as these guys welcome we're super excited to have you host the Indianapolis 500 this year how about your excitement level I'm looking forward to it Lee being with with all of you towns and Paul the rest of the team but uh also the folks of Indiana I've been here since early this morning and walking around just walked the grid a short time ago that excitement even for today is really palpable and it's a great sense of it's an owned event owned by the people of Indianapolis and they're so excited to welcome you thanks for coming and they want to tell you I've been here for 25 this is my 43rd there's great passion for this event unlike almost any other event in the country so for us it is a thrill to look forward to a couple of weeks from now and and as the old addage suggests if you don't know you should ask and I wasn't sure if you'd been here before when I asked had you and you said well I have but not to the 500 you want to share that story that's right this will not be the first time I've been on live network television from the Indianapolis Motor Speedway I did this then Senior Golf Tour two events at Brickyard Crossing there four holes as you know are inside the 2 and 1 half mile oval so it's not my first live broadcast from Indie but it's the first one that really counts and things will move just slightly faster hey we're also very pleased uh and excited that you know to this has gone out publicly and a lot of people are aware of this already but you're you're going to be flagged by Dan Patrick a day alone har JR we've got a full cast Rood wood coming as well and uh I Know Dan is thrilled to get here we'll be here next weekend as uh the field is set and that's exciting afternoon we have coming up next Sunday noon to 3 being with all of you and then of course Before the Race we'll have everyone here there's such joy in excitement about the 500 coming off the Kentucky Derby at the start of the month and uh I I thought it was said very well by Joseph just a short time ago in the interview that's a small version of the indy500 and that's exactly what we see behind us and we'll see so we're all looking forward to bringing that to everyone even the non hardcore racing fans know indd 500 days are special days we're thrilled to share with all of you guys and just a great personal point for you too to Rack it up with Olympics and Super Bowl and Kentucky Derby it's just another Marquee event for you as well right and the best part is today I'm going to be a fan I'm actually going to sneak upstairs where the spotters are for a little bit I'm going to move myself around so I'm going to have a good time so you guys work here we'll go to work exactly you you relax and enjoy but you you've been working flat out this year Mike too and you'll see him next weekend
