iPhone 16 & iPhone 16 Pro First Look - Boring? Iterative? Affordable?

Intro is it just me or was this one of the most boring Apple launches in a long long time regardless of that Apple announced multiple new products we got new Apple watch series 10 we got an apple airpods fourth generation which is new we also got the new upgraded airpods Max with typ-c cable and new colors nothing more and of course we have the iPhone 16 and the 16 Pro where there are definitely a lot of changes that we need to talk about including one very awesome change for India what could that awesome change be take a while to guess in the comment section below and I'll tell you guys in Du course of the video all right let's talk about the iPhone 16 series and we've got Hands-On footage right from copertino shot by none other than Arun and sjit if you're here for the gorgeous that ultramarine color is love and that other teal color is also very good-looking plus there are a bunch of changes to the design as well for example the camera layout has been changed I'll talk about that in a bit the B 16 and 16 plus now do get that action button which I haven't used much on the iPhone 15 Pro Max and you've got that new camera control button which by the way is the headliner or the main design change in iPhones this year let's try to understand what this camera control button can do like the name suggests you can immediately open it and capture an image which is obvious to be expected but it's got a touch surface and it's got a taptic engine right below it so if you lightly touch that button all of the menu goes away and what you get is just a frame so that you can frame your picture better and just tapping it and sliding it can actually change across different exposure levels and if you double tap that camera control button then you can cycle through different uh you know settings of the camera itself for example you can even change the aperture but there was also one very interesting thing that Apple showcased where you could actually use this camera button as a visual you know intelligence tool basically what Apple showcased was that if you're out and about in the real world and if you see the flyer of a music concert that you wish to go you can just showcase your phone to the flyer hit the camera control button and immediately add it to your calendar pretty intuitive stuff definitely but something that we have to see working in action but one thing that's very certain from the way that Apple demoed the camera control button is that it felt like a way more useful button to me than the action button itself would you agree now coming back Camera to the iPhone 16 and 16 plus redesigned camera layout it looks like of course the iPhone 10 but there's a reason for it to be that way it's because if you want to capture spatial video then the camera has to be laid out that way now the rear cameras on the iPhone 16 and the 16 plus have actually been upgraded the iPhone 16 and the 16 plus now come with an upgraded 48 MP Fusion camera which of course does better at photography what Apple claims now while Apple uses this liberally I wouldn't say that it is actually Optical you know Zoom quality at 2x but Apple says that they've improved the pipeline to make it look actual at you know Optical quality with 24mp outs at 2x but more importantly I like the fact that the 12mp ultra wide angle camera now has autofocus with which you can actually shoot better you know quality Ultra wide angle shots with better quality performance in low light as well but more importantly you can also shoot macro shots with the base iPhone now which is damn cool however there were no you know upgrades mentioned about the selfie camera itself so I'm presuming it's the same but what took me by price was the new a18 chip inside the iPhone 16 now this chip is definitely much much more powerful compared to the A1 Bic that's currently inside the iPhone 15 the first thing that the a18 enables because of the upgraded npu that it has is Apple intelligence which makes the Iphone 15 and the 15 plus obsolete technically because the 16 and the 16 plus can do Apple intelligence and the a18 has support for rate racing plus the phone itself has a better cooling solution now this is by a thermal shet which offers 30% better sustained performance in gaming uh workloads compared to the iPhone 15 series it also takes 35% less power and offers up to 50% faster CPU performance compared to the iPhone 15 by the way all of this enables the GPU to be 40% more powerful as well essentially what you will get is AAA gaming that was possible on the 15 Pro will now be possible on the 16 so basically games like Assassin's Creed games like you know Resident Evil Village all of that will will run on the 16 series and it's not just the performance even the battery life has been improved on the iPhone 16 basically you get a bigger battery therefore you get the longer battery life and that's also because the A8 itself is also a much more power efficient chip now but there are a couple of problems in the iPhone 16 series and I must mention that even before I test it I know that that's going to be an issue is the fact that the iPhone 16 still comes with only 60 HZ display and it still has a base of 128 GB storage anyway the iPhone 16 starts at the same 80,000 rupees price point as the iPhone 15 last year so at least the price hasn't bumped up so iPhone 16 Pro First look that's good now let's talk about the pros and there there might not be too many changes it's very iterative this year so with the pro what you get firstly are those slim doubt bezels and therefore larger displays so the pro has a 6.3 in display and the pro Max has a 6.9 in display now plus that camera control button that is there on the pro as well of course there are new colors in the Pro Series 2 and all of of them look extremely Plain Jane and boring especially that hero color the desert titanium looks okay now if the 16 and the 16 plus got the a18 the 16 Pro and the pro Max get the a18 pro now what's