32 Teams. 40 Rookies To Bully Your Fantasy Football League

FINAL ROOKIE ROUNDUP - Marvin Harrison this is your rookie roll call the premise of today's show is to take a look at 40 rookies yes 40 40 of them and they're current stting on the depth chart our season long expectations for them and whether Hayden that lines up with where they're being drafted in fantasy football right now and for you guys that have just subscribed to the channel we have a individual video on almost every single one of these so if you want a 15minute version of each one we have that by the way fantasy football throughout the the season it's just always about which rookies are breaking out the waiver wire is all rookies so we have to be nailing and I think something we can improve on in previous years is not just playing for week one it's playing for the entire season uh I mean I think Devon H's like a perfect example of this last year who barely plays or is inactive for week one and then we get to week two and week three he's already dropping 30o bombs on your opponents so it really is a early look a middle look and a full season look and also what has to happen under in order for them to be contributors and then when they get in the field what type of contributors will they be as well I have probably forgotten someone's name and so I'm actually going to be scrolling as we continue to do this to make sure I have not missed out but couple housekeeping notes just number one most importantly we know right now this weekend is like the number one weekend for fantasy football drafts if you want to take our rankings with you the way to do that is to deposit for the first time over an underdog fantasy use promo code the show or click the link in the description down below we've been doing our you know wide receiver running back and quarterback rankings tight ends will be on the site on the channel I should say tomorrow but if you want to take like a physical copy with you that's the way to do it in PDF form we'll be emailed to you then you also get a week one Reese Hall special all he needs is one rushing yard for that to hit and 50% of your deposit will be matched up to $1,000 pretty simple okay we're going to do this in ADP order that means the wide receiver nine right now on Underdog and in the first few picks of the second round in your home League is Marvin Harrison Jr your expectations he's our wide receiver 17 in ranking so we're a little bit behind we know that he's going to be a stud immediately individually it really just depends on how much the Arizona Cardinals pass the ball the depth behind them relatively weak Michael Wilson's an okay player down the field Greg dorch slot only guy underneath my projections have for 27% targets is that enough to be a wide receiver one it really just comes down to if the Cardinals pass the ball but you and I know that Marvin Harrison's gonna be a stud this is the type of player that is hopefully going to take Kyler Murray to like that true Elite status that's a difficult bar to clear but we have seen other quarterbacks that are very talented be able to ascend into that tier once they get someone like Marvin Harrison Jr I mean he makes the difficult look easy and the easy look like he's been doing it for 10 years as a professional so it's not as flashy as some of these other names we're going to talk about but you know that's not entirely his game and I think we're going to hear by week three week four week five that uh he looks like a 10year vet out there from a lot of commenters the only part of this is he has been dropping just a little bit Hayden and again in your home leagues right now he's the third pick of the second round in order to hit like that pick one to turn in the 12 or 13 spot he kind of has to be Justin Jefferson Jamar Chase rookie Seasons uh you're almost drafting him at his Peak but I understand if you want to go with the young player in this second third round group that we keep talking about because uh it's kind of difficult to find two or three or more than that names that you really love in that area of the draft yep the highest of rookie wide receivers ever been drafted in fantasy history I can tell Hayden's itching to talk about Malik neighbors who's being drafted as wide receiver 17 on Underdog talk to me I've Malik Nabers been bullish on him like after watching the first two plays from his college film his explosiveness is ridiculous reminds me of Jamar Chase and Odell Beckham that's not just because he went to LSU it's because his playing style he goes way in your home leagues like sometimes he's available fourth sometimes even the fifth round you got to be drafting him there I think that Brian D is going to scheme him open we're going to see him play on the outside because he can beat man coverage down the field they'll rotate him into the slot whenever uh they need like a key third down you'll see him in the screen game if the Giants aren't very good on offense what do you do you keep smashing the button with Malik neighbors so obviously the Giants aren't a good football team but I do think that the bar is a little higher with Daniel Jones and Brian Dall than some expect and it was really easy to get Malik neighbors the ball yeah he's the 10th pick of the fourth round in home managed leagues out there four for four has a great tool when you combine Yahoo and ESPN and sleeper and all these places so go and check that out um that's a steal I mean that's an absolute steal my hot take is that he should be selected closer to Marvin Harrison Jr you outright have him over Marvin Harrison Jr so I can't wait to track that again in the first few weeks of the season and as the season goes along what's to me the most hating is we know he's explosive we know he's awesome after the catch but what we've seen so far this year is like contorting his body for difficult grabs oh yeah that's already an amazing sign and what we've also seen from the starting offense on the field is when Daniel Jones got single high it's where's my leag neighbors I'm going to try him on this one-on-one route the final catch that he had along the sideline was just totally nuts and some of these passes are going to be off Target from Daniel Jones um so we really haven't seen like an easy catch so far and you know probably that Brian deal is saving those layups those gimmies for week one Beyond and he's wearing number one this season so he is retirement for it yeah today right now Underdog is allowing a promo a pick them special for everyone out there uh it's Travis Kelce half a yard for week one I actually paired that with Malik neighbors who it's been ranging anywhere from 51 and a half to 57 and a half for his receiving yards because in week one they face the Minnesota Vikings again talk about single high looks one-on-one outside coverage we're going to get those pressure looks towards Daniel Jones and again I think they he's going to throw up some prayers and as we've seen Malik neighbors will come down with those prayers I love it Xavier Worthy is the next player according to Underdogs ADP being selected as wide Xavier Worthy receiver 32 already climbed up 10 spots since August 1 Hayden why is that happen well it seems pretty obvious that he's going to be playing maybe not full snaps but at least like 70% of the snaps especially if Maris Brown isn't uh at full health when he comes back I think that he'll probably be back around week three Xavier worthy to me he might have some weaknesses because he's so small but when you get paired with Coach Andy Reid who obviously has a huge mind when it comes to moving players in motion we see it at the goal line we see it in the middle of the field he's going to put him in a bunch sets slot he'll have vertical shots down the field which we've seen Patrick Mahomes this preseason give him some opportunities I just think that it's like the perfect scheme fit for him especially Patrick Mahomes out of structure buying time throwing balls down the field how are you going to keep up with Xavier worthy when the play breaks down so to me he has the highest ceiling of all the pass catchers because I think that like like you said he can Tempo his routes I see Tyra locket I see Brandon Cooks my favorite comp for him is like T Y Hilton imagine T Y Hilton with Patrick Mahomes you can start seeing how he can become an every week wide receiver to this season I I just want to go through that point because I'm aware of the commenters and they'll pluck one phrase from each of us and make a mountain out of it when you said he has the highest ceiling of the pass catchers do you mean that of the Chiefs wide receiver group yes of the Chiefs guys I think that Travis Kel his Snaps are G to come down a little bit and just Rashid rice I I think I have a good understanding what Rashid rice is same thing with Hollywood Brown I think Xavier worthy can do like what rashed rice is good at and what Hollywood Brown is good at he can do it both I just didn't want to make that into of this entire group that we're talking about with these rookie wide receiver well he might have the highest wide receiver upside of anybody who knows we we talked about this note when it came to our quarterback rankings video that pck Mahomes last year just 1.2% of his targets 10 plus yards on the field ended in a touchdown that was 118 and8 in his first three years in the NFL yes again part of that is because of the changes in coverage to take those away but also it's losing someone like Tyreek Hill certainly not comparing Xavier worthy to Tyreek Hill but guess what he can attack those areas of the field you and I forever have been saying he is more wide receiver than people have been giving him credit for he has a little bit of a dog in him too like he will try to put his shoulder into you after the catch now he is 165 pounds so he naturally will lose some of those situations too but I mean already being an important player as a rookie in an Andy Reed offense when we've seen the likes of Sky Moore or trade for cadarius Tony not being able to like grasp what this Playbook is and also at the same time Andy Reid being able to scheme those guys up some touchdowns just imagine what he's going to do with with Xavier worthy and we saw it on like his first catch it was that 35 y motioning across free release then touchdown a little bit later on out of the slot he got isolated versus safety because it was a blitz and pressure look if he's isolated safety and you give him one step good luck to you because Patrick can hold on to the ball for just a moment longer and lob it over top game over yeah it's gonna be something to watch again in in your home leagues he is being drafted Hayden as the 12th pick of the seventh round that's after the likes of like Chris Godwin Keenan Allen Deontay Johnson and Jaden Reed like straight up want Xavier worthy above above many oh yeah sometimes in like the default rankings will be in the hundreds feel free to reach on him for by a couple rounds to make sure you get him next romad dun actually wide receiver 38 Rome Odunze on Underdog we know this is a loaded wide receiver Trio that he's a part of attached to Shane Waldron who also well documented loves to utilize multiple tight ends as well what's your view on romad dun right now coming into the league I believe he was both of our number three Prospect uh in terms of wide receivers I think he might be a little bit more of a post by rookie bump guy which just means after the by- weeks we start seeing these rookie players get more snaps he'll need to unseat Keenan Allen into wide receiver snats because like you said OC Shane walren will use two tight ends but I think by the end of the year it'll be too obvious that romad dun belongs in two wide receiver sets first all he's the outside player if you're like trying to play the jsn game who's closest to Js stylistically that would be Keenan Allen I think Roma dun has DeAndre Hopkins Dez Bryant Alshon Jeffrey courland Su those are some of my pre-draft comps and we've already seen him when the play breaks down with Caleb Williams win down the field so I think that he's somebody that you keep on your bench don't expect a whole lot throughout September but by the time December comes around he can be somebody that could be winning your league I think he moves better than a lot of like the giant wide receivers that you've talked about he's simply more fluid than that and it shows up as you said on the extended plays already as soon as Caleb is buying himself some time or abandoning the structure of the play you instantly see Roma dun doing the exact same thing I mean he wound up with two inzone Targets and a long catch along the left sideline just from those elongated snaps and elongated plays that's not going to be every snap for Caleb Williams because he also is highly successful inside the structure of an offense but it seems like there's already like a little bit of a link there and as we know Keen Allen was like The Wider receiver what two or three in points per game last season the only thing with this let's remember Keen Allen was brought in before they believe they were able to draft Romo dun in the top 10 so it was giving Caleb Williams as many options as possible this is the only season that Keenan Allen is under contract for this team and I'm not saying that the we've seen the cliff so far but I think it's inevitable at some point and when you consistently look at veterans especially over the age of 30 they start the season hot and Trail down and