great game on this public holiday all three at the great game we are ready the rock and roll hey guys how you going down big house sport we are here ready to absolutely smack it down as the can Bulldogs take on the pount eels in a game that I hope is really close and I hope is really good I have all the belief in the world uh that uh you know the dogs have obviously definitely improved on what they've done before and the eels look like they've improved as well based off of the early part of the Season uh so hopefully this is going to be a really really good game here to watch here on this public holiday hope you guys are enjoying yourselves and are ready to absolutely slap it down the game does start at 400 p.m. guys we still got a little bit of time here so we're going to go through the team list obviously give you my prediction whatnot and then we'll get into the chat and we'll see what you guys are saying so obviously guys hit that Thumbs Up Button subscribe if you are new around here and let's get into it so the can Bulldogs they come to this game in 11th position whilst the Paramount eels com this game in 14th position with the dogs at $250 under $250 Underdog sorry and the eels at $168 favorites and this is at a core stadium in Sydney so it is a dogs home game now the dog is here there in Jake Turpin Matt Burton and Steven Kon obviously coming back there from origin with Drew Hudson Harry Hayes and Josh ad car unfortunately going out the fullback is Conor Tracy with the Wingers being Jacob kirz and Blake Wilson centers of Bronson cherry and Stephen Kon who is also the captain go to the 5'8 Matt Burton with the halfback being Toby Sexton the front forwards of Max King and Samuel Hughes with the number nine being Reed man go to back row Jacob Preston and jam salmon with the 13 being Bailey Haywood he's actually just come into the team because on The Interchange kurtman was originally meant to be the 13 but bayy Haywood has comeing in and is starting interchange kurtman Josh Karan Curtis Marin and lioy hooy with the 18th man replacement being Jake Turpin this dogs team is pretty much full strength to the most to to what you'd expect besides obviously the loss there of Josh ader car but obviously they've decided to uh to go with Toby sex in the last couple of weeks over Drew Hutson so very happy for my boy there very happy that he's doing well down there at the dog dog wolf wolf and let's see if the dogs can get it up here today now the eels there ins Jermaine hopgood and Joey lusik with the outs being B Simonson and M civo the fullback is Clint gson who is the captain with the Wingers being blae tongi and sha Russell now blae Tang is actually shifted from a center to the wing so uh yeah it's going to be interesting to see how Blaze does go there I don't think he's actually been the wings so far he's been the fullback he's been the halves uh centers and now he's on the wing so he's just playing everywhere man he is an everywhere man centers of Will penini and dejan AI comes into to the team as well 58 is Dylan Brown with the halfback being Mitchell Moses you go to the front row R Campbell Gillard and W M Greg who's also coming in off the bench with Brandon hands as the starting hooker you go to the back row Campell toongi and Bryce cartright with Jermaine hopg good coming back in from origin to play in the lock interchange wise Junior bolock goes to the bench joea sha Lane and Joey lusik with the 18th minute placement dropping out of the reserves being a makah hessi Mak to this Hill's team obviously a lot healthier than it has been uh in the early parts of this season with the likes of Mitchell mes there and Gau pushing Brown back into into his rightful spot there of the 58 position uh we all very clearly could see that he wasn't playing well in the halfback rle he's not that kind of player he definitely is a 58 and they obviously showed some real good stuff last week when they took down the sharies uh even though the sharies were losing a couple of their own players uh and I think that yesterday or or Saturday proved that McKinnis and and Hines or McKinnis specifically was very important to that sharks team the E still did still come away with the win there 3422 over a good shaky team so yeah you know the the eels are a lot better than they have been obviously people will still have that kind of weird thought process of well it's still the eels we don't really know what to make of them just yet and they'll also be saying well they haven't been so good this season they've had that one good game they had an awful game against the rabbits a couple of weeks ago so you know let's just see if the Moes effect does carry on into another week against the dogs team that you know has been firing well like they've been up and down the doggies have been up and down that's the reason why they're still in 11th position um they are a lot better than previous years that's for sure still a lot to work on and obviously you know well to be fair the knights did play pretty well yesterday against the storm and we're quite unlucky in the end actually I think there was a four pass there that unfortunately uh did uh help the storm to win that game there but welcome to Melbourne you know but overall I think the doggies definitely have improved so I don't really know how how to tip this one I I think I do obviously want to lean with the the fact that the eels did obviously get M back and they looked really really good attacking wise with him defensively they still given up points