Europa Park Day 1: Riding Voltron, Wodan & Blue Fire! | Ultimate Family Adventure

morning good morning it's the 16th of August and we're here at europ Park in Germany just got in using our black Beach season passes took about 5 10 minutes yeah and the process our tickets got us straighten through the side door so actually probably how long we probably waited in the queue to get in as well it looks really busy today but this is our first time here we're going to explore see what we can do see what we find explore all there got virtual we're going to look on the app now actually see if it can boot any for any of the bigger rides like Voltron and stuff later on but yeah we'll take you along see what we can see and see what we make of Europa Park on day one got the map going to need it it's massive huge right let's go [Music] bye-bye so just checked in all the virtual cues for all the major rides anyway are already sold out so for less than tomorrow we've actually got tickets tomorrow as well rather than queueing for the annual pass so see that gives you only gives you one day we got two day tickets after that I think what we're going to do is get here a bit earlier and as soon as we get in second hit 9:00 go on those virtual cues cuz it's clear that's what everyone else is doing cuz they're selling out straight away I've got no idea where we're going haven't even opened them up yet so we'll just see see where our feet take us are we coming back for that beer and more beer Mysterio this place is dauntingly Big that's where we are we are here we'll have a look this way and see what we'll find I know but is it not a shortcut nothing the 40 C right is it not a shortcut the mushrooms Lord the Rings reference there any anyone watching it's gone dark oh I've Just Seen massive kegs of eringer rat ride in France I hope it was a ratatouille ride look there's the epot ball oh my God I'm glad we've got three days in here I've been in 5 minutes I'm already overwhelmed by how big this placees we spotted a ride we are at lulan Rouge 40 minute advertise wait let see how long it takes H [Music] hand and Flame from the Statue of [Music] Liberty because as everyone knows it was the French that built it and gifted it to America that's a cool poster Madame Freud Reich just got off can can coer there good fun can can coer done that was great that really fun really good yeah um good fun great fun family coaster spiral lift H takes you the top I shut my eyes on there cuz you know round and round and round yeah then went on Madam Freud Rick something that this dinosaur lady mad Freud and makes Curiosities Madam throwing right Curiosities that was good I read one on I think it was a T-Rex birthday party which is a bit strange but it was great the smell pods were really good in there smell pods bit too good one of them was a mastera pilot dinosaur poo and smell like Po so you know nailed it um let's check out this band shall we have a quick look at them full stage set up there it's pretty [Music] cool look at this shelter area as well plenty of shared seat and if you feeling a bit hot have a break and watch the band [Music] let's go for a ride on Poseidon very very excited to ride Poseidon this one as well the B are just coming down fast and thick as well so it looks like the obviously must be getting through the queue really fast as well come here just got off a posidon what R Still Water course it was fantastic nice and cool now though now that we we cooled down a little bit waited approximately well it was advertised 55 minutes I mean exactly 55 minutes yeah which I don't even know how that's possible but the operations are great though they just keep getting people off getting people on the dispatch is fast everything's just at the moment so far everything just freaking this is the second biggest queue in the whole park the biggest queue is an hour and a half at the morning for Voltron yeah so I don't know what we're do next we'll explore and see what we'll come to yeah this is I think we think of the k m house so where the room spins around you it's only your 5 minute queue so we'll give it a goal if it is a for my house though I hit them so to Shook Me eyes we don't mind them though we'll see let you know just had food there in TNA mkos it's lovely beautiful the gar Ros even Ethan had something Lords meat it's lovely um worked out about it was about €13 for the portion that we had with with the drink it C like 18 yeah yeah like a meal deal um but it was lovely yeah really filling so we want to head off to the woo think we're going to head off to the Bob SL Aller cooster now um I'm not sure where it is it's just here where oh no that's the M horn Blitz M horn Blitz is there sorry apparently it's a was earlier wait a minute this park is too big um it is such a big park that's I can see it there is it not through here let's have a look let's find it together there's a th here yeah th the th was looking voming in Wallace this looks like a ah here we go place oh yeah this is a food place definitely Swit though definitely Switzerland we're in Switzerland oh my God look at this look like aely beer nice be down here oh look at this oh look at this oh my God I mean this is taking them to the next level it's okay well there it is up there I can see it just need to find the entrance a lint shop schw bobin that is the Swiss Bob run so what it's becoming apparent is that in each area they've got restaurants that are tailing to the f so obviously we went to Greece we ate Greece we ate Greek food and it looks like there that were serving Swiss