How Maika Monroe became the ultimate horror actress.

hey guys this is the movie geek and today we're going to talk about the beautiful deadly Thriller Queen mic Monroe we're going to list five of her most successful movies before we get started if still probably does it follows after a seemingly innocent sexual encounter Jay is blaked by strange visions and incapable sense of someone or something is following her faced with this burden Jay and her friends must find a way to escape the horrors that seem to be only few steps behind the film's concept is derived from a reoccurring nightmare that the director used to have in which he would be stalked by a predator that continually walked slowly towards him why I like this movie so much is because in the past few years more and more Horrors have relied on jump scares to deliver that sense of dread well in this movie you can feel dread almost immediately because it combines so well with the tone it went over 23 million worldwide against just 1.3 million budget it has since achieved a cult following with many calling it modern horror classic and one of the best horror films of that time AA was just beginning but she delivered an outstanding performance and she really made me scared and worried that it would catch her and also empathize with her for having such bad luck and of course convinced me on her next project movie number four is one of my favorites which I've talked about in a previous video where I've listed five of the best horror movies ever you can check it out is a thrilling funny and very enjoyable villains a couple who are on the road and just robbed a gas station stumble into a house where they find out that the owners of the house have a little girl chain in their basement the movie is really funny and the romance between our not too smart couple is really capturing and so much fun to watch and it's also very quick and it has Harmony between the comedy and drama and action and the plot was so genuine and the script was so connected and almost Flawless the whole thing might seem small due to the limited set and really small cast but man the story shined and expanded that at some moments it leaves you on the edge of your seat and fun fact is that they only had a week and a half or 10 days before they started shooting to get to know each other and build that chemistry and that chemistry between them was so vital and they mastered it I fell in love with the characters and I felt the love that they had for each other so deeply and Micah's work on the movie was Exquisite as well as B's cour guard they were both incredible together movie number three is the subtle and creepy surprising significant other follows a young couple who take remote backpacking trip through the Pacific Northwest and face Sinister events leading them to realize that everything that they experience is not exactly as it seems I don't want to tell you the blood of the movie because it doesn't reveal it in the trailer and I don't want to spoil it for you but this is a review of the film that says the first few minutes may be slow moving but don't let that demotivate you from checking this one out this is one of those Indie sci-fi thriler gyms that deserve an audience being an 84 minutes only spect iCal and considering the loost production with just less than five actors and actresses this is truly a Marvel and I completely agree and definitely go check it out movie number two as a serial killer talk the city Julia a young actress who just moved into town with her boyfriend notices a mysterious stranger watching her from the window staring right into her living room I watched this movie a couple times and the amazing thiller kep me on the edge of my seat through the entire movie and Mel Monroe was just amazing and she played her part so well she delivered every feeling of anxiety and personal space Invasion that I felt everything along with her and the creepy killer guy was amazing too but you'll have to watch it to know who it is because I'm not going to spoil it for you this was also an independent movie which means the budget was so tight but it did so well and it was also critically acclaimed and by now you know that Michael Monroe is the ultimate Indie movie girl our movie of The Day the movie number one is the one and only long legs I'm guessing everybody who's everybody knows about it by now and like 99% of us have watched it Mel Monro strikes again and this time along with Nicholas Cage and that's a deadly combo the film talks about the FBI agent Lee Harker who is a gifted new recruit assigned to the unsolved case of an elusive serial killer as the case takes complex turns unearthing evidence of the occult Harker discovers a personal connection to the mercil Skiller and must Race Against Time to stop him before he claims the lives of another inent family long Megs in my opinion is one of those movies where you keep wishing it was over and still want to enjoy it it's kind of like a ride in a horror house you know it's just a game but you want it to be over because it keeps you on the edge of your seat like you're almost going to have a heart attack it's smooth based and does not include many details but it just gets you to the point and focuses on the horror parts and the incredible performances of the amazing actress that's a wrap thank you guys for watching and if you like my
