Introduction ladies and gentlemen welcome to the final edition of the regular season back yourself podcast round 27 of the NRL go the [ __ ] Tigers don't cheer for them now it's going to be a very very special episode of the backy self podcast sign off a lot of teams we have eight teams to sign off seven of them we already well at least we think we know unless there's a draw seven of those idiots we already know that they will be eliminated so we'll be taking extra minute sance for them as the Pod progresses thank you for your service Tigers eels Sals Titans Warriors yukon's already packed it up so that's fine Raiders dragons possibly Knights possibly Dolphins did I miss anyone out of the all the teams you say Broncos I purposely left them out those guyss don't get a salute from me but thank you for the ups the the highs the lows the comical moments throughout the season us and all the loyal pod listeners you know particularly South they will be missed severely now in saying that obviously we'll be looking ahead next week to some big time showdowns and we thought we'd get a lot of action in lineups come Tuesday morning but in my recollection Chris of all the last round information or movement that has happened in the last five or six years this was probably the most dead week yeah in terms of everyone's trying for literally no reason in saying that welcome Chris I know you feel in a certain type of way about a lot of these teams and you got your Tigers J on M how you feeling with the final round of the reg a dead last round at least like I'd rather see quitters well you see quitters Saturday 3 p.m. you're going to see quitters I mean I don't know if they're going to quit or not but like but the beauty is the quitters are playing each other yeah but like I Storm storm or are Melbourne stor hosting the Brisbane Broncos at s stadium with their obviously they have a sickeningly good record up there in sop Mona Harry Grant all these players are Queensland local boys and obviously they have a lot of big game experience playing state of origin deciders game one game two they've been in that building plenty of times and they've come around with many big wins but obviously the stakes are very very very low in this one after the Broncos got their ass torn by the fins last week Fins Up shout out to upset alert Chris was all over it um seems like the rest of the world wasn't and now obviously after I call out Kevy Walters and say pack it up get this G out of here I was met with probably 50/50 wave of yeah mate you're right and no mate you don't know anything we had two injuries and that's why we came 14th with this roster so H saying that team are trying and Broncos are not trying Kon Stags P literally walls playing and one other inbred are not playing this game replaced by idiots I think Xavier Willis's out as well after his Tre he got suspended treacherous Behavior by hitting raystone so here's out so you subtract four of the best players of the team that got raped by Dolphins 40 to six when they had an incentive to try so obviously my rationale I think these CS are going to lose 70 n and and when Broncos quit like it goes from bad to ugly and then it goes from ugly to hideous and a few of their recent performances aka the Titans game last week the first 10 minutes of the power game to me reminiscent of their wooden spoon year where like they were just running out there and just F on the floor like this in front of their opposition and it's one thing to lose a game and I think like this was the main point I was trying to make to the Broncos fans on Tik Tok it's one thing to lose and it's one thing to fall down the ladder maybe you narrowly missed the eight then I'll be a little bit more receptive of hey look we've had this many injuries Adam Reynolds has missed a bunch of time blah blah blah but when your favorite to win a game by seven points and you lose 40 to six and it never ever looked close past the first hit up of the game that's when I like start [ __ ] bringing my pitch fork out and telling GS to get the [ __ ] out so in that ways these guns packed it up last week Melbourne like packed it up to Cowboys and are actually going to fire up to kill these gunts like I can't Envision any scenario that these GTS aren't down 50 N halftime so Chris tell me why I'm wrong and if I'm wrong and how you are 14th they have their Buy and they play in the last round I would say get all of your money and bet against them because these CS like obviously they're going to go on their buy already pretty much the season and ending it on the sidelines I hope you get your body right for next year Jack because they're going to need you now in saying that the Sydney roosters with a multitude of injuries Sam Walker is out so the whole team is just going to fall go to a and z and just fall on the ground at the at the site of South Sydney rabitos running out there because they don't have Walker their average points per game goes from 592 to three because of the absence of Sam Walker now in addition to that obviously Victor Radley out with a shoulder injury two post tired so he's just sitting out and also War H is also out of this one due to his own stupidity and Brandon Smith obviously the news comes out it is the ACL injury for him as well so a little bit of an underman roosters team compared to normal but still obviously both enough talent that you would expect them to score more than 10 points past South Sydney now Robo this is probably the first game of the round where the Intrigue built as the days went on from Sunday of what will Robo do with this fixture will he rest his players will he not rest his players is there really a difference between going to penth and going to Melbourne in week one of the finals we argued in the review you're going to get killed either way so at least go and like be physically fresh and go and get killed as opposed to like in a game stint on the job he's probably a better 58 than kogo so like that's how funny and obviously K's had a absolutely cracking season but Wayne for whatever reason has decided it's not your day it's not your night and we're going to sit you out and we're going to put in Old mate sha o solivan who's probably a bit more of a steady head uh and obviously Crossland's mid as well so the halves are mid on both sides the centers are gone on both sides the fullbacks are gone on both sides and the forward pack you probably lean the Newcastle Knights purely just because of injury I mean ifle if uh Gilbert and F were playing this one maybe I think Chris we will be leaning in a different direction but the CCI boys P Paul Adam Elliot my boy friselle I think there's enough experience and enough strike power obviously the Dolphins both experience with uh the bramage sisters and FIS KUSI and I like those Melbourne boys have been in some massive games over the years but I just think if this played in redcliff simply put if this played in redcliff I'd probably take the Dolphins but at McDonald Jones Stadium at a Sunday afternoon you I don't want to bet against Newcastle I think they've