Swiss Swiss dishes so it'll be nice over the next few days to try a couple different things 40 minute advertise with what did we think of the Bob said I liked it I lik the um little drop at the beginning but I don't know if that's cuz me and Josh had the back the back car so maybe we got a little bit more air time you said you did I was in the middle got no air time Ethan I think it's better than L I think that's better than a lunch so we got two here seeing it's better than AV lunch I disagree I think is the best I think Avalanche is way more intense I feel like Avalanche personally Avalanche is faster I think but that's just a personal opinion where where where are we now look at this oh we look like we're back we're in Paris we're still in Paris there's a French flag uh are we we are look you's having a Wei Josh look look there's the flag oh yeah Rouge over there there vulture on the front there hope hopefully Ethan will get on he is 130 the Height's 130 they've got proper height Char unlik Park asri so we shall see some members of Staff using the pass to see if he's big enough they got an actual bar showing how big he meant to be so I think if be are right fingers crossed hey it's hard that he's at this point where he's on the line and we know he's 130 and you know when we have measured him occasionally he's been just slightly over as well but it's it's really hard it just needs to be that little bit bigger just to completely clear it with any 130 ride cuz like as you saw at Park asri he didn't get on Osiris here we go this is where the entrance of Voltron is so we're now in Croatia wow this is the entrance look at this Voltron Navara powered by remach or Voltron as literally everyone in the world calls it oh down in 60 minutes I'll take 60 Minutes the man said you could ride it yay he was really funny as well wasn't he yeah and not just that that chart show about a millimeter under didn't it yeah and the man was like no you're fine yeah he's 8 years old you can go on yeah happy tears brilliant he was a very friendly man him yeah had a bit of a laugh with him to [Music] [Music] Voltron done how long is it wait we waited an hour and 40 minutes was a long time long um had about 10 minutes of down time at the beginning of the we as well I'm want to cook the chase I didn't like it at all it was I've heard from other YouTubers Who theme par YouTubers I've heard that there's a couple of seats like a couple of trains one potentially even two trains where the shocks or something haven't been done properly and the rough as anything basically that was so rough what we were on um it came off with a massive headache it was just it was just too much basically it was rough as anything jolty rickety rly didn't like it at all yet I've heard on other trains it's smooth not too bad at all um for me it's wouldn't even met my top 10 I liked it I enjoyed the launch the launch was good I think the track layout is really good and it's really but it's very intense and I found it a little bit Ry as well it was quite uncomfortable at times and but we were on the back row all four of us were on the back row Josh and Ethan had the middle seats and me and Dave had the outside seats I don't know if it's something can do with that but I'm still holding to Tar as number one the boys however think differently yeah Tas are sell one for me but Ethan what you going to see volon is my new number one yeah I thought it was I thought it was really good I thought it was smooth on the on the middle seats so almost just been where you so I wonder if the actual back seat like the outside seat sorry have impact where you sit has impact on your ride experience and I do like the layout of the track though and I like all of it turns and everything like that but we've rode courses that have a lot of turns that don't feel as rough as that it did feel like we were being jolted around on the edges quite a bit and clearly the boys had middle seats and they enjoyed their ride more so maybe slightly different Mar ride experience on a different train or in different seats um you know it might be worth giving it another go tomorrow I'm seeing how yeah we'll give it another go tomorrow switch up the seats a bit don't about put Ean on the end though other than it being quite rough the effects were really good I loved the bit at the beginning where it lifts up and shakes around and lifts back down I did really enjoy the launch the launch was fantastic thought launching straight out of the station into that inversion was brilliant but it was just taking some of them turns was just a bit bit un htable at times be Bri yeah definitely need to refuel refresh and um and decide with the boys where we're going to go next the brow beer I think I don't know pronounce spell BR lovely lovely also it's a twoe old deposit on these cups I didn't realiz we were charged a two deposit on the small ones a got earlier as well and we just left them on the table so we basically left 8 Behind yeah sad anyway moving on this place is Hu honestly what time is it now we're at half fall barely barely scratched the surface I mean what Have We R today we K Co then we R um Madam FR something Madam FR Rees Freud and re's Curiosities yeah um what else did We R we did the Bob SL coer Bob SL coer Voltron Voltron that's only been on four things all day and um also the cu's the virtual oh we want the voma mad house as well oh yeah we yeah we did Cassandra the voma mad house and which was really good it had actually some extra thing extra elements in there that I've never had on a mad house never had