MY CHAMPIONS LEAGUE 24/25 LEAGUE PHASE PREDICTIONS

the Champions League draw has been completed for the brand new league phase of this season's competition and today I'm showing you my full predictions from first to 36th in that new league table and the results that will get us there if you don't know how it works as per usual there are four pots full of teams that are drawn against each other to determine fixtures but this year instead of a group stage we have a league table all 36 teams will play eight League games against randomly generated teams with two from each pot once all of these games have concluded the top eight teams automatically go through to the round of 16 teams placed 9th through 24th go into the round of 16 playoff games that are home and away and the remaining teams are all eliminated completely from European competitions there is no more dropping down into the Europa League or anything like that so first we got the pot one teams and all of their fixtures generated this is what that looks like and it might be a little bit overwhelming but Real Madrid's eight League phase fixtures are Dortmund at home Liverpool away so there's two teams from pot one their pot two teams are Milan at home and Atalanta away for pot three it's Saltsburg at home and Le away and pot four they've got stutgart at home and breast away so no playing a team at home and away anymore it's just eight randomized games and at the end of it you will have a points total and this forms the league table so I'm going to try and make this as simple as I can it's not going to be close to my old Champions League predictions where it was you'll finish first you'll finish fourth but let's do it so the way I'm going to do my predictions is simply no score predictions but a win draw or a loss in each fixture for each team to determine their points and then at the end I've created my own table to see who gets eliminated who's going straight through and bypassing that knockout round that is for the middle set of teams so let's start things off with Real Madrid their fixtures are on the screen right there and this is how I think they are going to end up I think they're going to beat Dortmund draw away at Liverpool beat Milan and Atlanta as well as all of the pot three and pop four teams that is going to see Real Madrid get a whopping 22 points cuz they're pretty good and even though they've got some hard fixtures it could be worse Man City are up next and they are seeing a similar fate as Real Madrid I have got them getting 20 points I think they could easily drop points away at uve as well as at home to Inter Milan who are underrated Bayern Munich are up next and they once again face off against Barcelona I have them getting 18 points I think they'll draw away at Barca at home to Benfica and away at Aston Villa who are a pop four team and I think they'll win the rest PSG have a really really tough set here so I've got them getting 11 points I think they'll lose against City and Bayern Munich draw against Athletico at home that's optimistic lose to Arsenal beat PSV and Saltsburg draw to Jona and beat stutgart and we'll have to see where that puts them in the final table Liverpool are the next team up here and I have got them getting 18 points I think they're going to drop against bologna just one of those random ones where you'll just end up losing some points and lusen and Real Madrid Inter Milan are the next team in pot one and I have them also getting 18 points I think they will drop points against Man City Arsenal and Leverkusen and I think that they will win the remaining fixtures Dortmund are our seventh team and they actually are up against Barca and Real Madrid I see them getting 14 points here losses against the two Spanish Giants and then a draw at Celtic as well as against bologna leap Zig the penultimate team in partt one I think they're going to struggle and get 10 points I think they'll lose against Liverpool and get draws against juuve Athletico sporting and Villa and beat Celtic and Sturm grats and the final team in pop one we've got Barcelona who I have getting 20 points I think people are going to underestimate Barca but I think they're going to drop points against Bayern Munich because it's what they do beat Dortmund and Atlanta draw away at Benfica that's not going to be easy but then the other fixtures are relatively kind to them so I think they're going to get 20 points let's look at partt two now hope hopefully you understand everything so on to pot two so the way this this worked during the draw was they already knew their pot one opponents because of course they'd already been drawn against them but now they get drawn against other pot two pot Three Pot four you understand I hope so starting off with Byer lusen obviously fantastic last season I think they're going to do pretty well I've got them getting some decent draws and then some big wins to take them on 18 points Atletico Madrid famously a very astute team to come up against a away against in the Champions League I think they are going to get 16 points grind out draws against the bigger teams and then go and beat the Lesser ones Atlanta a relative newcomer to really competing in these kind of competitions I think they're going to find it a little bit harder lose against a lot of the bigger teams and then win against the Lesser ones although a random draw away at stutgart I've thrown in there to give them 13 points next up is Juventus they're getting 12 points okay they're losing to Villa and