What is Happening w SoFi TODAY │ WHY is Big Money Selling SoFi... │ SoFi Stock Analysis

what is going on welcome back to training stocks today we going to talk to you about Sofi today's been quite the crazy day I want to go over what's really driving it lower higher side to side I want to break it all down for you but first make sure hit that thumbs up and with that let's get right to it so at the time doing this video we are in Power Hour it is down 1.37% an absolute crazy volatile day so 781 the low 823 the high and so as of today there's been no actual news from Sofi no SEC filings the pce did come out this morning and in my opinion the core came in better than anticipated so 2.6 versus a forecast of 2.7 month over month was relatively flat you have some analysts for whatever reason starting to really question the validity of a lot of this data because over the last 48 hours like you had initial jawless claims GDP and pce all very good and coming in better than anticipated showing a strengthening economy so I don't know if some analysts just want to spread some fud or whatever the hell their reasoning is but they are questioning the validity of some of this so not necessarily the best and so today you do have a lot of entities selling so so these are all the transactions so far on the secondary Market above $100,000 every single one of them is a sale based on the bid the ask in the selling price so big money is getting the hell out you have shorts playing with Sofi kind of like a puppet so they were returning some shares first thing at the time of doing this video now they are increasing 197,000 shares so that is net 17.67% of the free floats being shorted works out to be 184 .93 million shares funny thing is when this kind of crazy bump up happened I was wondering what the hell like did someone just wake up and decide to buy the hell out of Sofi Well turns out that was shorts so you can kind of see it right here just breaking it down on the teal line this big jump up right here that was shorts returning uh so obviously in case you guys do not know shorts returning adds buying pressure so I think just so bigger picture Sofi has gone up like what it over the last 5 days 3.13% 7.3% over the last 1 month so in general yeah Sofi has been doing okay still subtract uh obviously the volatility today but let me know your thoughts on why you feel Sofi went down as much as it did a lot of grow stocks in general as of right now because of pce hasn't really changed the dynamic of this so still a 69.5% likelihood of a 25 basis point cut so that's gone up slightly so the last couple days it was at 64 66 and now 69 so even though a lot of the data shows that the economy is strengthening you have uh obviously more of a push towards the 25 not the 50 nothing really has changed for the November 7th so still a good likelihood of a 50 basis point cut for that so all in all I see that as relatively optimistic when thing that did come out that was somewhat concerning that was this right here so emit did post this and for those of you that kind of remember I do bring this up on and off not every day because we don't really generally have that much in updates but just last week there was 21.05 billion moving to money markets bringing the grand total to 6.26 trillion and that is a alltime high so record high this chart kind of shows this on a month-over-month viewpoint but same thing so big money would rather earn the four and a half or whatever the rate is right now than be in the market so there still is a certain level of fear right now and maybe with rate Cuts coming down the pipeline back to back so for the September and also November meetings that might prompt some optimism and cause maybe a rotation back into equities what's really weird is you do see the fear and greed index really moved towards AG greed um category over the last week so people's appetite for risk in general is increasing just maybe it's just for the spec players and not necessarily the larger entities because large entities don't seem to be buying all that much as you can kind of see so let me know your thoughts on Sofi in the comments below as far as options 1.37 million in puts 6.54 million in calls so a lot of money is getting into Sofi through options 48% of all the options being done so far today are bearish and of the call options that are being purchased you do see a consensus for it to be above that $9 next week so a lot of good buying is happening for that this is the current open interest so you do have 20,000 at that 750 and then 27,000 at that 8 so it's kind of low walls if that makes sense we normally are used to like 30,000 plus so it's kind of weird to see that there would be that battle of the $8 range um so again something to kind of keep in mind next week you do see those walls at 8 and 850 so 30,000 at that 8 34,000 at that 850 so soofi it might struggle a little bit with that going into next week so I just wanted to pop on give you guys a quick overview of everything right now with it at 794 it is trading between this pivot and this R1 so 798 is that next strong Target SL resistance kind of was flirting with that a little bit B right here but still I think just the bigger entities really just wanted to bring Sofi and a lot of grow stocks that really ran up quite a lot over this last little bit they just wanted to bring it down so I think still a lot of good optimism for Sofi um I do really um more optimistic about this right here so when Sofi did announce this so that's the Goldman Sachs Tech conference being held at or I guess on September the 9th with Anthony notto speaking I feel like that is going to be fairly good kind of matching with the recent news so maybe Anthony might come on and start talking tech-wise and maybe get wall Street's perspective of Sofi away from being a bank and more of a tech company I feel like that would be a good pivot for Sofi and a good Avenue because a lot of eyes are going to be on this so yeah all in all that's kind of a quick summary on what is really screwing with Sofi today regardless I did buy a little bit today I kind of caught the bottom pretty happy about that at $782 that one is more so for a kind of a a flip trade not necessarily adding to my long long position but nonetheless I'm pretty happy with I don't know days like this is good to average down if you do really like Sofi and believe in what it's going to be