a mad house where the the backs of the seats move or it feels like the snakes under your BT yeah it was quite funny actually that tickled all of us a little bit literally they touch you quite intimately those chairs um and I wasn't expecting that to be honest definitely didn't sign a waiver for that but yeah um like at least on um M of subterror all the do with that prod porker thing is pork you in the back this one porks you in the bum this goes right underneath your BM cheeks so yeah it was interesting wasn't it but it was quite it made it quite fun it made it a little bit more unique actually that it had some extra effect so I really enjoyed that the boing you enjoyed as well the boys are here by the way just in the shade cool and down but Voltron at the moment not even in the top 10 um we will ride it tomorrow we'll come in early early tomorrow we'll try and get a virtual queue for it if not we'll come straight to it and ride it again we should probably mention as well that um when you did actually go on to check virtual cues around about the 9:30ish Mark everything was gone everything was gone so virtu obiously sell out really fast so we're just going to try and get here a lot earlier we didn't actually get here for the Park opening this morning even though we are just across the road um just a few glitches oh the Red Lion Pub I suspect we're getting close to we are yes we are definitely the glob theater so you got the Red Lion oh look I love the buildings you got a rest the three pigl restaurant you got be 130 and over 10 to drive brother might just let you drive anyway can't ride I I can't ride because they just literally drew a picture of me spine um so my father got a hump back I work in an office so I'm seeing it in the Disney Vlog that I've never seen um petol car since because they're all get converted to Electric here we are you at a park like literally 2 Days Later pet car petol cars very fast operations on this car ride very fast Ean steing [Laughter] yeah bit more did you not I love that that was great that absolutely Lov that I was driving go over this way which one was a bit longer I know could have been a bit longer but it was great though I mean we waited what 10 minutes not good as the nice Scenic Boat Ride Austria in austa Austria got a rhin all oh it's nice and cool isn't it lovely the seah house restaurant look at that that's a duckling here getting about what we call underneath oh look at that swim little swim oh it's a diving dug oh I think it's a tuy it must be a bit of You tuy by tuy I mean Ted duck and Ted ducks are diving ducks oh what by the way to work in a wildfire Park which is why I all random s Ducks oh what is this yeah look at this looks Posh looking isn't it oh look it's got I you got some of the one of the uh you wrot up our characters there in the water oh this is look this this is gorgeous this isn't it and the fountains there as well on the background wow it look so so well maintained isn't it and you said it's recently been redone hasn't it yeah well they've done a great job this kind of reminds me of [Music] what's happened there he's trapped judging by the look of those cars and the track I think that's the same type of monal that was a black pleas beach before the down potentially oh look at [Music] that I've got a feeling this is going to be a long Vlog this one so much to say I don't want to cut any of it out oh we're in England aren't we no we're in Austria oh yeah that's right it's a giant screen that look at this this nice as it [Music] just about the disembark enjoyed that enjoy that yes very relaxing lovely right wooden roller coasters Josh is now going to lead us to Warden next is the Woody Warden uh and I thought that it was like Zeus at uh Park Asis and but it's not it's actually but like Wan at Al Towers lead on come here for your roller course the facts that's the one right John Josh John who's John Josh John lead the way lead the way John are we are here just in case you shorten a few tabs got one two three four five cigarette machines just just what everyone needs smoking cultur is a lot different in Germany it's almost extinct than England [Music] [Music] another random street that walking up ridiculously heavily themed to the country setting I believe this I believe this restaurant up here does fish and chips fish and chips the FJ restaurant this let's have a look there I'm pretty sure it does could be wrong that's that one there have a little look a menu cool yourself off a can't see if fish ships on there like oh maybe I read it [Music] wrong if you want to pause screenshot and Google translate that's what's on the menu didn't seem that bad the price to be [Music] fair there's definitely no fish and chips is there definitely no fishing [Music] chips observation skills uh minus 12 I can't believe this park is so big that it's got a absolutely huge wooden roller coaster and I still haven't seen it yet well like how do you hide a wooden roller coaster that's blue fire look at that picture on the horizon there is Ethan big enough for that yeah he is it's 130 Jesus is he got1 on 130 I don't know it's 1:30 that's mental and then sorry you're probably looking directly into sunlight now apologies and then that looks like the corner of a wooden roller coaster over there we'll see there a mon again I mean look at this man if you were you turn in this theme park it looks like the best theme park you've ever been to because it probably is oh this just audio and effect oh look at the fisherman Ethan he's trapped look the fish is bitty boom baby it's got a