on one of his albums that I brought along with me and I did indeed meet larger rendition of my favorite singer songwriter uh and I did it in oils and it's a picture of course of Bruce uh sitting beside uh Lake Louise from a photograph that I found in one of his album covers and um I completed this in O what are your thoughts on this uh war and Terror in Afghanistan I just think that it's probably you know there's a right and wrong reason I think right now they're doing it for the wrong reason I let them I think to support our troops we should bring them home I think so I think that's a real support for our troops I just think that killing for the wrong reasons for for these politicians is just not not what it's meant for and I just that's how I support my troops I feel like I'm wrong some points some people think that's it's not right but I think bringing him home is the best thing for our shs well it was in 2013 that I decided to change things with this uh painting by uh changing the uh ukulele that Bruce was holding into a rocket launcher and I did so uh in front of the gates of the um uh Edmonton Folk Festival uh the very day that Bruce curn was on stage and I did it and protest from uh something that he had said while uh visiting the troops in Afghanistan and uh entertaining him with the with the very song Rocket Launcher song but he said um it's a long discussion on whether we should be in Afghanistan whether anyone should be in Afghanistan he said we are and since we've gone this far I don't think it's appropriate to leave I was already against this war in Afghanistan stand in
