and Dot do dot do dot dot dot in his ass the movie opens up and we see Terry living his best life you know he just rid his bike on this beautiful day until we see this police car pull up behind him now Terry has his earphones in so he can't hear the police car behind him y' tell me why this officer hit the back of Terry bike causing him to fly off and hit the ground and to make it worse the officer who hit him puts him under arrest and makes up a lie that Terry was leading him on the chase outs Bridge 102 purs I never even saw you officer I would have stopped arms out arms out like a [ __ ] airplane we found out that Terry served in Iraq one of the officers find something in Terry's bag and gives him the option of getting a k9 to sniff search it or letting the officer search it on his own Terry was initially against the officer searching his bag but eventually agreed to it when they began searching the bag they find $30,000 of cash he says that he was going to bail out his cousin and that 10,000 of it was for bail and the rest was for getting a truck to haul boats the officers asked why his cousin was in jail he says that it was for possession of weed the officer said that they'll let him go with a warning and I'm thinking okay Bet everything should be cool but no because the officers start to get on that bull scampy they tell Terry that they're going to be keeping the money because they believe that it's drug currency we're going to hold on to this money we've concluded from our investigation that this is drug currency no investigation man what investigation did they complete cuz that's what I want to know I want to I want to know that okay I really want to know that because Terry says that he got the money from selling his car and his steak at a Chinese restaurant but these officers clearly don't care they just trying to take this man money they say that they're going to send him a letter in the mail saying that he'll be sued for the money and if he ansers to the charges and fights for the money then they'll come after him with an arrest warrant and put him in jail but if he chooses to answer then they win by default and he'll never hear from them again and if you ask me both of these scenarios sound pretty bad like ain't no good options this all bad anyways they uncuff him and send him on his way so Terry heads to the courthouse the clerk notices that he has injuries and offers a colleague of his that happens to be a chiropractor and he was seeming really helpful at first until Terry says that it was an officer who hit him get a plate uh it was the cops they took my cash all of it I was on my way here that's a seizure notice I can't help you there when he asked about his cousin the clerk says that they are transferring all inmates because they are renovated Terry says that he needs to make bail but then the clerk questions him about his ability to pay when he ain't got no money help me out here you've come to post bail without any money Terry meets another clerk named Summer she takes him to a nearby restaurant she said that what the officers did to him was called a civil asset for it's called civil asset forfeiture and it's legal well it's a law she asked for his cousin's name and what he's in for his cousin's name is Mike and as Terry stated previously he's in for drug possession Terry also adds that Mike got into some trouble when he ended up as a corroborating witness on a capital murder charge and the dude he helped put away was pretty high up in the game and if Mike ends up in the state facility then let's just say d ain't going to be pretty summer says that she'll try to help and ask for his number but he declines so why are you helping me well it's pretty clear you need it got a number in case I turn something up yeah but I don't really give it out I'll check back she tried to be slit with it too girl this man trying to get his cousin out of jail and she want to flirt he calls his former business partner Mr Lou and ask him for money Mr Lou tells him to text a guy named Ken and give him details we cut to the next day and Terry goes to the police station to file a police report and this officer seems pretty helpful and athetic at first but once Terry mentions that it was a fellow officer that hit him all that kind and empathetic [ __ ] go out the window because she stops taking info and goes to tell another officer who is a complete [ __ ] and it turns into a mess um I didn't get his badge number but his last name is mar first initial e uh and there go suspect number two pardon me just a minute sir you're going to need to leave Mr uh Richmond yes sir I was briefed on this matter yesterday and fled an officer of the law evaded arrest suspicion of conspiracy you've been treated with more than due respect but right now you're facing felony charges now currently and under false pretenses you are in a secure area so I'm going to ask you if you'd be so kind as to cut off your recording device and exit my station yeah I at least see my cousin you can [ __ ] right off Terry tries to offer proof that the money is legit and only insist on getting back 10K to get his cousin released the chief says that if he comes back Monday then he can see his cousin so we cut to Monday morning and Terry shows up but his cousin is nowhere in sight because the chief says that they agreed to meet at 9:00 a.m. but the current time is 9:03 a.m. bro so Terry hops on his bike and chases the bus down to talk to Mike hey Mike yo yo Terry hey Mike Terry mik [ __ ] is you doing man I'm getting you out [ __ ] this a jailbreak I'm posting B now that's some dedication right there I ain't going to lie we cut to Terry calling Mr Lou and Lou informs him that the police have raided his place he heads to the courthouse to find Summer she says that something isn't right and the only way that Terry can get Mike out is the 10K we cut to the corrupted police station and the officers get more info on Terry like that he's a MC map instructor and none of them know what that is I don't even know what that is I had to Google it but the chief finds out the hard way when Terry pulls up to the station and the chief goes to talk with him man I thought we had a deal well that was the point of what misleading you Chief you want to honor that deal or do I got to transition in here some distance between you let's not do that hey hey hey go on now it's just a dust safety that weapon open the door we'll handle it we got it sit down after Terry disarms them he gets them to get his money out of the bat after he gets the officer to get his money he sets up a plan for the officer to pretend like everything has been handled and Terry acts like he's being taken away and this plan works and Terry ends up getting away and heads to the courthouse with the money to free his cousin now mind you the cops have since put a call out for his arrest by now so time is definitely not on his side while he's waiting for the clerk to finish counting the money and getting the paperwork ready