rookies start lower and go all the way up and that's why I'm prioritizing romad dun over Keen Allen because your fantasy leagues are one towards the end of the season yep completely agree okay by the way Roman dun is the third pick of the eighth round in your home manage leagues right next to him Hayton the name you mentioned Jackson Smith and jiga okay classic Brian Thomas is now wide receiver 40 on Underdog fantasy uh Brian Thomas Jr one of your favorites yeah I mean give me all the guys that are 632 10 that can run 434 um one of my favorite stats from him as a prospect he caught 15 of his 22 deep targets for 670 yards in 12 touchdowns that's 30 yards per Target I mean that's incredible stuff immediately in the preseason two wide receiver sets over Christian Kirk who's more or less a slot only player Brian Thomas has some Target competition there's names none of the names are superstars if Brian Thomas is at good of a prospect as I thought he was he could run away in targets and in air yards uh 95th percentile speed score and he's got all the opportunities so if we get a Trevor Lawrence breakout or if Brian Thomas is like a total gamechanging Prospect which I think he has the opportunity to do I think this is like another one of these wide receivers that you must draft stash him on your bench if you have to but I even think in week one that he's going to be flexible uh in 12 team leagues you know when we recorded our cheat code videos it was so easy to potentially get all of Xavier worthy romad dun and Brian Thomas in like three straight rounds yeah I think as this has gone along and more people consume content it feels like the entire fantasy Community is telling you to Target these guys starting in round seven eight and nine but still his ADP is in the middle of round nine right now attached to like DeAndre Hopkins and courin Sutton and Jordan Addison I simply want Brian Thomas in that range Brian Thomas over Christian Kirk I I I I officially made that jum I I want to bring that up like so much to wide receiver set discussion this team is still heavily a three wide receiver set team and they definitely will be that even more this year when last year they were kind of throwing another player out there other because Z Jones went down um more talent in the position this year adding Gabe Davis adding Brian Thomas do you think that the two wide receiver stuffs is is legit once we hit the regular season over Christian Kirk and he's relegated to slot only basically I think that's the most likely scenario this team's going to be in three wide receiver set so I don't think it matters that much I just think it was like a good sign that Brian Thomas is like not effing around he's out there immediately with the starters like to me that's just like a good sign that he's living up to the preseason hype and in terms of like who has a better chance to be the wide receiver 15 in fantasy down the stretch to me it would be Brian Thomas over Christian Kirk so I want to play for the upside Jaguars were in three wide receiver set 65% of the time last year that was the 15th highest rate across the league um he's so vital to their team this year like for their origin of success like their destination of it I should say it they wanted to bring back Cav rley to pair him with Gabe Davis they missed out and a lot of what they had prepared for Cav rley to do in terms of motion free releases downfield intermediate stuff that's almost assuredly going to be going in Brian Thomas's Direction okay now we go to a player who's a very different one it's uh Keon Coleman who's being drafted as Keon Coleman wide receiver 40 three on Underdog I don't want to start off negative but is the best thing that we can say is that he almost certainly will play the most wide receiver snaps on the Buffalo Bills this year if the preseason was true he's basically 100% uh player with the starters lining up primarily at X receiver I think the difference between Keon Coleman in the names that we just talked about is his own skill level when I was doing my wide receiver rankings pre-draft I gave him a second round grade you were kind of flirting with even putting him deeper uh into the draft than that he's not very fast and dynamic uh 461 speed his statistical profile was largely under underwhelming 1.7 yards per route 7% first downs per route those are really below average my comps were like Gabe Davis which was pretty hilarious uh that he went to Buffalo ju guu Mohammad suu if he was gonna go play the slot but it doesn't S like he's going to play the slot it sounds like they're going to have khil and Curtis Samuel in the slot Keon Coleman and M Collins are going to be rotating on the outside between X and flanker and that's pretty difficult to do for Keon Coleman now Josh Allen so good that Kean Coleman has to put up some num some numbers here but I'm thinking that we've taken a couple tiers down in terms of talent level uh and Kon colan is a really young player that's still trying to figure some things out as well so I think he's going to be a pretty forgettable fantasy asset but maybe he surprises us and Josh Allen so good that It ultimately doesn't matter it's going to be a fascinating profile to track you know we had the same concerns as someone like Matt Harmon who as an outside wide receiver the separation skills just were not there as you mentioned we thought in a best case scenario like a power slot roll could maximize his talents yeah because I thought he separated better early in his routes and late in his routes and I actually think that has shown itself in preseason work too again you see these Crossing routes over the middle of the field and whatever space he's able to create these Corners are closing that and even undercutting him yep um now that would be very different if he landed with some random quarterback he landed with Josh Allen and so naturally that is going to elevate the talent out there for you I'm just not totally sure like you said and sold on the individual Talent like we have for the others I could see I don't know 60 catches for 700 yards and six touch Downs yeah that's fine like I think like he's playable once we get to the by weeks throw him into your Flex spot I think like that's going to be the type of player he is he's 100% worth drafting seeing what where where he's at and he's still going late in home leagues as well exactly so like some of these rookies it's worth still rolling the dice for I just I don't want to get too greedy because he he is playing 100% the snaps with Josh Al that's a good landing spot but I am worried about the skill set and the type of routes he's going to be running um I saw the same thing I think he's pretty physical at the catch point he makes him pretty crazy uh catches on the sideline as well him working the slot and being physical I think would have been the best role but let's see if he proves this wrong I do have a slight different opinion than you do on just like the Bills wide receiver rotation I don't think that Curtis Samuel is just going to be stuck in the slot and it's him or C Shakir out there I think that we will see three wide receiver sets too of Curtis Samuel Keon Coleman and CLE Shakir yeah I think it's going to happen too I I was hoping it would be Curtis Samuel 100% the snap doesn't seem like we're going to get that but then at the exact same time this doesn't even include the tight end conversation where this team really failed on 11 and a half Personnel last year so they have to figure out a way when they do run multiple tight end sets to get both Dawson Knox and D King Kade out there and again in those that's going to be on Keon Coleman most likely on the outside versus you know one of these other guys just again really really interesting Prospect to follow because rarely do these types who struggle to separate in college go on to be outside downfield good players and like we see other rookies when they hit their Peak they like change the game they change their teams I don't know if we're going to see that level of player for Ken Coleman to ever hit that if that makes sense it Ladd McConkey does lad makoni wide receiver 45 on Underdog I actually think he's going slightly earlier than Keon Coleman in your home leagues all we saw during the preseason was nine passing down snaps only one Target Hayden just looking at how the Chargers wide receiver room is composed right now we have Joshua Palmer we have DJ CH and so while you and I pre-draft thought that lad makoni could do a little bit of everything uh as and win on the outside I wouldn't be surprised if at least to start the season he is their primary slot player this another player that screams post by rookie bump where yeah he might not be a two wide receiver set starter week one but I think by the end of the season it's going to be too obvious that uh maybe their best skill player period it seems like Josh Palmer is the the favorite to lead the team in Target so I draft a lot of Josh Palmer here but lad makoni still does have that ceiling we're talking about a player that led the power five in EPA per route he was number two in success rate on his targets as well he's extremely fast his like peripheral numbers look basically the same exact size weight speed as Chris olve Tyler Lockett Z flowers we're talking about some real fantasy assets and you and I believe that this offensive line with Herbert is way too good for them to have nothing in the past game so I think he's more of a flex guy to start the season but he was able to win on the perimeter winning downfield at times he's not just like some like Julian Edelman an incredible out route hell yeah yeah so I'm leaving the line on form I just think it's gonna take a little bit of time and he missed some time with you know injuries and that's actually the name of his Game dating back to Georgia just there are some stretches of periods where he just misses action but when on the field he was athletic there was little wasted movement I didn't think he was very good in contested situations um I think he's a much better player than Quinton Johnson so he will be on the field over QJ quite a bit the other aspect of this is again just a top- down view on the L in this Chargers I would expect them to average at least 30 passing attempts per game now that's different than what we've seen from Justin Herbert so far who actually has the NFL record at this moment for pass attempts per game uh that's going to drop down but like 30 was 30th in the NFL last year per game per contest so be super efficient if he finishes as this team's leading pass catcher that would be an awesome into the season and set him up for future stuff when they do invest more and more in the wide receiver Talent Brock Bowers drafted as a tight end 10 over on Underdog right now he has Brock Bowers a foot injury not practicing but coach Antonio Pierce has seemed unconcerned basically that he will play in week one uh I've also read some mentions that both Michael Mayer and Brock Bowers had great training camps we saw Brock Bowers in that one preseason game what have been your takeaway so far in that preseason game you saw him at traditional tight end out wide in the slot they're obviously going to design some things for him but this is also a pretty much run first team and not a good offense in general so the odds are stacked against him now he was so Dynamic after the catch Georgia constantly got him the ball and the flats they would give him on some Ender bounds too because he is so explosive and such a tough tackle for corners on the perimeter so I think you're going to see some of that he goes pretty dang close to David njoku who was like the tight end one for over half of the Season Jake Ferguson also in that same range pretty proven players does he have a higher theoretical ceiling perhaps um I really wish like someone like Brock Bowers was picked 120th and not 95th on Underdog but there's a lot of hype with Brock Bowers I think most of it's pretty deserved because of his yards after the catch ability my hot take is he's going to be their second leading receiver this year despite what jaob Myers has been doing year after year for this team I wouldn't be surprised if this is a heavy 12 Personnel team and we see Brock Bowers as almost like a primary slot player who then can move out wide who then can be used as fullback it certainly seems like despite not playing in this manner at Notre Dame Michael Mayer is like the true inline guy and again Bowers is this Swiss army knife move you all around to me that equals some manufacturer touches some manufacturer plays some easy stuff yards have to catch uh just to go back and pull in lad makoni into this conversation too makoni didn't get the easy stuff at Georgia because Brock Bowers got the easy stuff he got the screens and swings and whatever near the line of scrimmage The Crossing routes and then just rumbled after the catch so BR p is a really really fun player uh it is kind of difficult when you look at like the David and joku and Dallas Goddard tier and then he's going like almost in between them on all these platforms and if he was going right after Dallas Goddard I think I would end up with a whole bunch more right Brock Bowers because I still love both of those players but to me he's like the clear next one over I don't know Dalton Schultz Pat fry moov toj Hawkinson so on and so forth yeah to me that's like the last call I'm getting a little bit nervous about like Pat Firth and the hunter Henry's and that