fire going over here how random you got a fish got a fire going this isimportant fish looks similar to the fish that were underneath our hotel room the Third Lake we've seen today of a tunnel to an well maybe screaming but other than that an absolutely immense roller coaster that we will be going on probably before the end of the day and then behind it over there see the crest of a Woody which is what we're aiming for next yeah we'll do a ruy before a smoothie that's another look at that that's another Water Co that that's Portugal it's yeah spot the see log FL that just look exactly like the other oneide went on earlier well actually it is it is a water coaster got a turnable oh look at this oh it goes down backwards nice oh we're going on that as well that goes backwards oh it's absolutely amazing here we're starting to cover some ground in the park now we start finding our feet aren't we yeah I mean seeing that I'm just following you Josh is navigating following Josh does I got land here by myself again tomorrow at this end j square one yeah and it's oh look at it's hug W look at the oh we finally found the Woody oh oh do you hide that look at the size of it that is immense oh that looks insanely good absolutely immense oh I cannot wait to ride that fun fact the reason they're covering in the sides like that on the drops and things is because of noise they're trying to mute the screams a bit so we'll hear them from here but they'll not hear them at the residential areas over on the side well we found the entrance and what an entrance it is oh my God it looks amazing looks good doesn't it son pretty Misty it looks like a comfortable seat though is it more comfortable the ride 35 either front row or the rest of the trains we being us we much rather go on the back so uh we're queueing for the rest of the trains also you'll wait a lot longer in the front row there's only two seats there that's the queue for front row see we only go down two at a time wheel go down an entire train at a time so a lot faster just come off Warden oh my God phenomenal incredible what like buy a long shot best ride of the day best ride of today got teeth that thing like we're all like it was like on a high it was that good so much it was it was really really outstanding I think out of all the Woodies that I R that's just gone in my from the top for me oh yeah best have ever thing on buy a long shot we even bought the photo look at that man look that photos by the way only €4 yeah but uh that's the photo it was oh so so good fantastic absolutely brilliant cannot wait to ride that again tomorrow good job CG we will absolutely be doing that what what what CGI good job ra knows all the technical nub about the coures ones International speech speeech it was that good I'm speechless so much fun so much fun amazing it looks like it's going to really hurt but it doesn't the seats was so comfortable and everything well the turns were smooth the turns were banged great blue fire next hopefully if we can get before the park closes we're going to try and get on blue fire it's half seven we'll get on blue fire we'll get on that and then we'll uh call it a day what a day we've had what a park what a roller coaster oh it has like it's got teeth in it hasn't it's got meat on the B by a long shot the best wooden roller coaster I have ever been on my favorite ride of the day Warden yeah also my favorite ride of the day I think everyone his favorite ride of the day we on the new multi-million pound Voltron that was just phenomenal I love the entrance as well the entrance is epic that's the entrance is something else look there it is there that I mean that's how you enter a roller coaster isn't it that's how your themeing entrance yeah look at that b show you how it's done and all the theming in the que line as well there's so much to look at the H like the that's blue fire in the back and so much to look yeah we only waited well it was estimated 35 how long did we wait uh we went not 35 Christ it's only been half an hour now yeah so 25 minutes we actually waited a shorter amount of time than it was estimated which was great it's fantastic got to say like the operations here today have been great they are just getting you on getting you off the dispatches are fast apart from Voltron having like about 10 minutes down time when we started queueing other than that I've seen not seen or heard any other the problems and everything's just really smooth isn't it sorry I'm still buzzing off that ride it was absolutely amazing oh it was so good I love it when a ride makes us feel that happy that's how I felt coming off to tart us and tatus is still my number one roller coaster I think I think I might have a wooden roller coaster in me top five now that was that good I mean that's definitely going to reide tomorrow definitely cuz that sounds at the one my number one is tus as of Monday uh number two you've got zadra number three you've got Shambala number four You' got icon and I think Warden may have just either took number five or maybe even beaten ncon to number number four I'm just going to I'm going to have to move a few things around till I can decide the order we have to write them all down and have a do a comprehensive study of what I really think my top five is but oh i t a lot about new cost credits cost amazing yeah got some lot of cost of credits on this trip yeah um right blue fire there it is yeah let's go see how long the C is uh hopefully not long blue fire on a 20 minute queue that'll do Ethan's just being measured there a 130 ride smashed it 