Adam Scott Sunday Flash Interview 2024 BMW Championship

Adam kind how would you characterize the day in the hole um not quite the roller coaster that Saturday was but um you know 10 11 12 kind of blew it for me there you know I was in position with wedges on every hole and made three Bogies it's almost Unthinkable really um you know I definitely struggled on the greens on the weekend just didn't quite have the confidence in some of those putts I generally played fairly well I thought I played well off the tea today which was nice but just didn't take advantage uh from there so it's amazing it came down to one shot um but I felt like my Bogies on 10 11 12 gave Keegan a bit of breathing space and the pressure wasn't really on him and he didn't make any mistakes what was maybe the difference from the first couple days on the greens to the weekend I think they dried out and um you know bit different color a bit different speed and uh I just didn't quite the Rhythm I had the first couple days wasn't quite getting it done I underere some parts and then I overread them a little bit today felt like compensating you know and I I'd say My overall Rhythm wasn't quite as good on the greens you know it was kind of flowing the first couple days and was hard work the last couple days feel confident in where your game is heading to East Lake yeah I mean really I'm you know I'm disappointed not to have not to have won today um but I'm pretty happy to be going to East Lake because that wasn't on the cards a couple weeks ago I've played well and um you know after a couple days of rest and um getting my head into next week be fun to go and have a couple good rounds and kind of find my way up the leaderboard at East Lake sense of pride in playing your way into into TOUR Championship yeah absolutely uh you know you kind of grind all year and uh then finally the last four events you know my game's really turned around and looked solid and you know a lot can happen in a few weeks out here and all of a sudden I've gone from a very frustrating year had I not finished well to now feeling pretty pleased with myself but you know it'll be it'll be fun to go and run the tables next week thanks Adam yeah thank you