though and the thing is right when you go into the ladder here uh the dogs are the second best defense in the league I'm pretty certain uh against they've given up 193 points uh or as we currently speak as we currently speak they they have the best defense in the competition but if they give up more than seven points here today then the Panthers will go back into first the Panthers have obviously played that extra game so um yeah we'll obviously see how that one pans out there who do I tip here today man I do get a little bit of a a gut feeling and a Vibe the doggies may get it I do I do get a bit of a Vibe for it yeah I'm going to tip him I'm going to tip the doggies here today I'm not confident I'm not confident in this game whatsoever I think it will just come down to who plays better on the day I don't think the the dogs attack is anything to really go crazy for I think thing that um that gets for me is the defense wins premierships and and the dogs aren't even close to win the Premiership but they they're doing the right processes and putting in the right kind of um they're building the right foundations and platform for future right and the defense is where it all starts and that's why I probably lean towards them here today with their solid defensive structure with camon Caldo in 2024 um whilst the eels are a pretty good attacking wise but defensively K League points so I just feel like the dogs might be able to hold him out today but you know the eels are favorites for reason and I do get it but if there's an underdog I'm going to tip it is going to be the doggies there now if we go into the ladder if the dogs are to win today they're on 14th points in 11th so with a plus 77 points differential if they win this game they go above Manley they go above the Warriors they will go above the dragons in eight through a - 34 and they will also go above the Broncos in seventh who are on plus 47 so the would go to seventh The Roosters are plus 133 up there in sixth position so basically the dogs would have to win this game by over 60 points to get above the rers into the top six which is definitely I don't think happening they're not going to be winning the Ys about by 60 points I don't think they have enough points in them there uh but the dogs obviously it's good to even be able to put them in that conversation right now if the dogs were to lose this game here uh there's their points differential is much better than the Cowboys on 14 with - 26 and the Knights on 14 with - 47 so they more than likely unless they unless they lost by 100 points there they would not be going below I think even 100 doesn't get them below the the Cowboys there so yeah the points differential for the doggies is is definitely a really really good sign one of the I think top five top six across the competition right now for points differential so dogs fans would be very very happy about that one uh so yeah they won't drop off any if they lose they'll just stay there in 11th position however the team they're playing today the Pata e the P SS now if they were to win this game here they would not move up a spot they're in the bottom four they're in 14 position with 10 points the next best in 13th is the knights and also the Cowboys the Bulldogs on 14 points there so that means that they're obviously two wins behind them um they've played oh okay and and you know what it's crazy right the Cowboys have actually I don't think they've had a buyer yet have the Cowboys no have the Cowboys had a buy yet I'm not too sure they've played 14 everybody else has played either 1D or 12 have a c with play by yet I'm not too sure you guys in the chat can let me know there which is really beneficial to them if that's the case uh so yeah the Ys can't jump up now the only way they go down here if they lose this game by 16 points or more they will go below the Titans uh the Titans will go back up into 14th position and if they were to lose by uh uh 117 127 what if they were lost by 30 points then they would go below the rabbito into 16th position so um yeah you know if you're a Titans fan or a Rabbid o fan you're going for a big win here for the doggies here today if you are a fan of anybody in the eight like a dragons Broncos Warriors manly kind of deal even so much to say to Cowboys and the Knights you want the ills to win today because you are safe but then again you are obviously allowing Pam to creep back up that table and to put themselves within Striking Distance with obviously this been the origin period we're not at the final straight yet we're not even come around the turn yet uh so you know there's still plenty of time for the eels despite being down there on 10 it's also plenty of time for the rabitos to you know to still make it and get in there um so yeah I I wouldn't be you wouldn't be cheering too heavily because I do think that if the eels get on a bit of a run here uh or or even the rabbit to say that too then obviously they'll start to create a little bit of tension around that top eight with some more added teams to the absolute piling up absolute piling up of teams right now around that eight so yeah interesting uh mid part of the season right now a lot of teams still in absolute hunt for it all obviously guys hit that like button subscribe if you're new around here like I said I'm going to tip a doggies upset today but I will go by a very small amount because I do think that the Ys are favorites for a reason but if I'm going to tip an upset I think that this is one uh with the potential