and sure enough the cops burst in and they tase him we [ __ ] go the chief I said give me your hand don't hurt him give me your [ __ ] now we see Terry in the car with the chief and he's pretty much talking about how the law enforcement in town is basically going broke like we supposed to care I saw a [ __ ] ton of cash and enough Weaponry to support a rifle platoon that cash is our operating budget for the next two quarters if that say they're going to issue bonds but they never do call up our ass for police reform but they won't fund it only we got to find our own money we got to turn a profit I'm here to tell you right now we don't care let me let me we don't care then things take a strange turn when they let Terry out and give him back $26,000 they then drop a bomb that on his way to his new location that his cousin was stabbed up pretty bad and Terry is obviously angered by this the officer gives him the ultimatum to either take the money and leave town or stay and have things get even more uglier after the officers leave we cut to Terry at the hospital and his cousin Mike unfortunately succumbed to his injuries and passed away we didn't cut to Terry getting a ride from Summer She hands him some case records with bails that don't match schedule but Terry ain't trying to hear none of that oh no this is they're case records that don't at all match up with the bail SK I don't care Su drops him off and we cut to her at home and she hears someone in her house she goes to look in the bathroom and sees a needle in the sink and then she checks her arm and notices that she's been shot up with some drugs and like anyone in this situation she starts panicking and picks up the phone and calls Terry who just bought a truck and heads to her she's afraid to go to the hospital and get medical help because she believes that the officers will make it look like she drugged herself that's when we find out that she was once married with a kid and her husband filed for a divorce because she was charged with Grand Theft which caused her to lose custody now we see summer heading to work and she gets hit with a surprise drug test and she already know what's going to happen we cut to Terry driving out and he is spotted by a cop now remember he agreed to get out of town with the money and never come back and he would have got away with it too if it wasn't for summer ass calling him back so the punk ass officers start harassing Terry and Terry defends himself what's alarm you'll never see me again that conversation was Happ Chief handed you win Lotto ticket and you just tore it up God [Music] after Terry gets away we cut to Summer sneak into her kid school when the cops pull up on her we cut back to Terry ditching his truck when he gets a call from Summer she says that the officer told her to leave town and to stay away from him he says that he has a place where they can meet up now we see summer inside of a Chinese restaurant which happened to be the restaurant that Terry once had partnership in we also find out that one of the bullets hit Terry oh my God are you shock yeah they're trying to find out why the town is manipulating defendant jail time holding them for 90 days hike and bail the individual acts aren't necessarily illegal judge can double your fine for tracking mud on his floor so he's in on it if anything he's pushing back okay so we get kinectic find out what he's pushing against we over the Town Line now we see them trading out cars and heading back to town they pull up on a clerk whose name is Elliott and ask for help but he ain't no help in fact he a snitch he snitches on them to the judge and we find this out when Terry and summer pull up on the judge but fortunately for them he gives them some useful information I'll talk there was no money for him to comply so he goes out gets his own did 100,000 and forfeitures his first month he got you in on it me and every other taxpayer that money flows back into debt service payroll public works that's Christmas lights in December fireworks on the 4th of July and a nice little old tax cut on hard drives at the courthouse their dash cam videos it's part of the settlement we stored their footage they can't access it on their own but you can only if it's deemed evidentiary so now with the information that there's evidence of the crimes on hard drives they head to the basement of the courthouse while they're down there they noticed that someone had started a fire in an attempt to destroy all the evidence but Terry and summer managed to snatch up some hard drives and everything is going good until summer says that she has to get something up top and I already knew that things were about to go left and they did Terry goes to start the car and summer goes and gets some bads of evidence and ends up getting her ass caught and taken so once again Terry has to go to her rescue I'm really getting tired of Summer she got too much baggage and she make bad choices but I digress Terry hunts down one of the officers and takes him as collateral for summer he he [ __ ] go so let not waste any [ __ ] time we didn't cut to the next day and Terry gives the chief a call and uses the officer he tookes as a distraction to sneak to the police station it's here where we find out that the lady officer from earlier is who Terry thinks is a good friend of Summer who's been giving her information Terry hands her the flash drive because he thought that she was cool people but no because she holds him at gunpoint and takes him outside where she gives the other officers the flash drives and we find out that the officers have druged summer and are about to kill Terry when this other officer steps in and they begin to argue this ends with the officer getting shot for putting a hole in this motherfucker's chest do not Point your weapon at me S also turns out that the lady officer isn't all bad because she lets Terry run off to the side and he go full John Wick call it out do not [ __ ] fire he hops in the car that they had summer in and grabs the other officer who was helping them and they drive off and they engage in the Chase and in a surprising turn of events they hear on the radio that they are being escorted to the hospital 102 we got a straight shot 1059 what's a 1059 that's a escort so it looks as though the lady officer made the call I think she viewed the flash drives and saw how corrupt the chief was so she runs her car into him and sends another officer to escort Terry sum and the officer to the hospital where they get help and the chief gets arrested on the way Chief but I need to see your hands and C okay so let's hop into this wrapup I thought it was a cool movie it was kind of a slowburn you know I wish it had a little more action I thought it would be one of those non-stop action thrillers from the trailer but this was a little more dialogue story based but I was okay with that because I enjoyed the story of this black man fighting a corrupt police system the acting was great and I also enjoyed the
