the most in the history of this tournament with a guy named Frasier and a handful of others eight walks tied most walks at the Little League World Series nobody more than Todd wants there to be strikes thrown in this event no no no he can have it [Applause] it's hard you think about this you have 12-year-old kids and you tell them listen we might take until you get two strikes and they've been so good at it and now you see where they're at and a place to win the whole thing ironic because when they swing they make contact their contact rate is over 80% oh there he is third on the list Todd Frasier Matt Allison chy aai I think they missed in that year I got to go back and [Applause] look CS they'll be forced into swinging there have been 10 pitches thrown we haven't had a swing yet Short Stop yesterday he's the guy that turned that unassisted double play to end the game and win the championship there's a bunt right back to bio he'll go to first base pick up the out and the what they might do Landon Bono's a story for this team as well his ability to catch block balls behind home has been fantastic the way it works here in Williamsport the bullpens are in the Outfield and in order to get to them you have to go out onto the field which causes wuk Kai are on the bases next pitch in there for a strike and that's three balls and one strike this is just where Taiwan too has walked a handful of times and three runs it felt like the first inning in the international game yesterday was the difference that's when Venezuela lost the game and we'll see if they can take breaking ball actually does a great job of hitting the bottom of the Zone but since they're not chasing it he's going to throw it a little B up in the zone there to get it called for a strike the 1-1 developed the ability to go and get that and now it's a 3-1 count they have a little league home F Derby here as well during the week and the kid that won it is on deck for Florida Landon Bono the catcher has yet to hit a homer during the tournament way inside there's a walk only the 13th walk that the Taiwan pitchers have issued in this tournament and now it's left on left for the Big Bopper right rosen's really fast at first base oh great adjustment he's been doing that all week too as well might swing at one bad he sees the next one gets right back in the groove of where he needs to a couple of pitches to get the out Swang Jun now up oh where would you play as a third baseman against this team I I would stay right about there at the base I mean listen there's some guys you could play back I would play back here I don't think he's buting it's just for show [Applause] it's hard you got to figure it out you either come up or come back it's it's very hard unpredictability and kids roll into school around 7 a.m. stretch for about 45 minutes as a team then they have class all day then they go to practice but they all show up at seven and go through a stretching route this Chase there strike out two up two down here in the second looks a lot he's throwing that breaking pitch on three2 counts consecutive times going to have to get him team so point1 for bball going right yesterday to Right Center good pitch on the outside corner Florida yesterday against Texas a seesaw game and when they go they go pretty hard they can get them in bunches [Music] oh oh two and one and that's what he's hunting even here with two strikes [Applause] on the ground to third coming home for one he doesn't have to tag him it's a force play just when you think the opportunity is coming he touches third B oh yeah there's one yes good call so he did have to tag him great call didn't see that foot hit the bag so a double play one I thought he picked and just fired home but he stepped on Third and that did cause the tag at home [Music] incredible they are never out of it I don't care this is what they do Christopher chadr looks at one for a strike oh boy you imagine a Bas is loaded no outs and not getting a run against [Applause] him way out in front he doesn't move up on the plate with that sweeping breaking ball to try to cut it before it cuts on him [Applause] oh just the confidence that zakai has right now to pitch all of his pitches anywhere he wants I mean he's definitely spiked a few of those breaking balls but Chow you behind the plate absolute wall two and two three and [Applause] two chadr has really good numbers he's five for 10 here with a couple of rbi's had two big hits remember yesterday broke up that no hitter that Julian Hurst was throwing here it comes on a payoff and he laces one in right field fielded cleanly out there by way Shay they will hold cow and that this is the 10 hole hitter I mean to be able to get to the count two stri get a pitch on the inner half he's able to drive in smart to hold him here's Norton oh ball high aan Norton was not in the lineup yesterday he was sick whatever he was dealing with went away and a quick conversation now with the home played umpire he's done this before he switched the outfielders he went left to right field he's done this in a couple games left field on on a knock so we could throw the guy out at home all [Applause] right gets the call to even it up one ball and a strike got to keep an eye on the Florida base runners too they will take as we saw Tage yesterday they'll go I'm year but you see it on a daily basis and all that you're doing and watch why Sports when you talk about that diplomacy well there's so much that divides Us in the world today I know that Sports brings us together and I think about the next decade in the United States the Olympics in Los Angeles the FIFA World Cup the Olympics in Salt Lake City we've got this great opportunity to bring people together in a way that we haven't done before and I just think this is a way to transcend division these young people are so special and young boys and now girls are are doing amazing things on this field and it doesn't have to be in the World Series it can be on Ball Fields Across America which is what my experience has been so again just so proud of all these kids from every corner of the world State Department's efforts to help get them over here to play Little League Baseball it's an absolute attribute that the state department has and an asset to Little League a huge partner so thank you to the United States state department and their efforts good catch out there we just saw from Chase Anderson as he ranged into shallow left field and now is the last hitter in this order Chung B way four hits and the biggest thing too with Tai on besides the walks is the contact they've only had one strike out 83% contact percentage that's I mean over double some teams that are here 38 of their last 40 all swings have resulted in contact 38 of 40 it's an obscene number if they haven't necessarily been hard and certainly one one has been over the wall that's it oh UJ Ray he is the catcher by the last hitter in the order punter alexand and for the first time Florida are Little League World Series champions 2 to one is the final and all the Florida kids are gathered and holding and hugging and consoling the kids from Taiwan for a team that doesn't make many mistakes unbelievable you look the second baseman was not covering the base he didn't look he just threw it nobody was home there's nothing you can do the one mistake they make comes back to haunt them in the loss and we were just talking about in the top half Taiwan didn't chose not to bunt a team that bunts all the time chose not to Florida who's the big Bashers lazy it down perfectly to end up walking it off on a bunt on a bunt incredible Hunter Alexander you were waiting and Cha threw it a first figer and I got to get the out and he threw it into right field cuz nobody was there man your hearts are broken for Taiwan watch this bunt first baseman's right there there's nobody from second base [Applause] covering and wouldn't it be so appropriate that the guy that came on in relief lean Norton scores the winning run as Lake Mary little league just outside of Orlando lost the game here and in their eighth game here in Williamsport celebrates an eighth spinning walk-off to win it all Florida's never won a championship this is their ninth time being in this game they're 0 and eight no team has never won a