type of tier to me it's njoku Bowers Gard if youve waited past those guys good luck first Jayden Daniels quarterback Jaden Daniels selected as quarterback 10 on Underdog right now we've talked about this a lot Hayden but let's uh try a little bow on it okay what are your expectations for Jane Daniels this year 26 in implied points according to the betting markets that that's Washington really bad offensive line to me really bad in the wide receiver room as well so Cliff Kingsbury I think what's going to going to happen this year is he's going to call a pretty conservative offense you're going to see a lot of screens a lot of rpos a lot of like just predetermined deep passes Jaden Daniels can really throw the ball down the field with a lot of uh nice like pacing to the ball and we know that he can run he just has a lot to figure out because I think this is a pretty underwhelming environment around him and he has to be able to handle pressure and throw the ball over the middle we didn't get to see any of those questions answered uh in the preseason I think he's fine I don't see like the crazy upside with jadden Daniels because I me we're talking about like diami brown and zacker is like maybe the number two and number three Targets on the team that's that's not really getting me very fired up so in the NFL season long pickham which you can find again over on Underdog fantasy he has a five and a half rushing touchdown higher or lower 17 and half passing touchdown High higher lower 525 rushing yards and 12 interceptions and about 3200 passing yards give me the higher on the interceptions and rushing yards the rushing yards 500 that seems that seems light that it I mean it seems quite light I will say Anthony Ron's rushing yards are at 550 yeah I can only see that because he's right next to him um I mean they they've shielded Jaden Daniels so far and I don't mean that in a negative way it's just we haven't had the questions answered that I wanted to from this preseason we've had that with a whole bunch of these other players that we've talked about so far to me the biggest question is what does Jaden Daniels do under duress Under Pressure because 50% of the time at LSU it either ended in a scramble a throwaway or a sack and that just doesn't happen in the NFL you know like what is your plan under pressure and so what we've gotten so far is the shortest time to throw of all time at 1.9 seconds and his intended air yards at five and a half when last year the shortest in the NFL was 5.7 which was Trevor Simeon so this isn't a real NFL dropback game we've we've seen so far so does that happen in week one possibly or are again they're trying to insulate him because of offensive line questions and we're just going to see this for a bit and then three to five to seven play per game it's actually going to be that's holding the football and like make something happen so I have no idea which way this is going to go cliff has been kind of all over the place during his time in the NFL to as a play caller and I'm not saying like this is an evaluation of him as a player and Cliff's view of him it's him in this entire team and his reactions to what they allow if that makes sense I also watch Cliff kingsb at USC throw the most wide receiver screens with Caleb the most recent offense we've seen I know and I mean the wide receiver screens were absolutely killing me when you had somebody like Caleb Williams so uh I don't know I'm hunting elsewhere next Jonathan Brooks Jonathan Brooks running back 28 on Underdog right now he's dropped 10 spots in drafts since August 1 Dave canala said in early a August that Jonathan Brooks would not play a single snap in the preseason that weeks one through three would be the ramp up period just all of September um and then he was placed on the non-football injury list because his ACL was at Texas and not once he reached the the league so now the first time we were going to see him is actually week five Hayden so that's when almost this ramp up period starts because either he gets I don't know two to seven touches during that time I highly doubt that he comes back with the full workload in week five we're seeing the same thing just zooming completely out the Panthers don't have expectations for this year they have big expectations for Jonathan Brooks in 2025 and Beyond so I don't see them like rushing back to get Jonathan Brooks onto the field so I think that they're going to have two be hubard probably through sometime around Halloween and then you could start dreaming big with Jonathan Brooks but if you're not patient with Jonathan Brooks I think that you're G to be kind of frustrated now as a player Jonathan Brooks really impressed us 81st percentile in yards per game among drafted running backs he was first in yards overexp expected on his Zone runs uh on his off tackle runs he was third PFF had him third in elusiveness rating because he can break tackles and we're not talking about like a little Dynamic Shifty back we're talking about a big guy breaking tackles now there were some flaws to his gam he only has eight career under Center carries those eight carries totaled one yard we'll see what the uh Carolina Panthers offense is going to look like this year I I see like a Melvin Gordon plus type of athlete but we might not see that till November we might not even see that until 2025 so you have to stay patient if you are willing to roll the dice on him I felt Jonathan Brooks was the best running back in this class by a pretty clear margin yep that has bared itself out not only in fancy drafts this year but also you know the actual NFL draft despite coming off an ACL to me he was so good at attacking the edges of Defenders and look he's not the most explosive but he did a little bit of everything and I actually thought he was a really good receiving back too and after the catch the Panther's going to run the heck out of the football I think if you're disappointed by this nonf footb injury and some people are calling it injured reserve it's not uh then you just haven't been paying attention to what Dave Canalis has been saying now again is it the ramp I don't even know if he can practice I don't believe he can practice you can't practice until you're you're activated so this ramp up period is going to happen in week five six S I don't know when their by- we is right but the other part of that is he hasn't taken a single practice rep this preseason so again just interpreting that would have led you to not have disappointment if you were expecting early season production out of Jonathan Brooks or you could have just you know watched his channel and heard us talk about tuuba hubard for the first F four five six weeks of the season right I will say if people are panicking about Jonathan Brooks he is the perfect bench stash especially if you have an IR spot I'm willing to see what what happens down the stretch here but anything before pick 100 I think is is too rich uh no matter the format I mean he's the opposite type of player from guys he's being drafted around and Devon singer Austin Eckler and Jonathan Brooks like those are three in a row so it's again you have to change you have to have a plan for him once you're drafting him in your fantasy league versus these volume sponges like Devon singot ter uh who will you know probably be your running back to is in your starting lineup in week one if you draft it that way okay Caleb Williams is up next I give you the floor I don't have a lot to say I think Caleb Williams we've pretty pretty much made it pretty clear that we have insane expectations for Caleb Williams I'll just say this don't sleep on his rushing ability like in comparison to Jaden Daniels yeah he's not going to be breaking off the Lamar Jacks in 50 yard runs but in short yarded situations in scrambling Caleb Williams could really get it done so I feel way more comfortable with Caleb as the passer especially with his weapons and I think that people were kind of underestimating what type of like rushing ceiling that you could possibly get from Caleb Williams forgot to Blake Corum mention this at the top of the show we should just go on to Blake korm who's next for us and because he's being drafted as running back 37 over an underdog uh he had zero preseason snaps and again I should have mentioned at the top that we're GNA talk about this Rams backfield and the Chiefs backfield because this all involves rookies so let's talk about Kiren Williams the punt returner when there was a meltdown on Twitter on Tuesday when the Rams cut their starting punt returner and sha mcfay goes on a zoom call and says that kirn's going to be handling our return duties there was a total meltdown okay what was your reaction once you heard it well first of all punt returners is like only touch the ball so many times a season so like is there increased injury risk yeah but last year the Rams returner like what returned it 25 times yeah so beginning in week four Austin tram will had 25 returns the rest of the season compared to 19 Fair catches uh in fact K Williams was their punt returner for the first three weeks the season and coper cup has done it for Shawn McVey as well Antonio Brown uh was the best wide receiver in the whole league he was returning kicks so yeah julan Edelman with the New England Patriots I would rather Kiren not return punts in fact it is a little bit of a red flag that he's returning punts I also don't want to go completely overboard with this because just like what happened with Kiron last year is they gave him uh gave the punt returner duty to somebody else that will step up that could easily be what happens here especially with with these cuts the 53 man roster still kind of up and down at this point they just really trust Kiren Williams I still think that he has incredible upside all that said tying this to Blake korm if you've been low on Blake korm I don't know what you possibly could be looking at you been watching the show I mean it's it's nuts uh pre-draft comps was Kiren Williams he was the only running back in the in college football to average one yard per carry overe expected on Gap runs Gap pulling runs and Zone runs he's perfect for the system he's basically the Kiren Williams clone here no handcuff has more upside than Blake km he's been my running back 28 ahead of guys that are going to touch the ball on a week- toe basis because you win your fantasy league if you get the next Blake km Kiren Williams type so I want to be drafting Rams running backs period because I know that they get the ball a ton let's continue on this conversation uh today Rams OC Mike lefor said that the Rams decision to place kyen Williams as a punt returner and this comes from Jordan rodrig uh anytime you can put the ball in a playmaker's hands you're going to be happy about it when 23 is touching the ball it's good for the Rams again that's from the OC after what sha McVey yesterday said that we draft we feel good about Blake km and Ronnie Rivers if if Kiren Williams needs a break basically if need if they need to um so this is a bigger conversation here one I think Shawn McVey just has like a trust problem which is pretty obvious that when you look at this team the same two or three wide receivers play all the time the same one running back has played nearly all the time yeah for an entire season like he also almost had to retire because he wouldn't leave the office and probably was working a 100 hours a week so I I think he has some trust issues here and he trusts Kyon Williams in touching the football you said it people lost their damn Minds about him touching the ball as a punt returner one or two extra times per game yeah that's it it's like a one and a half punt returns per game on average that an individual player or player takes for a team each game yeah many of them fall down or are fair C or go out of bounds that's the vast majority I understand some you know injury risk here because KY Williams has had some injury risk in the past as you said would we rather him not do it sure but at the same time none of us no one even someone that was very much advocating to draft Kyon Williams and still am was ever projecting him for the workload that he got last year if you were projecting him for that he'd arguably be the second overall pick in your fantasy draft right now because he averaged 20 points per game last season so yeah does this drastically or even like more than just a tiny bit change my perception of what this balance is going to be with kyen Williams and Blake corm Maybe my heads in the sand hayen but it doesn't for me like I still think kyen Williams is going to get 260 270 versus 130 140 to Blake Korum and that's how this is gonna go yeah we we see it the same way I I did move kirn down like behind Jonathan Taylor who I had like in the second round right there so I moved him down a little bit I've seen people completely move him down the rankings to me that's the the the scary part with Kyon Williams happened when the Rams decided to take a third round pick and draft Blake corm with the exact same skill set yes we we already have seen the bad thing if kyen Williams if that didn't happen KY Williams would be a first round pick so this is double counting it in my opinion to for the DraStic move downs but above all we love we love Blake corm like the the the lack of wasted movement in his game like totally surpass the athleticism concerns or injury concerns I think that people had um now he did open training camp I believe as a second running