you are Nashville Tennessee home of the grand old opery and home of the Seahawks all week long as they prepare for today's preseason matchup with the [Music] [Music] Titans after a couple of joint practices between the two teams head coach Mike McDonald was very satisfied with how things went and all that work culminates with game day here at Nissan Stadium from a blistering hot Nissan stadium in Nashville Tennessee welcome everybody to the Seahawks second preseason game of this 24 contest it is the Seahawks visiting the Tennessee Titans never take this thing for granted man we doing what we what we dream to doing man let's go here fly around make play set the tone QB's on 1 2 3 we set the tone last week but can we build on it can we tackle better can we make more plays on the ball can we have more fun we have more energy we got to start this off right no drop offs the whole way on me let's get it h on three 1 2 3 fre money out this defense is really starting to come together and it doesn't seem to matter who ad the defensive coordinator or Mike McDonald put in there what impressed you most about that week one win the collective competitive juices Kate I mean you saw four and five guys around every single tackle every run you saw four and five blockers uh you know just pushing the power what up y are we on TV right now oh you know what I'm saying we on TV we on T professional we out here today and Tennessee the hot the Heat and we F to turn it up some more let's go hey look we been whooping their ass all week don't let up right now put your damn foot on the pedal and step on they neck all right let's go let's go see how on three 1 2 [Applause] [Music] three shotgun snap Rush is coming Willet gets hit tries to break free he can't all the way back to the 10 [Music] now fires it into Lisa chanelz who's got a first down for your Seahawks canol junr gets the hand off coming back to the left side spins out of a tackle gets hit hand off straight ahead McIntosh explos straight up field owl to the end zone got a man and the Seahawks have a touchdown are you doing couldn't have placed it any better right in his wheelhouse that's Esa Winston Jr for [Music] six now throws down the seam bow SC all the way out to Midfield Cody white 33 yd down [Music] field Rudolph goes down the scene ball is caught breaking a tackle diving into the end zone touchdown Tennessee Nick Westbrook [Music] aen here's Jason Myers with a 48 yd field goal kick is away kick is good and makes it a 127 ball game here at the half third and six off the hands of his intended receiver and P picked off by Ty [Music] Oka a beautiful diving catch and yeah dance your dance time that was spectacular [Applause] [Music] [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] oh snap spot kick is away and the kick is good and Tennessee goes to 2 and0 on this preseason and the Seahawks lose by a point 16 15 well I'll tell you what there's going to be a lot of coachable moments for the defense in that second half cuz you know the first half they really shut him [Music] down all right um obviously disappointed we uh didn't win the game and um that's message the guys to say let's just stay steady let's let's attack the reasons why we lost and and uh where we fell short and make sure we have a heck of a week before we uh play Cleveland to close uh close out the preseason
