welcome back another episode Charles is recording the last voiceover for the episode as the group wraps off the most recent season of their podcast only murders in the building at the start of the premiere Charles and Oliver joke that the building hasn't experienced a power outage of that magnitude since the building incinerator was in operation when a power surge briefly throws everything off following the podcast's conclusion the gang goes up to Charles's house for a night cap to our surprise as viewers SAS who you may remember from the season 3 finale is nowhere to be found and Charles flat is vacant the group is too preoccupied to notice the indications that something weird happened around them but we can see blood on the oven handle and The Gunshot hole in the glass when Charles wakes up the next morning he discovers that SZ has not replied to any of his texts and he can constantly hear whistling coming from within his apartment but before he can look into it Oliver and mael appear with Loretta immediately departing New York to seek a job in Hollywood and Oliver going into a ta spin after Donna and Cliff cut off funding for death rattle Charles is about to tell them about hearing the whistling sound when Howard enters the room with gravy his new dog that he recently adopted he is unaware of her previous employment as a work dog he hastily leaves after making a presentation to Mabel about a podcast about working dogs as gravy starts barking erratically as though something is wrong a woman from Paramount Pictures has contacted Charles and Ma to express interest in converting their podcast into a movie as we learn when Oliver loses his mind over his Broadway musical being shut down after only a few performances at first Charles is unsure as he shares with the group his worries about not being able to get in touch with SAS and his belief that the whistling he keeps hearing is the universe alerting him to a problem because it appears that SAS was a Whistler Bev informs the group that if the film is released before to Christmas it may be a box office hit Oliver Charles and Mabel had assumed that this would only be a preparatory meeting to talk about the movie but it appears the studio has already been working hard on it they even have a cast lined up and the filming is scheduled to start in a few short weeks Mabel excuses herself when Charles employs some odd negotiation techniques and the guys rush outside to see how she's doing Mabel tells them she's a little overwhelmed but her main concern is whether she wants to be perceived as the homeless jobless mumbler that they depicted her as Charles Oliver and mael get together the three discover that the loud Applause they hear on their approach to the Celebration isn't for them but rather for Eugene Levy Eva Longoria and Zach Galifianakis who are the actors who will be portraying them in the movie Zack teases Oliver saying he's considering playing the character as gifted and successful in order to give it a distinctive spin Eugene on the other hand is thrilled to talk to Charles and seek his advice regarding the part unfortunately Charles abruptly ends the chat since all he can think about is sass is SAS truly gone after sneaking into saz's flat with Oliver and Mabel Charles picks the lock to let himself in they hear a f all and speculate that SAS might be there but they are wrong Charles finds messages concerning him which makes him even more suspicious that she might not be at home Lester calls regarding the note Charles left asking for his apartment's window to be fixed while they're Turing the space the sole issue is that Charles failed to leave a note Mabel gets a text from Howard at this same moment informing her that gravy was a Cav dog this makes her anxious because she remembers the dog barking in the apartment for more videos subscribe
