and there was a theatrical cut that released to the theaters that was kind of panned and the community as a whole I love it but you'll be hard pressed to find anyone that that really loves Alien 3 or that it's their favorite in the series I don't think anyone's going to say that but there is an assembly cut which is called Alien 3 the special edition I believe if you go on digital to try to buy this movie and the special edition or the the assembly cut is my favorite version of the film I think it's much more fleshed out it adds back so much stuff that the studio cut out