130 there we'll go straight on fire whereas oziris on Monday even though he is measuring with proper stick today as well clearly over 130 still didn't that one so even though I didn't go on Iris it's all here because T is still there and I've it already it is a so is this going to mess things up I've got icon in graach at my number four or five number four potentially five five or four this is the same type of coaster to ma coaster almost identical trains everything about about the same but obviously this is significantly bigger got big loop there is it going to beat [Music] icon don't know I think it has potential yeah it has potential Ian if warden's anything to go by not just that this is the Mac Park like literally the it's owned by Mac and this is a Mac roller coaster so this is what's on the front of me um boook isn't it we shall see I'm excited yeah I'm glad that we actually got in the cube in this as well it's perfect time in getting off Warden and just coming round the corner to this this is really close still absolutely buzzing off Warden yeah if anyone toide if there's any ever reason to come here it's that roller coaster incredible epic I know keep talking about it but the thing was epic made my right I'm going to get a shot now of uh the launch on this course it looks really cool I think you all enjoy it just got off blue fire there yeah now I was nervous before getting on that cuz I was worried case it would be better than icon I'm happy to say it's not it was fun I really enjoyed the launch excellent it's not better than icon no icon still above that but um it was really good but uh icons definitely icons trains are better as well aesthetically yeah it was it was great it was good for icon's got two launches as well okay so the search for the warden shop CU just took us back on Warden again so one more ride before the park closes it's 5 to 8 the park shs in 5 minutes on so going have another ride in this go back and get some piz what a day what a day so that resulted in another ride on Warden we came off blue fire and Warden still had its barrier open um and the attendant was letting people on and it was like 5 to 8 so we thought yeah one last ride so we did it and it just absolutely blew down the track what an amazing day what an amazing Park so many big is we hav't done we haven't done Silver Star we haven't done Arthur we haven't done the water course today yeah we haven't done Ura haven't done urer there's like so many rides we haven't done yet there loads of attractions that we've still got to get on and we've got another two days to do it hopefully we're going to get around everything yeah I mean I Bo three days and I was starting to think oh did I need to boo three days yes I needed to boo three days so um it's evident when you get here that especially at this time of the year you know when it's like predominantly all all the schools are off and it's the summer it's going to be a lot busier than other times of the year but obviously is the only time we can do things like this um so it's probably being at maximum in capacity today how you imagine yeah probably we obviously we are tight in the school holidays which is why we do it all in the school holidays yeah um but brilliant here I mean what we on part number three of this trip now started with the amazing Park Aster with our new number one coaster to tartis then the park we will least looking forward to to be honest was Disney yet we ended up loving it absolutely loving it it was amazing um fantastic and then here we are again it just keeps opening itself again and again and again so let's hope it keeps doing this and then after this we've got Fantasia land which is a lot smaller a lot lot lot smaller we only have one day in Fant looks about the size of black wheel beer Beach Fantasia land but it's got some amazing them and some amaz rides and then we've got two days in aftering which God there's some and like theming in everything is next level apparently it's like a whole Fairy Tail land and then we're finishing off in an amusan Park wobby which has got an RMC there called Untamed yeah and lost lost gravity I'm look rideing lost gravity it'll be Ethan and Josh's first RMC oh we've also got the the FJ um Rapids to do tomorrow as well the Rapids haven't done them and then we've got the pirate ship pirate ship there's so much we haven't done like it one day is nowhere near enough we'll wrap it up there um but what an amazing day hope you've enjoyed coming along with us and discovering um Europa Park for the first time so we are in the Russia area now Mon oh there's mon in the background there so that's what our triangle thing was we drove past the ear I say drove past that because I was in the cars Voltron is still cycling but that's probably has got an our queue so having to get through that won't let anyone else in the queue now but get through that it's quite a that's the [Music] transition there's the cosmina rocket isn't it yeah when the Russian bit Russian food and burgers I know I said I was finished filming but hey there's some really interesting stuff to film and it's really quiet so why not [Music] now no we're in Italy right Venice yeah oh there's the G castle that we didn't get a chance to ride either this where we wa I feel like I'm starting starting to get me bearings in this place now haven't spotted Arthur yet though so that must be it up another end of the park very busy getting out isn't it he's [Music] big do we want to look in the shop no or tomorrow tomorrow we'll save it for tomorrow thanks in the first [Music]
