SAM BURGESS current Warrington coach BRILLIANT comments for ALL Wire fans coming from SAM

s Burgers folks for those that don't know him is the current coach at Warrington at the wire there my team just down the road here on the rugby league he an next Great Britain International played for England too and also played rugby union for England bath and England I think it was over the last few years he's been playing he's trading that there Australia as a player a decorated player did really really well over there and LLY as an assistant coach had a bit of a falling out in that there o came over here to Warrington and totally revitalized the club done a fantastic job job week week and a half ago these rumors they may extend his contract for a year they're asking him to they talking about it but it was up to Sam uh we know he's got his uh young girlfriend overa and a young child but he's also got family in Australia plus he's loved them and a year now loves the climate over there loves the people loves everything about it and his dream job is probably an Australian rugby league job uh coaching as the main coach for an RL team over there but for all his love and his Tam M he has always said you know that the pull is back over there and I thought maybe they wouldn't he wouldn't extend he did he extended at the end I thought great and the things I've read since have all been positive I think he's the kind of guy that when he makes up his mind to do something he does something by that if he makes up his mind to put his name to a contract I think he honors it and that's a breath of fresh air in my game in the Ruby League game over the last few years so many people come over here get contract or extend contracts then change the mind and go uh the lord of the sun and the lord of the dollar takes them away and I just hate it when someone pens a contract and doesn't see it through I've always thought I thought more recently that Sam would and I put did a piece in about a week ago saying I'm glad he's extended and let's just hope he does more um I wrote for all rugby league isn't the big big game over here it is in Australia it's the number one sport in Australia believe it or not it's nowhere near number one sports here um I wrote I don't think he'll see fans the like of the fans he'll get at the hello Jones back over in Australia we're more vocal much more vocal uh the team means everything to us it's a way life we love them we've always gotten behind them and I thought he won't get that in us and I'm pretty sure I'm right about that many those players come over and say it's just fantastic playing in front of the crowds over there compared to back home because back home they're a lot quieter in many many occasions the bigger but the quiet were much more vocal over here anyway reading something today where he's saying to somebody he's on a podcast with old Eddie Eddie emings used to say three years I am going to go back over there but you know my partner is loving it over here we're loving warington they've accepted us I like the town I like the people how could he not we Sal of the earth man in between uh Manchester and Liverpool we've got to be aren't we unbelievable we are if you can't get on with us you'll get on with nobody Sam don't worry about that but yeah says he loves it over here loves the people loves the town um and if the job isn't finished after three years who knows he might Del longer and I thought that's music to me is I'd love him to do five or six and I think he's the kind of guy that just might do that as long as he's having some success and he's feeling wanted I honestly believe he may stay build something and then go back over there and then he can command any club or any F wants over there if he does it a good style then he'll be in massive demand in Australia massive demand and many of the coaches over there are getting of an age now where the close to retirement um I think he could write his own paycheck over there um but Sam absolutely great news so I'm hoping not only he's going to do three he might put another couple years on top that and do four five or six great for the way the way it's looking absolutely great well done Sam well done Sam love it