back and Jordan has mentioned that he's getting more and more snaps with the ones but still Ken Williams is leading that so I don't think this is going to be a case that kyen Williams fair catch is the first pun return and Blake corm Subs out there as the first Carry of the game like we got some shocks last year because I should say this at the top there's like this nine to 10 day period that when Cuts happen and the first game kicks off that everything Beyond individual drills for these teams is behind closed doors and so beat Riders reports all that type of stuff is way less advantageous for us than it has been so far this summer but despite the Rams shocking Us in the past I don't think we're gonna be totally shocked here with this K Williams B corm Dynamic two drives one drive two drives one drive three drives one drive I think that's what we're going to see here and we'll see a mix in here there a little bit more I think it's just not that's okay that's okay Dro off 20% of his production and he's the best second round pick yeah also only played 12 games last year maybe plays 14 games yeah this year draft Quorum no matter what let's keep going with ad I Mitchell who's actually climbed all the way up to AD Mitchell wide receiver 58 on Underdog to me it makes total sense I mean the big shift that he's already the starting slot wide receiver as long as Josh DS misses with his high ankle sprain um what was great was early on in Camp he was running as like a second team outside wide receiver Shane syin looked at the talent they drafted in the second day and AD I Mitchell and said okay rather than just push someone like Isaiah McKenzie in the slot uh let's get ad I Mitchell in there yep and Hayden what I've Loved is that we've seen a yak screen versus Insanity Bengals a drag route touchdown in that same game when his jars after catch was a question coming out of Texas and then even in the slot we've seen a lot of vertical routes eight or nine of his routes in this preseason were 10 plus yards down the field and to me that's what Anthony Richardson gives you at quarterback versus these other like pop gun hop skip and a jump slot wide receivers across the league he's by far the most athletic and high upside wide receiver on the roster so you have to get him out there he'll play in the slot early on his primary competition is Alec Pierce that's pretty replaceable talent in my opinion so I think ad Mitchell is going to play a bunch this season 92nd percentile size adjusted speed for somebody that was as big and as athletic as he was I 3.2 yards after the catch was incredibly horrific for ad Mitchell but at least we're seeing some glimpses of that massive boom bust wide receiver some of its off field effort type of stuff I haven't seen any negative reports since he's been Indianapolis so yeah this is a player that I have some expectations for at the same time this is still the Colts offense we know he going to be pretty balanced uh in general Michael Pitman is run a ton of plays yes they do but a lot of them do go to uh uh Pitman we have some expectations for Downs when he gets back so I think the upside case as a rookie is pretty hit and miss but he should be drafted because he's way more athletic and has way better just raw skills than basically every single wide receiver that's going to be on your bench yeah if I'm looking in manag league adps right now Keon Coleman goes in the ninth round and the next rookie wide receiver is AD I Mitchell in the 13th round you know the same wide receivers in his tier we love davien Wicks but then it's like Gabe Davis Darnell Mooney and then another rookie wide receiver we're about to talk about I mean I I want to bet on the talent that is AD I Mitchell to show in the first few games and look this Josh Downs injury might just linger and so if we get eight games of ad I Mitchell in the slot that's awesome but if it's only four I think even in those first four he can prove to be an Irreplaceable player that you can't take him off the field yeah um because I also think he's a real big threat in the Red Zone just the body movement that he has and you already see it with you know Corners in his Hip Pocket during the preseason he has these head fakes to kind of lose them and create separation I'm a massive out Metro fan was heading into the league didn't Envision him as a slot player but he's already doing that and earning the trust of his team is a huge W huge W yep he's much better than the next wide receiver we're talking about well let's talk about that then because in the same round right now is Jaylen pul an Ja'Lynn Polk underdog being drafted as receiver 62 if I'm reading the depth chart correctly right now he seems to be the Z he was competing with KJ Osborne with that slot taquan thoron yes if you remember that name is this team starting X wide receiver and then it's pop Douglas in the slot and then eventually Kendrick borne will will return to the offense so there's a lot of names none of them are good but unfortunately Jaylen pul to me seems like a pretty replaceable starter he's got good versatility he blocks well he does the Dirty Work stuff but back at Washington I thought like okay like this is a NFL starter but no trait got me super psyched over 30th percentile size adjusted speed for example and then on the preseason tape I didn't see a whole lot he made a couple guys miss uh on a ball in the flats but there's not like a a big speed component here and there's a lot of names I think it's going to ultimately be a wide receiver rotation on an offense that will be what last dead second into last in projected points every week so I was drafting pulk because I thought he had a chance to just run away and be clearly the the Patriots best wide receiver from day one I haven't seen many optimistic reports from Jaylen Paul he seems like he's GNA be kind of stuck in this rotation so I've been like really resetting my expectations here and I to be honest I just didn't see a whole lot uh in the preseason action Chad graph from the athletic quote the second round pick has done everything the Patriots hope for and might be the number two receiver entering the season what we need is like a head and shoulders number one wide receiver in a bottom five offense yeah um I've always compared him to Robert Woods which isn't like un awful thing to have that would be pretty sick if he turns into Robert Woods and there's massive pop Douglas fans out there too and let's not forget what Drake May and Josh DS had at the the college level I I think Josh DS is a superior player to what pop Douglas is agree um but some of our commentators might disagree with that yeah I mean I'm just not hyped and psyched really about anyone on the New England Patriots other than Hunter Henry at that at his cost to be honest yeah I am too but it wouldn't shock me at all like if Jaylen pul establishes himself as this team's wide receiver too this year and like for the next three to four to five years to come yeah it's not going to matter for Fantasy though this year speaking of let's talk about Trey Benson who's dropped 14 spots in drafts since Trey Benson August 1st got rid of Carter they kept Amari D Marcado and also DJ Dallas um I was going through some beat writers uh I believe bo bo Brack yes Bo Brack mentioned that quote James Conor is a do everything bellowback Trey Benson is a successor maybe the true backup and then DJ Dallas I don't think is viewed as a running back at all but more of a specialist and D marcado's past protection skills have to be the biggest thing on third down that they value and why they kept it I there's a chance that Michael Carter turns out to be the the number three in the passing down guy as well they needed to release him to save like 3.7 or $3.4 million and they might sign him uh for less money zooming out though with Trey Benson he maxed out in college at 13 and a half touches per game he was always in a committee and then how they used him in that committee was just basically only run the ball to the outside 67% of his carries were pointed to the outside he only had 13 career under Center carries as well so like the upside comp is Travis etn because he's got the size speed use him on the perimeter get him going the base case is like Lamar Miller Rashad peny who were like kind of pretty fast at times but like never like really uh took over the back field so I I see it the same way Trey Benson is James Connor's backup so his ADP should have dropped but now that it has dropped I'm pretty damn interested because like the best Trey Benson runs are 50 yard touchdowns and I do have a lot of faith in the Cardinals offensive coordinator in how well they scheme the ground game as well I just think that we should view him as a strict backup right next to Tyler Alger right next to shanet those type of guys not ahead of him but now that that's where his ADP is trending towards I'm starting to mix him in a little bit now yeah and your manage leagues he's now being drafted just after Blake korm so this is the tier of true handcuffs versus earlier in the summer there was some thought that maybe he could steal some touches here there and have some independent value with James Connor based on what I've watched in the preseason that's not going to be the case let's also remember though that James Conor might play anywhere from 10 to 14 to 16 games in a season like he's I think missed games every single year of his career but again the quorums and the bensons of the world are going after Brian Robinson and Jerome Ford and Gus Edwards who have like Standalone value in these manage leagues and I think that that's totally fair I would not put Trey Benson and Blake km in the same tier like to me Blake km becomes the guy he's playing all three downs and getting the rock on a really good offense Trey Benson uh is in the starting lineup because James Conor gets hurt he's a twood down guy in an offense projected for mediocre points so to me there's two different levels of like the upside case that we're talking about Blake km to me's like the best handcuff Trey Benson's like a decent handcuff uh but nothing too crazy yeah I didn't love what I saw in the first preseason game there were more exposive runs in the second preseason game I think if you call your offense a bit differently if Trey Benson's your starting running back versus James Conor is your first running back it's hard it's hard with the Trey Benson types though because they're like lower success rate guys and then they we could evaluate them for 20 snaps like uh and then the 21st snap is a 70 yard touchdown so it's like kind of hard to like evaluate these like boom bus types but because of that explosive ability I think people are going to like attach passing Downs to him and based on what the beat Riders are saying like Bo Brack I I I don't know if he's gonna even have that role to start the season I agree all right another running back and a fascinating situation is Jaylen Wright Jaylen Wright who is up next being draft's running back 47 out there he's up 14 spots since August and it makes sense when you watch him in the preseason just Electric in an electric rushing game just fits all of the points and the checklist that micheel M Daniel wants and terms of speed and explosiveness uh Hayden my line for Jaylen Wright is this he's the rare double handcuff you know he's a handcuff for Raheem oard he's a handcuff for Devon Anan now does he need one of those guys to go down in order to clear let's say six touches a game yeah almost certainly but if one does then we've seen what happens with two backs in this offense they can sustain you can dream big and in your home League your last pick is Jaylen Wright no questions about that aim for upside do like the pick I also did notice they did keep Jeff Wilson on the 53 man roster we'll see if that lasts uh there's a chance that Jaylen Wright is a healthy scratch in week one depending on the Special Teams value like Jeff Wilson did play some special teams for the Dolphins last year when he was healthy so that was a little bit interesting to him uh Jaylen Wright also another one of these like committee only guys in college maxed out at 13 and a quarter touches per game so he has some flaws that said this is the scheme to go to for like this type of player like all those flaws that I have I would really talk about them if he went to the Packers in this offense we're talking about a whole different ball game so if you want to dream big pretend he's Devon hen go for it that's what the last round of your fantasy draft's all about I think the odds of him hitting that are pretty low but there there's at least some odds that it does happen yeah I almost wanted to take all of the concerns that I had based on the Tennessee Vs offense and throw him in the trash as soon as he was drafted by the Miami Dolphins because they don't really apply again it's just get him to the edge and let him burst through alleys and let's go uh it again these are very different conversations it's okay if Anan and moer play for 17 games I wouldn't expect more than four five six touches a game from Jaylen Wright if one of those guys misses a stretch of four eight 10 games I mean I could see Jaylen Wright having a 60 yard carry or a 40 yard swing to the house for a touchdown and he becomes extremely relevant so it's almost we have to hit the reset button if one of those guys goes down and because of that like you said prioritizing him the 13 or the 14th round in your home leagues just makes