Is this FINALLY the Year UF SHOCKS Everyone?

what's up Gator fans we are less than 10 days away from the start of the season so I'm going to give you guys my picks for the 12 games that are on uf's 2024 schedule this video is presented by bet us and I will talk more about them later okay so listen I'm gonna give you my two early season predictions and I'm gonna give you a caveat we lose to Miami I might have a different opinion in a few weeks but I'm tell you where I stand right now first game of the season out the gate in the swamp the Miami Hurricanes come to town and I think the Gators win I know I know cam Ward is the second coming Miami fans have told me in my mentions of videos and on Twitter for the last three weeks they cannot believe that I think Florida wins the quarterback b battle between Graham Merz and cam Ward but listen let me tell you why I think Graham Ward is incredibly talented his seal may be higher than Graham Merz if the two played week 11 I might have a different answer but the first game ever in a Cane's uniform is going to be in the swamp which is the toughest venue that Miami will play in this entire season first game with a new staff with new wide receivers entirely new team you cannot tell me the cam Ward we get week one will be the same cam Ward we get week 12 Graham Merz has the edge in this he is a returning leader of this football team playing at home with the crowd behind him I think he's a Difference Maker in this game we need our offensive line to play well Miami has an incredibly good defensive line but I really love the weapons that gr Merz is surrounded with this year and I think the Gators get week one I think they beat Miami in the swamp so that means they head into week two with Samford listen we have to play the games which is why we can never say that we're 100% certain that a team will win a game but I am 99% certain that the Florida Gator beak Samford week two do you know what that means that means we're rolling into week three undefeated and I kind of like Florida's chances against Texas A&M too and I know you guys are sitting at home like Vegas only has Florida winning four and a half five games you know we're going to start out the gate 3 and0 Alex I think we are I think that Texas A&M comes to town and I think the Gators beat him Texas A&M has a brand new head coach they've got a whole new system I think that it's going to take them a little bit of time to figure it out what they're doing word on the street is Joe Hamilton left Texas A&M because they were unorganized this is Joe Hamilton who had been on our staff went to Texas A&M for a whole new opportunity and ended up back in Gainesville and also listen the defense that Texas m is bringing to town pretty familiar with those guys they played on our defense last year which wasn't very good so I think the Gators beat Texas A&M in the swamp that means week four they head to Mississippi State sitting at 3 and 0 Mississippi States also got a brand new head coach in Jeff Libby um this is a challenge though right it is hard to play in Starkville the Gators have bad nightmares about games that have happened in Stark it's how Ron zuk ended up not the coach at the University of Florida and Billy Napier has struggled on the road I think this game ends up being closer than Gator fans would want it to be but I think UF leaves four and0 that means they head into swamp the beginning of October against Gus Malon and those golden knights from Central Florida and this is one of the games that the Gators have to win right this um is is important on a couple different fronts Florida needs to be able to dominate the state they need to win the games against instate teams I definitely wouldn't call UCF an instate rival but I'd like to beat them we certainly don't need to give those fans any ammo I think the Gators do handle UCF I just think talent for talent Florida is the better team I think they win and I think they win pretty handily so what does that mean that means they're five and0 headed to Knoxville this is where I think Florida picks up their first loss um I really do think that Josh hypo has things cranking in Tennessee I think the last couple of years Florida has had the benefit of playing Tennessee very very early in the season it's generally week three I think getting them week six where they are really kind of hitting their stride is going to be a little bit hard um and nean stadium is an incredibly difficult place to play I think the gator Dro their first one on the road to to Tennessee kind of a Crossroads at this point though right you come back from that game your first loss of the Season you roll into week seven you've got Kentucky in the swamp you might be licking your wounds from that loss up at neand Stadium but you got Mark sto to come into town who has beaten you the last three years we're talking about the same Kentucky team you at one point had a 27-year win streak against the Gators have to get their monkey off their back it's got to happen this year and I think you're going to be doing it off of an emotional loss so this is going to be a spot where we can look to and we can say have Napier teams grown are this is this program headed in the right direction can they rebound after a tough road loss and I think the answer is yes I think this is the year that we finally get rid of this Kentucky curse the monkeys off our back Florida is six and one headed into the Georgia game and this is where it gets tough but before we get to this brutal stretch let me give bet us some love Georgia this game's in Jacksonville I don't think Florida wins I do think we see a more competitive game than we've seen before what I will be looking at is is Florida in it in the second half did did anybody quit did we do anything stupid did we keep fighting those things happen you keep this game close I think that that's a good thing I do think Georgia just has the dogs right now then you fly into Austin to take on Texas and Steve sarkeesian this is a tough game as well Texas is one of the top teams in the country and as much as I would love to tell you that I think Florida upsets Texas on the road I don't I think Texas wins this game too so that at that point Florida is sitting at 6 and three headed back home to the swamp against LSU and Brian Kelly but I think the Gators play a great game here I think that there is a very very good chance Florida can beat LSU at home it's going to depend on what that mindset looks like after what I'm predicting to be back-to-back losses three losses out of the past four games but if this team can get their mind right and come back to the swamp I Florida plays LSU incredibly well in the swamp and I think they can get a win next week after that Old Miss comes to town unfortunately I do think Lane kein and his boys are going to be just too much for the Gators I think they pick up another loss at that point but Florida is still beating those Vegas odds at this point right I think that uh Florida state is how they finish the season and guys I predicting that they go into Tallahassee and beat Florida State I think that Florida state is going to be down a little bit from where they were last year I I think all their dogs graduated right they're playing in the NFL they they you know moved on I think that UF goes to the swamp I mean excuse me goes into Tallahassee gets the victory Allah ronz field in 2020 or 2004 and I don't think Billy apier is going anywhere right and I think that that means he has taken care of business against the instate teams which is probably the most important thing on his checklist he's gotten that Kentucky game off of his back my predictions are right he's beaten LSU I would say all in all he has exceeded expectations if this plays out like I have predicted it to play out all right so there you have it Gator fans I have UF going 8 and4 I know that that is much higher than what Vegas is predicting but I think that there are some opportunities in this schedule where Florida gets teams at the right time if they take advantage of it I really think this team can have a very strong season
