don't wait until you're at scale don't wait until two years in when you start to get those things right you were so much better positioned to scale and to really have the impact that so many Founders are looking to have I think about hiring early days Laura and I every night went on LinkedIn and we single-handedly sourced every single hire for our first 35 hours hires on the team that was us it was not open inbound it was us going on and finding people and having conversations trying to connect over the mission and when you do and just feeling it but we had such a heavy hand in creating what that first core team even looked like to create the flywheel you know well beyond that so I say some of it is really looking deep and understanding how do you want to operate what do you stand for and how are you leading with those values from day one because often times the rest of it will take shape after that
