Stunning Date Night Looks

Intro [Music] hey everyone it's mallory i'm so excited to be here with all of you for this month's style in motion i'm here in sunny california switching things up from minnesota and trading it in with a few palm trees and i'm excited to try on some fun date night looks Look 1 i love this black maxi dress i think it's so classic and pretty yeah it has this little edge through the neckline and the detailing and how it kind of gives that nice fitted feature just through the top is really nice because it creates that waist but it's still super comfy it's got little pockets in it for those of you out there who are seated on four wheels like myself i love that this fabric is so soft and light because it really lets you kind of play with it a little bit and right now i haven't tucked a little just make sure that length hits right at my front wheels the right way so it's not too long so i can still show off these adorable dolce vita sandals so i'm loving this look i think it gives me all the effortless vibes that sometimes you're just going for bounce around to some patios and do happy hour with girlfriends or your spouse and enjoy that date night out treating yourself [Music] Look 2 sets they are all the rage i'm loving them right now because it's such a fun versatile way to get so many different looks and this one is so fun and flirty this neckline shows off your shoulders when you're on four wheels and you're sitting you always want to find ways to bring the eye in because you kind of lose that mid body shape pretty easily depending on the outfit and i think all of us are kind of trying to find ways to really bring a waistline into outfits in a way that's comfortable that allows us to feel confident and sexy so when we talk date night looks i'm loving this look i've been super open about the fact that my husband and i are going through an ivf journey we're six months in my belly has seen nearly 300 injections at this point we are knee-deep and it is getting grueling at this point if i'm being honest it's physically challenging it is emotionally challenging and sometimes we all just need to throw on that fun flirty look go out for a night on the town with our spouse or our girlfriends and just get a night away from it all and just let ourselves be and enjoy and so i'm excited to be trying on some date night looks and we are doing just that here in sunny california rocking those tan lines and all so let's try in the next look [Music] i talked about the versatility of sets and this is what i'm talking about i love that you can then break this out and wear this beautiful tank blouse with a pair of you can throw on a pair of denim i put them on with the citizens of humanity lila boot cuts and i'm loving them because i love a good high-rise waistline and adding that little bit of flare on the bottom is just such a fun way to kind of balance out the look right and you can just throw on a simple little dolce vita slide and you're set to go it's such a fun way to play again with this really flirty top and add just a nice big gold hoop and keep that jewelry really simple if you're going on a little day date you're going to the farmer's market in the morning you could throw this on with my favorite a goldie parker shorts they are my go-to in all shorts i like wearing the cuff because i can keep them cuffed i can uncuff them i kind of get the versatility of length with that so there's kind of two ways you can play with this top again the versatility of breaking that set up and doing different things kind of taking it day to night however you please or wherever your day date or date night takes you Look 3 now when we talk date nights we all deserve to treat ourselves a little bit and this page dress does not disappoint there's so many things i love about it but for starters this beautiful flutter detailing on the sleeve there's so many tear dresses that i want to try on and i do and frankly it's just too much fabric for me but this one strikes that balance where you've got the effect of the tear and you have that little elevated look but it's not too much so this to me feels like the perfect dress to wear out on a date night to my husband and i's favorite little italian restaurant sit on the patio maybe a glass of rose and enjoy a night the two of us maybe for just that little moment in time being able to let go of the worries that so many of us have right now in these seasons of our lives and just enjoy an evening with the one you love most today was so fun trying on all the date night looks and just a reminder to take that moment despite what you're going through in life and just slow down can't wait to see you all again next month for style in motion and hope you all are having a great start to your summer