a ton of sense yeah my pre-draft comps Raheem moer Elijah Mitchell obviously McDaniel has history with those type of guys so I get it Xavier liot is next being drafted as wide receiver 67 uh he Xavier Legette dealt with an ankle issue most of training camp he's basically this team's wide receiver four at the moment it's Deontay Johnson it's Jonathan Mingo as a two outside guys and then it's Adam thielen in the slot with that said I don't think it's going to be as strict of like those are our top three wide receivers they are definitely going to be mixing in Xavier leag get and it's interesting I I do try to consume other fanasy football content and more and more of the people in our space are drawing their eye towards Xavier League get towards the end of the drafts because it's as simple as first round draft Capital Al be at the 32nd overall pick right big guy who can move and win down the field and Hayden I kind of think it's that simple at this price yeah last round of your Fantasy Draft you're hoping for upside he's got size speed and honestly production last year averaged over 100 yards per game and his per route numbers were fantastic as well he has to beat Jonathan Mingo that doesn't seem that crazy to me I think it's going to take some time post by rookie bump type of guy I think in the in the interim too they might like bring him onto the field and like throw him a screen see what happens or like they're some Touches for him for sure I think you're going to get some of that in the interim and then eventually he probably is going to unseat Jonathan Mingo on the perimeter at that point you're talking about the number two number three Target on the Panthers I'm not expecting a whole lot from zavier liette but if something happens to Deontay Johnson all of a sudden like you have to get zavier Legette on the field just in terms of upside because I don't think Mingo has upside feland doesn't have upside so uh it's gonna take some time with Xavier Legette he's still like bobbled too many passes for me there was just a little bit of rawness in the way that he moves but the best of zavel Legette was like one of the funnest players in the entire draft this is a splash play guy early on and we'll see if in the bi-week he gets installed or halfway through the season as like a quote unquote fulltime wide receiver but they're going to draw up shot play you know we saw it even in the preseason having two tight ends in the back field plus a running back keep almost all those guys in so it kind of turns into seven offensive linemen and it's a two-man route down the field and that'll probably be Deontay Johnson and zavier Le get for those so we're going to see some opportunities for him uh more so than other I think play players that are being drafted around him do that he's going to be viewed like kind of like with Jonathan Brooks like this is a player for 2025 or do you think they have like real expectations like basically comes down to like what is have they given up on Mingo or not no I don't think they've given up on Jonathan Mingo and Mingo looks a little bit better than he did last year which in the small sample that we've gotten that's that's pretty easy to do um the injury just hurt him in terms of his development and cementing a place you know in in the starting lineup so let's not just have week one blinders on like this could be even a week three or week four thing you know it could be in like the next again eight days behind closed doors he does enough to play 50% of their their snaps too so I'm really not ruling anything out of here next one Ray Davis uh someone who has stolen my heart running Ray Davis back 50 on Underdog fantasy right now I'll just read what Joe buscaglia said over I believe at the athletic says quote Ray Davis and Tai Johnson are still in the competition as the running back two with James Cook as the clear running back one um Ray Davis is up 12 spots in August your thoughts he's an interesting guy to me because he's so different than James Cook he also is interesting that he caught 33 passes as a senior so something ever happens to cook uh he at least has a path to being a player that can handle 70% of the snaps and that's pretty hard to find this late into the draft now I do think there are some limitations in red flags to his overall profile six percentile short shuttle like not a an overly Shifty Runner uh in my opinion he also turns 25 years old this November he's basically the same age as James Cook so he reminded me of like khil Herbert on a good day and kesan vaugh on a bad day um which I think at the end of your draft is a totally fine uh guy to mix in we know that Ty Johnson's like not built for like a huge workload so I I do think that Ray Davis could be a goal line guy on occasion uh but I think the big thing is like he's a big guy that caught 33 passes so if something ever happens to James Cook like that's that's at least a good starting point I'm probably the highest on Ray Davis of anyone you're going to read or listen or watch this offseason it's his his preseason stuff did it for me and I understand he's older and like so he doesn't maybe have like the same learning curve as as other guys but it's also Hayden that just follow the money of and and follow the track record of this team you know over the last couple years it's bringing veterans bringing someone else other than James Cook inside the 20 yard line they obviously love James Cook but they've never been willing to give him the entire full field workload that's a money area for us you know it was going to be Damen Harris then it turned into latavius Murray right do we think Ty Johnson's gonna stand in the way of Ray Davis overtaking that early in the season no I think Ray Davis has more rushing touchdowns than James Cook does this year good luck I like it now that's not not like a massive statement Hayden yeah James five and a half or something James Cook has a higher lower over an underdog as four and a half rushing touchdowns so if you disagree with my take just go on over to Underdog and hit that higher button on his four and a half rushing scores do you have a a good promo code to use for people looking promo code the show I also mention and I don't know if weaves thrw it up there ad9 Mitchell what do you think his receiving yards total is for the season it's got to start in the five 575 yeah 550 550 I think you could hit that by week 12 all right I like that one you're just going crazy now and what you can do along with those is pair it with the Bree Hall special that you get for week one just one rushing out that that's all he needs again that's promo code the show click the link in the description you also get our rankings that have Ray Davis ridiculously high because of me okay we're going way too long I was about to say we're at like what 19 out of 40 these will go quicker brillan Allen Braelon Allen uh he's actually climbed the third most spots in drafts Hayden since August 1 32 spots 32 spots but I think a lot of that was totally undrafted to now being in this handcuff range and and he should be he pretty much won the number two job very early in training camp there was like a a brief moment where Isaiah Davis was like mixing in with brillan Allen so I don't think he's like a locked in number two but he's pretty close to that I I don't see any santone value obviously here um but he's a big guy and I think like in short yardage they would just like turn to him something ever happened to Bree Hall I I wrote down like less Shifty Naji Harris AJ Dylan as my kind of comps for him this is a pretty good Jets team though so I mean if something happens we never want it to but if something happens to Bree Hall I think on a weekly basis you're going to be ranking Brin all as a top 15 running back I I I don't I don't see isaah Davis being a part of this like early in Camp it was all brillan Allen you know early in the preseason it was all bran Allen then we got to like a point in the preseason after we' already seen that where they mixed in brillan Allen plus Isaiah Davis we know you're going to carry three running backs on this team right yeah BR I didn't love like as a perfect Prospect super young was very Nimble and Shifty for his big body again I just think you grow into the size that you have in terms of running with power and stuff they love him on this team again he's a pure handcuff don't see any sterland value but to me he ran in the top six handcuffs out there in fantasy football I think he'd be a two down back if he does but he's pretty good in the passing game he's all right I mean he's not Hall in the passing game but he was decent out in space in the passing game he he's he's a worthwhile last round draft pick I I would not call him a top six handcuff but uh he's definitely in the mix and we're going too long so we won't have this handcuff conversation when it comes to manage leagues to me they're far more valuable in best ball than they are in managed like if they're not giving you stuff on a weekly basis then you're just waiting and waiting and waiting for an injury so depending on your league and I actually would not go Bree Hall and brillan Allen on the same roster I know many people out there uh like to stack the entire backfield but I would not I'm even looking oh they did keep izy ionda interesting okay next Bucky Irving he's climbed a lot too 18 spots since August 1st this is a team I Bucky Irving believe put Chase Edmonds on injured reserve so it's just Rashad white Bucky Irving and Sean Tucker remember that name Sean Tucker anyways your thoughts on Bucky Irving he easily won the rb2 job during his preseason run he was running behind big Graham Barton the the new center over there and everything was looking pretty dang good uh I don't think he's gonna have that much Standalone value just because Rashad white has been a Workhorse everywhere he's been uh he was that last season Liam Cohen their new offensive coordinator he has a Workhorse history back at the Rams under sha MC also at Kentucky two different years after leaving so I do think that Bucky Irving is going to be five to 10 touches per game nothing too crazy and then if Rashad white goes down then we have the debate is Bucky Irving an every down guy or is he too small for that so I'm willing to find out because I think this offensive line is going to be actually pretty good and I could not have said that last season um and Bucky Irving like can make a guy Miss uh out in space um between the tackles he he ran he runs with more power than a guy his size the problem is he is his size so I have I have some interest I think I'd rather have Bucky Irving than brayan Allen um but we're talking about the last round of your draft pick somebody on the waiver wire show with Sam Sherman this year I think we could be bringing up someone like Bucky I think Bucky has more independent value Standalone value than brilin Allen does now in our running back ranking show hopefully all tuned into that you threw thrust Rashad white up your rankings there's been some comments in fantasy football Twitter that hey are we sure that this isn't going to be closer to like a 6040 split because you know Rashad white dominated this backfield last year I don't think it's going to be a 6040 split I still think Rashad white what is always thrown in Rashad White's face is his lack of efficiency with runs we have pointed to the guard Center guard combinations and that kind of destroying it over the last few years with gram Barton coming in that can totally shift all of that but if if it doesn't and he's still less effective I could see someone like Bucky iring coming in because actually to me his skill set is somewhat reminiscent not from a pass Pro standpoint but a running standpoint of kyen Williams yeah and we know who Liam Cohen was working with last year with Ellie Rams and it was kyen Williams yeah I will say Rashad white was went earlier in the draft was a better Prospect in general touched the ball a ton last year it's like I think people are like making it easier to replace Rashad white than it is like he was super productive even the efficiency I'm not even sure if these coaching staffs know what rushing yards overexp expected even is so I think they look at the total stats and go from there let's talk about a first round pick that's this low it is Ricky Ricky Pearsall peol uh he missed the past three weeks of practice due to a sublation of his left shoulder he returned to practice this week heavy workload reportedly by beat riters uh the thing is Hayden the 49ers were 31st in three wide receiver sets last year at just 40% in the meantime since August 1st Ricky Piera has dropped 14 spots uh talk about 20205 plays you mentioned like the rate of 11 personnel they also don't pass the ball so like multiply the rate by the actual number and Ricky pierc is not going to get that many targets even if I think Brandon yuk is out of there and I don't think that's going to be the case I saw like a Jerry Judy like Sterling Shephard inside outside kind of but better in the slot type of player with playing these guys we love Ricky piol in our Prospect profile I mean if he turns into Sterling Shepard that's pretty that's pretty sweet no J no that is not a good enough return for the 30th overall selection I did not have a first- round grade on Ricky piol and I don't think we loved him we thought he was one of the most fun players in the draft he was a fine second round pick he's a slot guy that can move well who's a little bit