Jake Haener talks confidence and more

how would you assess what you were able to do today I mean I was super confident with uh you know everything the decisions I made uh the opportunities I had um just feel like sometimes things don't go your way and there's things that are out of your control so you know I'm super confident with what I went and went and did and operated and and was asked to me so you know we'll go back and look at the tape and and assess it but overall you know this a tough game and uh players make plays and at the end of the day uh they made a few more than we did da just said a few minutes ago that he felt like you took a big step forward over the past 8 to 10 days yeah what do you think was different about um you know I just at the end of the day I got to be super confident what I can do and who I am um and I believe in myself I'm confident what I can do uh and I believe you know that I can play at this level and play at a really high level so um you know we'll go back and like I said we'll watch the tape we'll watch the decisions I made but overall like feel like I made really good decisions um Extended some plays with my feet and uh you know just fell fell a little short what kind of resume do you feel like you built throughout the entire preseason yeah preseason offseason felt super confident what I did um you know you guys were at all the practices I felt like I did you know about all I can do and and all I can ask for when I go back and look at the tape of what I did um you know these 25 practices uh turn the ball over two or three times um other than that continue to get better continue to grow in this system and you know we'll see we'll see what uh what the evaluation looks like on on this tape and uh come back on Tuesday with you know probably some answers how did it feel did it feel any differently having kubak on the sideline yeah it was great it was great having clone on the sideline I thought he did a really good job of communicating with us and uh you know letting us know kind of what we were thinking what what our approach was drive to drive and you know I thought he did a really nice job is it better with him on the field I yeah I hope he stays on the field yeah I think I think he did a great job um you know I thought our offense did a really good job of uh you know operating protecting the ball and um honestly moving moving we did did a good job
