University of Utah Campus Store busy with fans for first game

we want to go to Alex Cabrera who is at the bookstore because Alex part of going back to football season is getting geared up oh absolutely Danny a lot of people want the latest gear that's available managers even overstaffed the campus bookstore knowing that things were going to be so busy between this bookstore here and the shop over at Reich rice Eckles that also sells you gear workers are there about 120 of them working in different rotations on different ships just to make sure that they are prepared for all the people who want new gear we also spoke with a lot of those fans excited about the new season and they say they are ready to go but there is one thing we kept hearing over and over again maybe it's not so much about getting the latest hat or Jersey these are the ones other players or any other new you gear at the campus store that makes a lot of people happy for the new season I always try to buy a new shirt for the first game maybe the reason why we love that college football is back is because it brings us together and I remember telling my colleagues when I was leaving yesterday I'm so excited to see my family it's why Cheryl keing took the day off these people that you come and tailgate with you consider them family even though you only see them during football season with so much division these days people seemingly arguing about every little thing the football stadium may be one of the few places where a Republican and Democrat or any other side of any other issue might hug each other in Joy when their team scores a touchdown absolutely uh we we call it a family so family sure is an important word in Utah and getting the latest gear as if everyone at Rices was taking one big family picture is one way to come together it's like Christmas again so Christmas in August game day is a special day for college football fans when the worries of the world can just melt away for a few hours and we can all cheer together yeah it's it's awesome there's nothing like it and we will see how that togetherness is when the youths play BYU here in a couple of months but truly that's what sports is all about cheering together respecting your opponent and just having fun Deanie it is good to have college football back oh isn't it though Alex uh thank you for that report hopefully we'll see all that red going on across the campus here tonight right