undersized and and is a little bit banged up he he's going to have a role I think in 2025 like you said next is jayen Jalen McMillan McMillan climbed 18 spots since August 1st last year the Bucks were in three wide receiver sets at 71% of the time Liam Cohen who comes from the LA Rams also the University of Kentucky uh we know notoriously they ran three wide receiver sets 95% of the time it certainly sounds like jayen McMillan who played in a whole bunch of different alignments at the University of Washington will mostly be viewed as an outside wide receiver for this team because Chris Godwin is sole focused on the slot right it is nice that he can be pushed inside he basically just needs to better than Trey Palmer which it sounds like he did that very early on in training camp so he's going to be a three wide receiver set starter do you trust Bakerfield to give the ball to this number three wide receiver enough to be fantasy relevant I don't think so but he is somebody that if something happens to Mike Williams or Chris Godwin on the waiver wire show we're gonna be talking up Jaylen McMillan he he does seem like a a NFL starting caliber player I didn't see any like crazy traits on his college tape uh but it's pretty cool that like a player on dates who has a week one starting role so uh good things for Jaylen McMillan Marshon Lloyd up next dropped 35 spots since Marshawn Lloyd August first why you might all ask because that might not be showing itself in your home leagues well he re-aggravated a hamstring injury in preseason week one and he's the only player that's active right now on the Packers roster to not be practicing now there was a report prior to cutdown day that he'd be landing on injured reserve that did not happen that did not happen and in fact AJ Dylan landed on injured reserve so as of right now marshan Lloyd his team's running back three but he's also not practicing Emanuel Wilson is ahead of them interesting player too on top of it all AJ Dylan goes a season ending injured reserve because of a sneer that's he was going to be the rb2 this year I I feel pretty comfortable saying that now he's gone so like all of a sudden we have a golden ticket for Marshon Lloyd to earn the number two duties I don't think going to start over Emanuel Wilson as Josh Jacobs backup but I think by the end of the year they want Marshon Lloyd to be the guy he's he's a more Dynamic player than Emanuel Wilson Emanuel Wilson like could definitely like run over your face a little bit uh I wouldn't watched him today so I think that he's like at least somebody that should be on the fantasy radar but I think long term like by the time Josh Jacobs starts wearing down if he does I think that Marsh on lyd is somebody that we will have interest in so to me he should go ahead of the Bucky Irvings and Allen teers I think he should be pretty close to like Ray Davis Jaylen Wright uh Trey Benson I think like that's where he should be valued at this point he caught a massive break because of AJ Dylan though he was not showing up enough in practice and he was going to be the rb3 now we have a chance for him to regain rb2 upside you nailed where he's going in manag leagues he's going like six spots after Jaylen Wright and he's going ahead of Ray Davis he's going ahead of brillan Allen he's going ahead of Bucky Irving yeah I don't know Marshon Lloyd I didn't love him as a prospect he ran super hot and cold y it was one of those that if he hit preseason on fire when the season started if he made the most of his three or four touches and turned one into a big play then the opportunity grows but then he has downsides this injury obviously fumbles wasted movement all over the place and so it's just not a clean start but The Season's very long and like you said if he can't beat out Emanuel Wilson for the second running back spot once healthy then there's some issu there mhm I will say Emanuel Wilson like is trusted by this coaching staff he's been there for for a little bit and uh like the reports I was saying when they were gonna hide Marti ly on in is because they like wanted Emanuel Wilson out there so yeah but but at some point Hayden you you don't spend this level of a draft on MAR lyd after signing Josh Jacobs if you believe that much in Emanuel Wilson no I I completely agree with that I think that just like showing like where Marshon Lloyd is on August 29th is he's behind right now I think if something happens to Josh Jacobs you have to give Marshon Lloyd some touches though next very intriguing back kamani Kimani Vidal vial who in your home manage leagues is the 10th pick of the 18th round they've never even heard of him let's be honest well let's educate because man there were points this summer after this Chargers organization signed guus Edwards and then JK Dobbins for very little money that Kimani vial uh was determined to be the next Isaiah peka and be this late rounder who assumed the starting role then preseason hits and preseason games hit and it's just weird like we don't see him and then when he does play it was really good stuff and he didn't play in the first game because he was injured for a string of practices and so we get to this point Hayden the backfield once again is Gus Edwards JK Dobbins and kamani Vidal and we still have answers for the entire season everyone overreacted with all the whole time here's what happened three there's three preseason games ready he was injured for the first one he played a bunch in the second one and looked good he played so well in the second one that the third game came around and they did not even suit him up he's clearly the rb3 on this team as expected going into the year it was never about week one for Kimani vidall we're talking about a six round pick after all I just don't trust Gus Edwards and JK dobins to stay healthy or be good they have to do both the entire year and I like Justin Herbert I really like this offensive line and I know Greg Roman and Jim Harbaugh are going to just run the crap out of the ball so I'm not sure he has to be drafted in your home leagues but the second we start feeling a little wishy-washy with big Gus bus and JK Dobbins it's time to scream uh into the waiver wire and be putting in some big bids on kamani Bal this is exactly where we thought he was going to be the number three going into the season on a team that we have some rushing production up for grabs I'm interested if and this is a big if if Gus Edwards and JK Dobbins stay healthy do you think that Vidal can supplant either one of them uh if they're really bad but I think that they want Gus Edwards and JK Dobbins to be things this year like they trust those guys in this system I don't think that we trust those guys from afar um but yeah I liked what kamani vial he like reminded me of like a mini Blake corm he's he's about this tall and about this wide yeah but he can run this system up the middle so we we'll see like you said the beginning of the show it's a long football season like we play games after Christmas we haven't put our Christmas lights on we can imagine how this thing looks on looks like like multiple months down the line okay just saying this from a part of this summer he was being drafted 17 spots ahead of JK dobins right do you think there is a possibility that in week three he's just running ahead of both of these guys and Gus Edwards is like the Banger in the 20s and it is kamani Vidal's backfield like he was being drafted like that let's be real no no he was not being drafted like that this he was he was being drafted ahead of JK Dobbins yes because this is a long football season we're talking about baseball where the prizes are in the last couple weeks nobody nobody worth listening to thought that Kimani Bal was gonna have a week one week two week three week four rooll it's a long football season he's being drafted as a running back four running back five on your team I think by the point we get to Thanksgiving I do think think kamani vial can unseat JK Dobbins I don't think it's gonna happen immediately also JK Dobbins way back when had zero dollars or $50,000 guaranteed like he had to earn the right to be on the team congrats to him for doing so uh but that was also like not a given like back in June and July yeah it is it does seem like a given as people are drafting JK Dobbins in this fashion that it's a given that he's just GNA get injured because to me again if he doesn't get injured then he just like has the hearts of this team like people that go through there the beat Riders believe that if JK Dobbins for as long as he's healthy is going to have a big season so healthy and good healthy and good okay he has been good every time he has been healthy let's be let's be real about that though yes he has been I agree he is he's a good player when he's healthy okay Ben Senate is next weird landing spot for him at the Ben Sinnott Washington commanders he's actually moved up 11 spots in August Hayden uh super athlete but we know that Zack ZZ is a part of this Washington commanders organization uh if we just go back to when Cliff kingsberry was last with the Arizona Cardinals Bo they were actually sixth in 12 Personnel usage but only 25% when he had Zack ZZ and Trey McBride so what are your expectations here for Ben cinate another player probably without a week one role but I saw enough in preseason action to be a long-term believer and Ben in it I saw him run after the catch I saw him play with a little bit of physicality and and I'm not sure if I've seen Zack Herz play like enough football in the last couple years to like really believe in him so I think by the time we get into November and December Ben s should be on the football field especially if Cliff's going to be obsessed with throwing screens which he will be throw some screens to Ben in it like this guy to me has he's got some serious pop as an athlete now I think that he's fairly inexperienced and might be a little bit raw to the game and that that could just make him an absolute nothing this this season but like in a tight end premium or a really deep League or Dynasty I think Benson is somebody that we should have uh our eyes on especially because the wide receiver group is just so bad he he just moved differently than like most tight ends and I'm interested I mean again this is why Rock Bowers Ben Senate Theo Johnson and tip Ryman were the four tight end selected in day one and day two is because they're athletes and you really need to be an athlete at the tight end position I do think in your home League s it's going a bit too early like he's going right after Noah Fant but ahead of taes Hill ahead of Kobe Parkinson ahead of Jawan Johnson I don't know if I can do that yet just because I think those guys can be like full season contributors especially ta Hill um especially Noah Fant um but I agree like moving beyond this season Ben sett could be a real real interesting player this is exactly the type of shot teams need to take at the tight end position I agree and I don't think that Zack her is for long I know he has history with Cliff Kingsbury but I mean it's 2024 yeah I mean it it this could be by week seven binson it's out there and he's actually their second leading pass catcher I agree I agree speaking of Jermaine Burton Jermaine Burton coming up next Hayden he's dropped 30 spots since August 1 yeah I think a main reason for that is because there's been a lot of other players in training camp playing over him in practices and preseason games Andre Yos has apparently been the erar parent to Tyler boydd as a slot player I will add though we know that Jamar Chase is going to be moved around more more now than he used to be and if Jamar Chase is playing more and more out of the slot to me that opens up an Avenue for potentially Jamaine Burton getting on the field because this is going to be an outside player for this team I think the first thing we have to figure out is Jamar Chase moving around on the field or on on the sideline because he's he's still not practicing and I I just want to reiterate this it's a little bit weird that the Bengals are odd with their contracts and Jamar Chase wants his contract a year earlier than like Jefferson Jamar Chase these guys get their contract so this is one it's August 29th he's still asking for a contract and the Bengals are weird that said most likely scenario even if it's not week one it's not week two Jamar Chase will be out there by the time things actually matter for Fantasy dermaine Burton's like the wide receiver five on the team today he popped in the preseason games he's a downfield outside wide receiver with a little bit of fight to his game just Andre yosias is like the plan to be the number three wide receiver so Yoshi should be drafted Jermaine Burton should be on your radar there a little star on your home leagues for the waiver wire keep them there keep an eye out for him but I think we're talking about a 2025 player most likely yeah Jermaine Burton was the star of fourth quarters in the preseason um there was also there was also that comment from Kirk herb Street and Al Michaels that suggested that Germaine Burton was sleeping during I think I think that was College meetings though okay I that's we're talking about kkb Street well but I think Al Michaels is the one who said it but anyways just just you know they talk with these coaches just something ins on the radar and got got pushed around I'm not I mean like you said it's more of a post T Higgins thing like this is an outside player yeah I agree