there's a lot of new faces on this team you know yourself including how much just a win like this help bring the group closer together it's awesome I mean uh the steps we've taken the last few weeks um you know since I've got here I've seen how much better this team's gotten and um you know how much more consistent we we can be and have shown we can be so um you know obviously we played a real complete game tonight I think we we should have won last night too so um you know obviously it's huge for a group and and a win is is huge for confidence you guys feel like you redeemed yourselves a little bit by getting this win today cuz you were so close yesterday for sure uh I mean anytime you get a win like I said it's confidence it's confidence for everyone it's confidence for the team so um yeah like I said it's nice to get the one today uh cuz we didn't yesterday there's a little more special than you're against a team like van yeah they're you know they're a good team they're near the top of the league so um obviously we've shown now we can play with anyone and uh we can beat anyone in this league so um you know this is just just another step towards where we want to go can you take us through what happened you know with the melee there just towards after Mike's what what you saw from that from your end yeah it's it's hockey I mean um you know you kind of lose your mind a little bit sometimes uh everyone does right so everyone's competitive everyone wants to win and um yeah that's it what what did you feel happen after Pon hit you and everything ensued like what did you think there was a call take us through did you feel just hockey um everyone loves that stuff right you want to get into those scrums and you know you want to win like I said so uh you know we're we're up in in the third like that it's a big game for us and uh we want to show we're not backing down and uh you know no matter who challenges us we're not backing down you talk about the opportunity when you first came here you put up points now you're starting to put up points on the power play five on five do you feel like you're starting to capitalize on that opportunity yeah I mean um you know it's nice to see our power play clicking I think we're you know we're working harder we're moving moving the puck quicker we're moving our feet more and um I think that just leads to more success uh you know we get shots on Ned and um you know it tires them out then they start scrambling and um you know we're taking advantage and and obviously those those two in the third today uh change the game for us you guys got s it's unbelievable um you can't teach that stuff I was going to say you guys got beat 17 to two last few games against this team does this kind of help wash out some of that bad taste those two losses tonight yeah um obviously we want to beat the teams at the top right so uh you know I wasn't here for that that uh tough one uh near the start of the year but uh like I said since I've been here the the steps we've taken are unbelievable and um proud to be a shark right now what's the uh what's the message second what's the message in the second intermission after they score at the end of the second period what do you guys enjoy it's just another one of those hockey moments right you just got to you know stay even Keel and uh can't get too low can't get too high is if we scored at the end of the second so um keep going battle and and we did that we came out ready to go in the third okay thanks K we have a
