New England Patriots Waive Bailey Zappe My Thoughts!!

yo what's going on guys it's Houston Sports Talk Back another video to day and today the Newan Patriots have waved quarterback bayy zappy who was a fourth round pick in the 2022 NFL draft 137th overall uh zappy last year started six games for the New England Patriots and played in 10 games and in those 10 games he had a two and four record with the New England Patriots I remember one of those wins that he had was uh had a really nice performance in Pittsburgh on a Thursday night football I don't remember their other win with zappy but I do remember watching that Thursday night football against the Steelers when zappy had a great performance I remember Hunter Henry had a great game um he wasn't that bad as the starter he threw 127 for 212 was completion percentage of 60% um through 12 over a little bit over 1,200 yards 1,272 passing yards six passing touchdowns and eight interceptions I know those are a lot of interceptions but um you know in that situation not expecting to be the star of the backup quarterback for a backup quarterback those stats are not terrible um in 2022 he was able to start in two games for the New England Patriots and in two games the Patriots went 2 and 0 he threw 65 for 92 and he had a completion percentages 71% he threw 781 passing yards five passing tou touchdowns throwing three interceptions the Patriots choose Joe Milton uh the third to be the qb3 and the Patriots QB room instead of bayy zappy I don't know about the decision I thought Joe looked pretty good in his first couple preseason games but I watched the commanders game on Sunday night uh Sunday night preseason football on NBC and to be completely honest I didn't think Joe looked pretty good at all uh I actually thought he looked pretty bad but uh Happ did not play in Sunday night's game the Sunday Night Football game uh which I think was a you know sign that you were potentially going to see zappy get cut and not make the 53 men roster uh if you know if you're going to see the Patriots it it would have been it would have been different if if you know it was just Joe Milton that played quarterback for the Patriots on Sunday night and the Patriots didn't play their first two quarterbacks in the roster but jacobe pret started for the Patriots we saw Drake May for a while and then there was Joe Milton there was no sign of bayy zappy in the game on on Sunday night so really shows that the Patriots were already considering cutting bayy zappy let me know your thoughts on the roster cut for the Newland Patriots in the comment section and peace out
