today I've got a heated discussion for you and I want to know do you trust Scott Robertson's choices for the All Blacks because according to Justin Marshall we're on a collision course that's only going to lead to more frustration Marshall a former all black scrum half isn't holding back saying that Robertson is sticking to tactics that just won't work against the spring box Marshall didn't mince words on the platform saying the team needs radical changes in both game plan and lineup he believes that under Robertson the All Blacks are wasting too much possession with excessive kicking a strategy that could be a real gift to South Africa especially with the springbox dynamic Trio of Colby areny and the unexpected fasy at fullback now here's the part that's going to get people talking Marshall mentioned that he's a glass half fo kind of guy but even he can't see the All Blacks winning unless there's a transformation in the team's approach if we keep this attitude of kicking the ball away we'll be playing exactly the game they want us to play Marshall warned and he continued we need to change our mindset understand where we want to play Within those 100 m of the field because what I've seen is a team getting frustrated by suffocating defenses throwing the ball away when they should keep it if we don't change that it's going to be too steep a climb to overcome in 80 minutes but it's not just strategy that's at stake Marshall also questioned Robertson's choices for the starting lineup he wants to see Ari Sava at open side flanker a position that many observers have been clamoring for and will Jordan playing fullback where he excelled on the Robertson with the Crusaders Marshall is particularly irritated that Jordan continues to be placed on the wing despite having shown to be far more effective at fullback I don't feel we have the right balance in our back row when you look at the spring box selections they pick big hard running physically dominant men we've got to get that balance right and that won't happen unless we sort out the number eight situation and here's the bombshell I already know the direction I feel this team needs to go in but I can clearly see where Robertson is taking things he seems happy with Ari SAA at number eight comfortable with Rico iani at Center and surprisingly also with Will Jordan on the wing even though he never did that with the Crusaders Marshall left no room for doubt he thinks Robertson is being too predictable and that the necessary changes aren't happening the All Blacks are going to show up with the same team we've seen in the last five test matches and if that continues the result won't be any different does Justin Marshall have a point is Robertson really on the wrong path or is he seeing something we can't I want to know what you think drop your comments below