so but once he gets in there then you know it might be tough to take him out it just doesn't seem like that's going to be a week one thing that he is playing with the first team unless Jamar Chase is not an action do do you have like any like I move Jamar chase down like behind a mon ra St Brown I'm not going to move him behind at least he practiced once or twice yeah yeah and then he was like oh no no check that's weird yeah I mean again who knows in these next nine days like he'll be out there maybe for the individual stuff early on or won't be or might come later on after that I have no idea what's going to happen I mean these these contracts this year I'm glad the CD lamb one got figured out but the chase iuk stuff I almost want to be like hey these guys are really good it's a long season hopefully it's going to be figured out yeah uh rather than move some things around and take who I feel is a less talented player and we'll have a worse season ahead of them I completely agree with that it's I wish it wasn't the damn Bengals because the Bengals are really weird with this stuff now I think that is actually easier to do in round one with someone like Justin Jefferson ahead of Jamar Chase and AJ Brown ahead of that if you want to go in that department versus in the round two3 area with Bren auk where I don't really want to take a lot of those names ahead of someone like auk yeah I agree with that does that make sense I think you can get iuk can like round four in your redraft leagues at this point and I and I would okay one of the last quarterbacks being drafted in your league is B knck he's actually climbed 21 spots in August Hayden as I said Bo Nix after his preseason action I'm surprised that so many people are surprised that b Nick looks competent right yeah we played a million games in college uh he's a good athlete he is one of the most accurate wider or quarterbacks in the league like I wish I was ex exaggerating with that that he really could put the ball on the money every single time now he has some Happy Feet there is a little bit of a panic to his game especially as the play breaks down and I'm not how much yards after catch ability lives on the Broncos right now we got to talk a bunch of big wide receivers which is cool but bonix gets the ball out early so I think it's gonna be a pretty inconsistent year uh in general for the Broncos but Shawn Payton hand selected this dude and I think that he's a good enough athlete for like super Flex streaming during by weeks um I think there's like a safe enough floor if you've been drafting a bunch of courand Sutton or like gavonte Williams he can keep this offense afloat but uh he's not like some like huge ceiling player either I'm in some superflex leagues like Scott Fishbowl and went like anony Richardson and bonick as the last one because I miss out on a whole bunch and I feel fine about that I feel fine about that Tyrone Tracy cared off in practice returns that Tyrone Tracy night I believe he's like fully healthy heading into this season yeah um pretty amazing for a day three player to earn the backup running back job in training camp and he did that and the starting running back is Devon Singletary I know a lot of these other guys are being drafted ahead of him Tyron Tracy is on my radar because it's great when despite being a day three player again he earns the spot and that almost Advocate like matches up with the talent that you saw with him at Purdue too former wide receiver so he's gonna be out there for some passing situations eventually but to me like the the craziest part about his profile is when you just watch The End Zone cam of his all 22 runs he hits the hole he has great vision and like that is to me super interesting for somebody that has not played a whole bunch of running back in his career the fact that he's already the rb2 despite only so many touches as a running back is just shows you like what type of athlete we're we're dealing with here so I wouldn't say you have to draft him in redraft league but he is another one of these guys waiver wire comes around Deon single ter gets injured it's definitely Tyrone Tracy over Eric gray yeah the the the talent is not even a comparison between the two and the talent of Tyron Trac is definitely there speaking of Drake May is up next uh we know that job brette is Drake Maye going to start the season for the New England Patriots this is a bad situation poor offensive line play it certainly sounds like if you read between the lines the reason that chob reset is playing is hopefully this offensive line gels in the first one to two to three to four games of the season and they're just not throwing Drake May to the Wolves uh I was a huge Drake May supporter uh didn't totally agreed that you know he drifted into pressure and that his footwork was a mess and all this type of stuff not calling him a Flawless Prospect but I'm I am excited once Drake May hits the league and we'll be even more excited once he gets a good structure around him because he has that combination of arm athleticism and progression reading that we want yeah I think he's going to like lead the league in like averaging 6.3 yards per attempt but Twitter Clips going viral um because the flashes are going to be there the consistency is just not going to be there it there's there's too much to to to figure out with the Patriots I wrote the same thing down in my notes Here uh Bret's going to start while the team holds tryouts at offensive line and wide receiver and that's basically what's going to be happening here so I don't trust his ability to navigate throughout the pocket behind this offensive line and I don't trust that there's enough speed in the offense to make this thing work but the best of Drake May is something something special like especially as a Scrambler and then throwing the ball down field and the combo we want he can he can read the progressions too so I think it's it's one maybe even two years too early to get like super excited about Luke Luke McCaffrey mcaffrey is up next uh has gone to now being drafted in every single Underdog League I'm not sure if he's being drafted in your home leagues yet he did not open preseason this way as a even top four wide receiver on the Washington commanders I'll just go out and say it Hayden I wouldn't be shocked if week one starts and he's their starting slot wide receiver yeah I think it's him versus only Med zakus and we're talking about a pretty replaceable level player here luuka mcaffrey was a quarterback in college then uh switched over to wide receivers last two seasons was moderately productive from out of rice uh I think that he can be used in the bubble screen tunnel screen Obsession that Cliff Kingsbury is going to have he might be a PPR scan but I think in like the very very deep leagues I don't see him playing in two wide receiver sets I don't see him winning down the field most likely um but they traded away joh doson for a reason so I'm assuming that's partly because they don't like Johan Dawson but I think maybe a little bit of the reason is because they want Luke mcaffry to play the slot and not Jan Dodson it makes the path just simply clearer with moving bodies out of the way especially the guy who had first round draft Capital with a previous regime I wouldn't get my hopes up too high like you said I I I believe their two wide receiver sets are going to be Terry McClaren and dami brown they're going to run a a lot of three wide receiver sets and even some four wide and yeah the middle of the field the seam we saw him make some one tough grab over the middle of field too with Luke mcaffry so just a name to keep on your radar okay I wouldn't do the same with our next name Malachi Corley is up next I Malachi Corley mean there was a moment of a lot of Buzz Hayden uh I think it was right after the draft even people watching his tape at Western Kentucky and like falling in love maybe our perception of him is a bit different than everyone to me he's just like a manufactured touch player yeah I mean in a way Lisa Chenal is dare I say albeit a very different body type he's dropped 11 spots since August 1st probably more uh even before that and again he's like a role player maybe 10 snaps per game the most I could be totally wrong but that's just how I view him he's behind Xavier Gibson right now and that's not a good sign bottom line we're talking about a Western Kentucky Mickey Mouse route Runner there's no way Aaron Rogers is trusting this so it's going to be Big Mike Williams who's by the way ready for week one drafts some Mike Williams Garrett Wilson and then Gibson and uh conch daddy conch daddy is the the random Jets guy that you want this year it's not Malachi cor he just he didn't run enough like real routes a lot of whip routes mesh screens he he can truck over a defensive back playing uh in whatever conference the Western ky's in but it's a the Debo comparison drove drove me absolutely ridiculous yeah I mean Debo did many more true wide receiver things than Malachi court now we could see in week two a sweet play where he trucks over someone and scores a 12 yard touchdown like on a little Jet Sweep yeah pop pass whatever you want to call it but every time they talk about Malai Corley it's uh hey we have to uh he has got to learn how to run routes okay Jordan Wedington is up next many people asking who that is well he's moved up 14 spots since August 1 and he Jordan Whittington might be the Rams wide receiv Z 4 right now I think the conversation here Hayden is if you believe or if Shawn McVey believes out of Texas this rookie can turn into their wide receiver three on this team I think they like Demarcus Robinson for real like they gave him money and when you like read Jordan rodrig and the other Rams reporters they keep saying like Matthew Stafford likes Demarcus Robinson sea McVey likes Demarcus Robinson so I think that he's pretty entrenched as the number three wide receiver and then it would be like two two Atwell with some schemed up stuff and I think Jordan whittington's like more of the Dirty Work backup to puka nikua my question to you what's your uh threat level with PUK and a after I saw your Tweet with Greg Rosenthal kind of reading between the lines you have anything no I'll I'll let Greg's word stand on those and people can read between the lines on those I thought you were going to ask about my Demarcus Robinson bags because back in our wide receiver sleeper show he was one of mine I mean at that point he was being drafted as wide receiver 79 178 overall he opened this Fantasy Draft season out of the top 200 I mean I love Demarcus Robinson at that price from where he was going let's just not forget uh he didn't play over 20% of the snaps until week 12 and then we look at in the five game stretch from week 13 to week 17 he averaged 13.3 fantasy points four top 24 finishes he's an important piece of this team that runs 95% three wide receiver sets I understand that you can look up his Wikipedia and say he did nothing at this stop this stop this stop this stop guess what he did a hell of a lot in the final five games of last year and they brought him back and gave him guaranteed money for a reason so I I don't see you know Wedington getting and taking his spot just outright if something happens it happens but I I think Demarcus Robinson is kind of entrenched as a three wide receiver set player yeah I completely agree audri estimate is up Audric Estime next he's actually dropped 15 spots since August 1 Hayden isn't that awkward a that weird that makes no sense I mean tell the people why that makes no sense so this is a really young player coming out of Notre Dame who ran the ball a ton and I've got some numbers he was number two in success rate number two in points earned per carry out of all the drafted running backs last year 4.3 yards after contact because he's big and wants to run you right over so I com him like Chris Carson David Montgomery Damen Harris I that's kind of the range for audre EST and when they cut samaj perine that opens up pass protection and that's kind of the fight right now I think jul mclin's too too small to handle that role in general and then I watch audri ese pick up a couple awesome blitzes this preseason so I do wonder if estim is going to be the pass protecting guy it easily could just be Javon Williams but ese is interesting because if gavon Williams goes down who's going to be like the grinder guy it's gonna be estimated like Jal off get more more carries but Jal is too small to be like a foundation back estimate can do that and I do think that ese has a chance to be the pass protection role and just be like a one for one replacement for samji perine so I could be reading this entirely incorrectly but 2/3 in the season three fours in the season I believe this backfield is going to be audre G and jio McAuley yeah jonte Williams no money after this year Shawn pton didn't draft javante Williams I still like Javon Williams for where he goes because I especially if you're like drafting a zero RB team he's gonna be out there on the field week one but ese is like the supposed future of the team and Shan Payne really talks highly of ese I don't even know if I love where Javon Williams is going anymore like he's going just around and manag leagues Tony Pard Jaylen Warren Taj Spears I don't know if I love that yeah uh I'm not drafting the Titans running backs you guys can have them Jaylen Warren Jaylen Warren straight up I have Jaylen Warren ranked ahead um right but yeah that