the difference between the8 Pro and the a18 you ask well it's got a six core GPU instead of 5 Core GPU and of course the A8 pro has a faster CPU compared to the a18 and according to Apple that makes it the fastest CPU on a smartphone yet by the way the upgraded GPU means that all of the AAA titles that you've been playing till now on the 15 Pro and the 15 Pro Max yeah they will perform even better and in the chassis the entire substrate of the 16 Pro and the 16 Pro Max is made of a graphite thermal sheet which means that you know heat dissipation will be much better this year and sustained gaming will be much better too oh by the way the batteries are larger this year on the pro as well so you can expect slightly better battery life but Apple hasn't said anything and by the way the max save standard also supports ch2 now which is good which is the latest standard of wireless charging protocol which by the way is also supported on the iPhone 16 and the 16 plus now in cameras there's definitely been an upgrade so what you get is a 48 MP Ultra wide angle camera now which is of course much much better quality than the previous generation ultra white on the 15 Pro and the 15 Pro Max by the way this time the regular Pro will also get the 5x Tetra prism technology and not a 3X camera which is a bit of a bummer honestly because 3x is a nice sweet spot if you asking there are a few camera specific features that you know Apple did talk about is that photographic Styles now gets a huge upgrade of course you have different kinds of photographic Styles but you also get granular control but more importantly you don't need to you know shoot with the photographic style preed you can actually change the photographic style once you've shot the picture as well by the way when you're using photographic Styles you will be able to see the preview of the photographic Style on your viewfinder which is good and one of the other biggest changes on the pro series is definitely the fact that you can shoot 4K 120 FPS video in fact you can shoot 4K 120 FPS press log as well you also have the option to record spatial audio on the phone itself and you've got this feature called audio mix it was one of the cooler implementations that Apple showcased this year basically what you can do is you can isolate the sound or the voice of a of a person from the environment you can also create studio quality sound you can also create cinematic sound it's actually very well done of course something we'll again have to test out also a feature coming later in voice memos is multitrack where you'll be able to actually isolate different tracks out uh for you know Pro Audio users this will be very very helpful all right so about that good news for Indian iPhone users is that the iPhone Pro Series the 16 Pro and the 16 Pro Max have seen a price cut this year except for the fact that the 16 Pro starts at 120 GB which is so stupid I don't know why it should have started at 256 GB but at least the pro Max starts at 256 GB and the price difference is quite a bit it starts at 1 145,000 rupees this year whereas last year it was 1 160,000 rupees so whether you're an iPhone user or not are you planning on buying one of the iPhones this year let in the comment section below also if you're planning on buying will start on September 13th by Apple Watch Series the way but the biggest change this year has to be Apple Watch series 10 that jet black Apple Watch series 10 and the new squar off design oh my God it looks really really good in fact the display is larger than that of the Apple watch Ultra is what Apple says so with the new display design you get a wideangle display which means that actually if you view uh the display at an angle it will still be very bright it's about 40% brighter at you know the most extreme angle that you can view the display at now the aod also refreshes each second so if there's a clock ticking you can see that too oh by the way it's the thinnest Apple watch ever made at 9.7 mm and it's got a 50 m depth rating or 5 ATM by the way the speakers are louder this time around so much so that apple is confident enough to actually use uh the speakers to play music and podcast as well Apple also promises faster charging speed this year so 30- minute charge will actually charge the uh watch from 0 to 80% by the way the new health tracking feature that the Apple Watch series 10 introduces is actually the option to track sleep apnea which is basically the irregular breathing that someone has while sleeping it'll be able to track that also this feature will be available in series 9 and the watch Ultra 2 by the way so the series 10 starts at 47,000 rupees in India would you buy it by the way the Apple watch Ultra 2 also gets a design upgrade and it's available in a gorgeous satin black color plus that new uh titanium millanes Loop it looks gorgeous especially that Buckle looks damn nice all right now to Airpods talk about the airpods the airpods uh Pro doesn't get any upgrade but they did talk about how the airpods pro can actually be used as a hearing aid now like it's a officially certified one so that's pretty cool and the airpods max everyone was expecting like a new airpods Max to come it was basically just a type-c upgrade and a color upgrade that's about it the base airpods actually has an upgraded design now so the housing itself has been changed a little bit in terms of How It's shaped apparently Apple says that it will fit more your types and because of this new design apple is confident enough to offer a different ANC variant of this airpods now what that means is that two different prices for two different products so the base one is priced at 13,000 rupe and you know the one withc is $18,000 R all right so this was like Conclusion a quick recap and first look at all that Apple announced at the event today of all these products the one that you know really is the interesting one and definitely the iPhone 16 series the 16 and the 16 Pro Max for sure but more importantly the 16 itself which is very
