How Adrian Martinez Could Be The Next QB1 Of The New York Jets

you're listening to the New York Sports show the number one all New York Sports podcast hosted by Dominic koreski the last year for New York Jets quarterback Adrien Martinez has been quite a wild one the kandace state product went undrafted in 2023 he then found himself at Detroit Lions Camp just to be cut later on but that then gave him the opportunity to being signed by the ufl's Bingham stallions where the he then posted an MVP award-winning season and even led the stalling to a UFL championship and now he's back in the NFL contending for the Jets third quarterback spot and could possibly have the opportunity to be the backup of future Hall of Fame QB Aaron roders that was a lot to say but we have only just begun Adrien Martinez's story in the NFL is still only just beginning and if the New York Jets have him make that final voster we could possibly see their whole plan on Jordan Travis get a true revamp and have the focus then go on to Adrien Martinez Jordan Travis was drafted by the Jets in this most recent NFL draft in the fifth round he came out of Florida State after leading them to an 11-0 undefeated record before getting a very gruum leg injury where he broke his leg of course ended his season now since that injury Travis has already experienced about three setbacks in his road to recovery and it's now even being speculated that Jordan Travis may not even have the opportunity to play at all this season though this year was looking to be a red shot for Travis it was kind of expected that he would get some playing time very late in games just to get some NFL stats under his belt for his rookie season but nevertheless Travis has already suffered a massive injury to his leg and to his ankle that kind of injury that is something that we see some quarterbacks some NFL players in general that totally Alters their career now we know how Jordan Travis was in college he was a great quarterback we don't even know how he is in the NFL he's not participated in training camp not not played any any kind of preseason activities that's now pair in preseason games expected to go on the injured reserve which is going to keep him to possibly around the middle of the Season Jordan Travis's rookie year is going to be one full of that's already been full of setbacks but even full of more time just patiently waiting to actually get a true opportunity to practice to his full potential and that could put him behind overall now you could kind of say the same thing about JJ McCarthy because he underwent season ending surgery but at least we know how JJ McCarthy is in the NFL preseason game we don't even know about Jordan Travis meanwhile the Jets have the opportunity and Adrien Martinez who's the same age as Jordan Travis they're both 24 years old Martinez though got out of college a year early and look at what he's accomplished so far they have the opportunity with an already proven pro football quarterback in Martinez to then Focus all the development on him on and have him be their future franchise guy right now in my eyes Adrien Martinez if he's to make this Final vosta Cut and Z the Jets in my eyes he's going to be the jet quarterback of the future it's not going to be Jordan Travis it's not Jordan Travis may still be on the jet roster but I highly doubt we're ever going to see Jordan Travis play an NFL game in a gang green uniform Jordan Travis has an NFL quer ahead of him but I think the way that the Jets are on they need a consistent quarterback who's not dealt with injuries and who's already proven imagine that you have a pro football MVP winning quarterback who's still fresh off of a UFL Championship having the entire season Town behind future Hall of Fame quarterback Aon vodes and he has not dealt with any major injuries either the jets are in a golden position right here and this is with an undrafted quarterback th this guy undrafted wise he's better than Tommy DeVito in my opinion you guys know how much I love Tommy DeVito the Jets have the golden egg in front of them they just can't quack it they can't let someone else snatch it up because if the Jets do cut but Adrien Martinez there will be another NFL team that will grab him and it's going to be a very very quickly comment down below what you guys think I'm Dominic kovesi take it easy folks