it's a good I can be totally wrong because there there's a bunch of other people who create awesome content who love javante Williams this year I just don't see the same exposive player and because of that we also like jav we also liked Audrey gme more than a lot of other people out there b with legs you know just because he ran a slow 40 doesn't make a bad running back athleticism I actually think matters the least for running back than it does any of these other skill positions and these are the two players he's made an investment in he talks about Jalil a lot and he drafted audre ese so to me it's gonna go towards that direction as the season progresses SM was not a pass catcher at Notre Dame but he did catch every single one of his career targets all 26 of them so you can fast protect we'll see a late name into this uh Carson Steel Mr preseason so let's Carson Steele extrapolate this conversation you know an hour and 36 minutes into this episode uh to this Chiefs backfield because to be honest Isaiah Pacho was nearing that Kiren Williams territory of people drafting him in that round two round three range then they add samaj perine after the 53 man cuts your read into this Chiefs backfield now so samaji P Ryan pass protection guy like we just talked about and Jerick McKinnon was playing those passing situations early in the season last year he was out there for the first 11 games Isaiah Pacho during those weeks one through 11 was running back 14 in his usage his expected Fantasy Point so running back 14 from week 12 through the Super Bowl Isaiah pcho was the running back three once he inherited the full-time role so we're looking between rb3 and rb14 if you want to say that he's that samaji Pan's going to play the Jerick McKinnon role and Isaiah Pacho is that running back 14 this year I think that's okay but I also want to note that Isaiah P also just showed the staff that he can play more than he was when Jerick McKinnon was a thing so I moved him down from running back 10 to running back 12 this signing does matter for Isaiah Peko it hurts his odds of becoming that true Workhorse but the Chiefs also stunk in those weeks one through 11 and there's a chance that they are by far the best offense in the NFL so I still think there's an upside case for Isaiah Pacho and I'm not sure what's going on with with C uh because they gave him like a million dollars guaranteed and he's he's act yeah so I'm not sure if he's gonna like actually play this year I don't know what's going mental issues that he's going through right now so I I wouldn't be surprised if if we don't see him right and and that's why I think they brought in samaj pery as a one for one kind of replacement so yeah and hopefully CH is fine man he like he's dealt with so much stuff like gallbladder stuff last summer the summer before that like it's it's been a heck of a lot and this is a totally different thing than like an onfield injury but I know some did zero with the Denver Broncos well this is like not a nothing signing to me and I think your adjustment is the right way of putting it now we've also seen Andy Reed in the past signed just a bunch of Aging dudes and them do nothing like Melvin Gordon was on the practice squad when they won the Super Bowl uh Levan Bell lesea McCoy yeah we can keep going on and on down the list so among that grading I would put this samaj P Ry being an actually relevant one agree of an addition so the question is again in your home leagues it was kyen Williams Derrick Henry then Isaiah beo in the middle of round two round two no and then it's Travis etn Devon Anan and then you had to wait all the way until the end of round three for Josh Jacobs to go I know that you want to put Josh Jacobs hir than that so can you kind of like rearrange that list yeah Jacobs to me you can draft in the third round uh I've moved uh Pacho right after Derrick Henry in Travis etn I don't think he's that dissimilar from Joe Mixon uh and Rashad white but Rashad white Joe Mixon goes so late on Underdog I don't want to say that Pacho should be a fifth sixth rounder move him down a little bit like the signing does matter like samaji pan is a real player but we just saw Isa P be running back 14 with Jerick mckinon the role that we're talking about and that was when the chiefs were not good this team could be fantastic so samaj pan could matter and Isaiah P could still be really good in fantasy because I I don't want to go on the record Being fading any Kansas City Chiefs this year it just and by the way draft some a p r in the last round if you freaking draft over these rookie W running backs that we've been talking about all show yeah if if adps have not changed at all and it's between uh samaj perine and like even Tyrone Tracy like go go with samaj P Ron Ray Davis or samaj P ran I'm going Ray Davis still okay there's your line that's my line all right uh sorry Carson steal we use your slot to talk about some Bruin get out of here uh Theo Johnson is up next this is somewhat similar to binson it however I believe Theo Johnson is going Theo Johnson to immediately play for the New York Giants uh he actually has some Tommy Trimble to him in my opinion where it's more athlete than tight end and then he's figuring out how to play football okay he's getting playing time very early on uh good run blocker a bit of a gangly route Runner but I mean he only had Daniel Bellinger to compete with and already seems like he surpassed Daniel Bellinger and again these are the types of shots that team should take at the Titan position when you said Tommy tremble everyone said out no thank you but I'm with you I do think that is a pretty uh pretty good comparison yeah Daniel Bellinger he's replaceable it's harder for rookie tight ends to have like first team reps immediately that's what he has so leave the light on for him but it's the mil neighbor show over there in New York yeah and it's all about if he scores seven touchdowns or two touchdowns yeah I'm going I'm going two okay Roman Wilson's up next Roman Wilson um Roman Wilson dropped 27 spots only since August 1 yeah uh he had a spraining ankle in Late July he has been sidelined ever since he did start to do some light work in the last two practices Hayden and that includes individual drills this Atlanta Falcons team is going to be the low one of the lowest I think in three wide receiver sets and Roman Wilson is like a pure slot only Crossing route type guy I was amazed that people were on him in like round 14 for a while yeah he he has been so out of memory that you think that he plays for the Atlanta Falcons because Arthur Smith and not the Steelers did I say Atlanta Falcons yeah I know you know I meant Arthur Smith's offense with the Pittsburgh Steelers I know the competition here we're talking about van Jefferson an Arthur Smith guy and then Calvin Austin who's basically a manufactured touch guy the bar here for him to clear is so low but he has not cleared it yet so uh I think he's gonna be a three wide receiver set player by the end of the year and even when it gets on the field what is there you can have him it he was a a round three slot wide receiver that could run away from you a little bit over the middle but is so small that it's hard to get super excited about so rapid fire still will Shipley can he become the Philadelphia Eagles backup running back yeah I don't Will Shipley think Kenneth gainwell is very good now he hasn't completely dusted Kenneth gainwell in training camp uh but he was working with the first team offense when saquon Barkley wasn't out there there's obviously some contingent value when you're attached to the Philadelphia Eagles offense here but I think the most likely answer is saquin bark is gonna play a ton this year and then will Shipley who's who's pretty small uh he has to battle Kenneth gainwell I think that will Shipley is better than gainwell is but it might if Barkley goes down it's probably will Shipley Kenneth gainwell and they sign like freaking Royce Freeman or something believe the Miami Dolphins only kept Malik Washington four wide receivers maybe five but Tyreek Hill Jaylen wad braxon baros Malik Washington sixr rookie and I believe they might have also kept Grant deos if I'm not mistaken um so with that mind can Malik Washington make some plays this season I think there's gonna be some flashes of him they're GNA manufacture some touches to him he is really tiny and he was older and more of a PPR scam just generally uh in college uh but early on the season he's going to be battling Brax and baros for targets like that's not necessarily scaring me I think the big news with Malik Washington is Odell Beckham opened up on the pup list hasn't practiced yet they're going to ramp him up during the season they've been pretty Koy with like what the hell is going on with Odell Beckham I do have some belief that Odell Beckham at the very end of the season when they're trying to go for the playoffs he becomes a little bit relevant but that's a lot of time for Malik Washington to go in there and and earn a so if he's good he has a path so we'll see did you see the Cameron wolf mention on NFL Network that his little Theory and is probably not much of a theory it could be fact that this team's wide receiver three is Devon Anan that you're going to see more and more true wide receiver snaps which we saw some of that motioned out and him lining up there that's obviously major Trope for training camp stuff but that has been getting aan and involved more and more in the passing game we know that this team even on running plays will put moster and Anan on the field together and throw one this direction then run the opposite of the way with the other what if some of those plays just turn into passing plays so it's not like true wide receiver stuff but again just two yep running back looks becomes receiving work for one of them I think like that was like the natural progression for uh Devon aan into his second year is just like be more involved in the past game role because he's so explosive and he was like basically doing that like you said so yeah it wouldn't surprise me and we saw in the preseason like he's actually lining up outside caught that one pass down the sideline so yeah it's mostly a Trope this does seem like one of the exceptions like how do you get the ball to your best one of your best players you figure out a way yeah a lot of offensive coordinators fail with pony Personnel I bet Mike Mano can figure out Pony Personnel pretty good yes he can yes he can okay Javon Baker's up next uh one of my favorite prospects of his Javon Baker class just for where he went uh from beat Rider quote training camp start great for him but his play slipped as the preseason went on his role will likely begin on special teams thankfully for him it's just tawon thoron ahead of him as the ex- wide receiver uh so I bet when this team drafted both jayen pulk and Javon Baker the goal was for them to in this season as starting wide receiv receivers I didn't see a lot from Javon Baker on the preseason stuff he was he just he's fun because he can run fast and he can make some pretty crazy plays pretty fun but there are so many plays where this dude is slipping out of issues running the wrong route not on the same page and I saw that too much I don't think's going to have much of a role uh he might have a special team role and that makes him active there's also a chance I think that he could be a healthy scratch early on in the season he's got a lot of long long way to go um and we're talking about the Patriots so not not for me okay we close this out with Troy Franklin uh many people's Troy Franklin draft Crush out there we were not a part of that group uh he was drafted in round four after some Pro him in round two round round three some people thought round one early on even we know that couron Sutton and Josh RS are going to see the vast majority of snaps on this team they did cut Tim Patrick maybe that opens the door for Marvin mems uh but if I had to make a guess Hayden I believe Devon belly who's this 26-year-old seventh rounder is going to be playing above Troy Franklin to open the season I think that's a lock I think it's basically is B gonna be ahead of Marvin Mims as well I think what we've figured out now is kin Sun's gonna lead the team in targets by a whole lot Josh Reynolds gonna be in the same Josh Reynolds role doing a lot of the Dirty Work some downfield stuff Marvin Mims is your slot wide receiver in the Jerry Judy role if you want to call it that um and then you have backup wide receivers and that's what Troy Franklin is so fourth round wide receivers on the Denver Broncos you guys can have them uh but am I back with Marvin Mims a little bit back with little bit little bit okay this was not the show I expected it to turn into it was one of those show shows Hayden where I said way too much in the first five names and felt like I had to say the same amount for then all 40 names and so then a 55 minute show turns into an hour and 50 minute show I think there's enough sickos out there that absolutely love this stuff so uh be part of the the big watch time we better see a good good number on this show hopefully you know they just click the time stamps and pick out the rookies they want to hear on and all that type of stuff shout out to producer we for having to sit through this and take out a bunch of my mumblings and stumblings throughout this episode uh shout out to underdog as well if you want to support us most importantly you
