and Co John Lucas uh for the Houston roets has definitely been and when would you say your uncle kind of started when I was younger like when I was really young I mean ever since I was born he's been that that guidance for me in this in this path for sure coming in on a team that's got a lot of years of basketball has is it being a Freshman coming into a deep team like this that has a lot of experience for me I think it's the best thing that could have happened because my first year I get to play with a lot of older guys more experienced guys that have been been here and played here before or played at this level before um kind of kind of asking questions and thinking their brains about uh this level and this experience so has been good is there one particular player that's helped you more or is it just a community by yeah probably armo he's been guidance for me for sure how is it coming in with Elliott and do you'all have a relationship you know off camera it looks like y'all do from social media how's y''s relationship uh that's my that's one of my best friends for sure but uh at first it wasn't cuz we played against each other National Championship but yeah ever since we got here we build a great bond for sure how do you like chap Le so far I love it I feel like yeah there's no other place to be for sure is the tradition does it wue any you know coming up you seen all these big time jerseys and Raptors every day I walk in the gym it's always mesmerizing to see that I get to practice in here every day like it's definitely crazy what type of player is Carolina getting from Zaden um a player that that is going to speak his mind a player that's going to bring great energy to the court whether he's playing or is on the bench um wherever a player wherever is going to play wherever coach needs me coach needs me to be how important is you to get Carolina back to the elite level that they should be at it's important I mean coming as a freshman watching what they did last year they they didn't have a terrible season last year but it wasn't the best season for Carolina so definitely having chip on my shoulder and and definitely helping the team gets back to a national