for the defensive structures to come out there for Zury all right well there we go I appreciate you guys and let's uh jump into the comments section Jag forces for Dragon sake go Ys but I think the dogs win this I am on the same wavelength uh I am on the same wavelength there this could come down extra time uh it it it could also be a blowout uh I would say that the blowout more than likely be more eels related than dogs related but I do think that the doggies in a grind of a game in a close game in a in a slower Pace game I think the doggies probably do come out on top there obviously is a big loss of that car on the wing uh but they just push obviously ja k out there they Bron and CH coming in center it's like they they're they're okay so I don't rate the doggies attacking wise too much right that's why I don't really think that the 13 plus of the doggies is more uh I don't think the 13 plus of the doggies is is pretty much the equation like I guess it could but last week obviously against the knights there wasn't much happening until the 60th minute and then they blew them out right they absolutely slapped up the knights in the last 20 but obviously people go and look at that score line they go okay consistently across the game the doggies must have whooped him which wasn't necessarily the case I don't think the dog has attacked that greatly last week until that last part where the knights were just absolutely horrific for the majority of that game and then let it go late so yeah love the dogs defense not a fan of their attack don't mind and I think the eels have a pretty decent attack but also their defense is very worrying actually just to go back over that ladder there the eels have scored 247 points so far in 2024 and the dogs have scored 270 so obviously the Ys have been without more players right and obviously they've been without their key players for a very long time so although the OB obviously the doggies the doggies they've actually scored more points I do still rate the Ys as a better attacking side than the dogs and and these two teams both the Ys and the dogs that attacking number isn't exactly fantastic either you know that's only better than the teams down the bottom end of the table really so yeah um it'll be interesting to see how that goes but defensively the dogs have given up 193 points the's 354 and I don't really relate that uh 354 defensive structure to Mitchell Moses being out Oro being out realistically because I do think play SL with solid I do think that um defensively obviously he did have a lot to work on at the back but overall I don't just completely correlate that you know with Mitchell mes and Goth being in I think that was a a whole team kind of problem with giving up those points as well so that's why yeah I I think I EDG it with the dogs today as an underdog uh J pen fall says how are you ah it's been a big weekend it's been a big weekend obviously uh the online world can get tougher it felt just to win they not really think about the Milestone when you lose a lot of the time people do say oh that's another Milestone that's the reason we lost so there's a lot more focus on the loss which goes into the brain more which you remember more right so no every every team kind of does go through that and I can tell right now we we say the same thing Jay says dogs by 61 uh by 61 oh wait is that so that they uh oh so the eels go well to be fair if they oh okay well that would then drop the roosters Bel okay okay it's actually you're wrong actually Jay they don't need to win by 61 even though I said that before so 87 97 107 sorry 117 127 so it's actually only 57 points need to win by J so one L try buddy yeah one let try come on now one less try you know it's crazy 61 not winning 13 plus like I I I'm tipping the dogs I just don't know if their attack is good enough to win 13 plus here but with that being said the eills defense is so woeful that they maybe could let allow the dogs to look like a really great attacking team but the dogs are known for their defense and that's how they usually and I believe will win this game so I wouldn't say 30 and plus personally does not mean more passionate that's that's not what I believe I don't believe that and normally does not mean more passionate um it just means that there's more people to kind of push it out there so with the Titans j4 do think the Titans have gone backwards after their lost of the South I thought they have improved a lot in the past weeks six weeks it's been one game it's been one game which is one of those days on Saturday mate and I can't even go into the full extent of it but it was just one of those days on Saturday off the field and on the field mate it was just a [ __ ] Fest there at C stadium so yeah we we'll see how they go next week against the Tigs um but yeah look sometimes you just have those days mate and our team had that day and our fans also had that day right so no it is down there in Campa but no I've been it before mate it's a nice place it's beautiful beautiful place I don't think Y is as great as you reckon uh but for a dragons fan yes for opposition fans I wouldn't say that that is one of the more kind of Highly anticipated kind of attendance places for opposition fans for atmosphere wise there's definitely the better ones in my personal opinion by quite a long way um but with that being said like for a dragon fan of course you're going to see it that way but the the the heill is definitely great you know I loved being on the hill for sure but
