gaffa 4-2 win here at home against AFC F what a comeback yeah I'm really pleased obviously to to be in that position at half time and come back and obviously win the game score four goals um but it was a real team performance and you know when you get negativity that you did in the game conceding a couple of goals it's a strong mindset to to accept that we've conceded a poor goal and and won a penalty um but to turn it around in that manner is really you know I'm really pleased with the lads it shows there's a there's an inner strength and an inner togetherness that we we're trying to create character is the obvious word that Springs to mind just talk about the character of The Lads today well um half time half time was good um you know you you you there's a feeling of energy in a in a dress room and that could be good energy bad energy and today half time there wasn't 1 ooun of negative energy and you know it's something that you know we're big on we try to to create belief in the group and and understand that you know it's it's a it's a squad game and that you got the opportunity to make five changes and everyone's needed and you felt in the dress room that there was a a real belief in in what we were trying to do and two goals didn't set us back how important was that first one the first one back just before the halftime break yeah it's always massive that first goal you know the game hasn't changed it's you know you get that one and you start thinking right when's the next one coming obviously puts them on the back seat and goals change games obviously so um it put us in a good mindset going into halftime and obviously um it's nice the the goal scorers to to celebrate but it was a real team effort yeah Chris McGuire obviously coming straight Off the Bench and I think it might have been his first touch where he scored that goal um yeah what a decision from from you no I mean Max you know his quality you know what he's going to give you he's a goal threat when he's comes on the pitch and you know we we've had the conversation from Ma you know he's a he's a great age he's got great experience he's good in the group and he he wants to be on the pitch all the time and you know that as a manager coach that's what you want all your players to be like and when he's got that ability if it's for a moment to come and contribute that he did it's fantastic and you know we've been he's been really acceptant to the the situation of of being uh a player that is's big for us and if he can keep producing moments like that then we're going to we're going to have a great season and a word on Paul mum who's now up and running with two he's up and running for the season Y Maas Macker he's a he's a goal hungry Guy and um it's uh you know we've we've found a way to keep giving him opportunities in front of goal um but it's up to him to to put him in the back in net and you know I think um when you've got that sort of power in your team you know every every club and team wants a player of that that type so um you know obviously being with us is is the most important thing and and the fact is his mentality to be with us and his performance today was was a huge one and you know again it's a contributing to a a really good team and and Club performance yeah obviously a disappointing side to the match today is is Ludy being sent off do you have any thoughts on the two separate incidents no other than you know um there was a lot of yellow cards first half and that is the game these days and you know we need to have a squad that can can manage you know over the course of a season you know losing players through sending offs and and suspensions and you know potentially injuries so um um you know it's some we ride and obviously ludia learned from it um not ideal obviously um but it Miss a game of football and and you know we'd be a weaker Squad because of it yeah you've said to me previously about how we want to turn our home form into our home into a fortress we've got the opportunity to do that with a quick turnaround on Tuesday night where we host Solly Hall Ms how good is this to sort of try and use this to build off of well it's our first home game of the season everybody wants to get off to a good start um we're no different um and all that's done is put us in a position where we're at home we feel confident um but we know that Soo was a tough test they come with a game plan that' be well organized and and you know we test us and we've just got to be mentally ready and and obviously well organized enough to to deal with that and and make our performance worthwhile to to win a game of football brilliant congratulations thank you Ricky
