HIGH STORM CHANCES ON SATURDAY. SUNDAY AND MONDAY, THINGS DRY OUT ACROSS THE AREA. CECIL COUNTY, LOW 70s OVERNIGHT AND HIGHS TOMORROW AFTERNOON TOPPING OUT IN THE LOW 80s. 10 TO 15 DEGREES COOLER THAN WE SAW THIS AFTERNOON.