Man City getting some okay draws and then a couple of wins against lesser teams followed by benf who I have getting 14 points I feel like Benfica are a tough team right a pretty tough team so I think they're going to get a lot of stubborn draws and then grind out some wins against some of the lower teams to get them 14 points Arsenal up next obviously fantastic in the Premier League last season not as incredible in the Champions League but I've got them getting a whopping 20 points here dropping points away against inter and away at sporting assuming that joarez is still there Club Bru a bit of a Whipping Boy in this pot it has to be said I think they're going to get five points from eight games I'm sorry but I think they're going to lose to AC Milan Juventus City d Villa get a draw at sporting and then beat spelic and draw against Sturm grats shakar face a similar fate in my opinion we're going to give them seven points they're going to pick up wins against young boys and breast and get a draw away at PSV but lose the other fixtures and finally for partt two we have AC Milan got some big fixtures in there but I think they're going to get about 13 points here losing against Liverpool Madrid and Leverkusen and a draw against Jona but wins in the other fixtures so you can already see some of these teams are going to be finishing above the ones in pot one so this table at the end is going to be interesting into pot three we go and this is where we are really going to see teams either need to bring out some kind of Miracle or they are heading into that elimination zone so we start off with fire Nord as the first team in here and I am going to give them 10 points wins against saltzburg Le and Sparta Prague and a draw away at Jona then we have sporting who I'm giving 11 points I think that did just going to get some good draws in these games and then beat liil and Sturm Gratz followed by PSV up next I have them with nine points again a couple of wins and then some decent draws GN K Damo Five Points I think they'll beat Bratislava get draws against Celtic and Monaco Red Bull salt Berg I think seven points for them beat D beat barest and draw against Sparta Prague Le I really don't think are going to do well I have them getting three points one win against STM grats that's it Red Star Belgrade up next with four points for me a win against young boys and a draw against Monaco young boys coming in with the first Donut for me I genuinely can see them losing every single game here they really do not have good fixtures I think they're going to get slapped and then Celtic are they going to underperform or overperform eight points I've got them getting I think they'll beat young boys Bratislava and then draw against Damo and Dortmund eight might be enough to get you through to the next round we'll have to wait and see and now we see pot four the final set of fixtures I know there's been a lot but here we go starting off with Bratislava zero points as Monaco got a really really tough set of fixtures so I think they're only going to get two points because they're really really difficult Sparta Prague I have got getting two points in this league phase Aston Villa though there such a good team I think they're going to smash it because they've got a pretty favorable draw for any of the fourth pop teams I'm giving them 18 points is that mental maybe but it's Emory he's really good in European competitions and next up are bologna who I also think are going to do pretty well I've got them getting 14 points they were really impressive in serialis season although they have lost a couple of players I still think they'll do well jerona also had a fantastic season lost a player or two here or there so I think they'll get a few less points than maybe they would have 10 points for them followed by stutgart who I am putting down as 1 points I think they're basically just going to really really take advantage of the pop three and four fixtures they've got STM grats unfortunately I'm putting them down for one fluky away Point home whatever and the last team are breast who I've got getting four points so now let's culminate this all into a big table and see who I have got getting knocked out of the competition who's going into the Knockouts and who is getting straight through to the next round and so the moment of Truth here is my league table for the first ever League phase of the Champions League so the top eight teams go through automatically to the next round and for me that is Real Madrid Man City Arsenal and Barca and then I actually have one team that's going to go out on goal difference so we've got Bayern Munich Inter Milan Liverpool Bay Leverkusen and Aston Villa who I have knocked down into the next tier next up we have the teams that have to face off against each other in order to get into the next round so these are the qualifiers that will have a two-legged tie against each other Villa at the top unfortunate not to go through Atletico Benfica Dortmund Milan and bologna then moving down the points we've got Atlanta stutgart who as I said are going to get a little fortunate with their fixtures I think Juventus PSG sporting fard gerona leop Zig PS V and Celtic just sneaking in so what does that mean there are 12 teams that are completely eliminated at this stage and those are as follows even on Seven Points we've got Saltsburg and shakar going out followed by Damo Club brouge Red Star Belgrade breast Le Monaco Sparta Prague Sturm Gratz young boys and bartis Slava so those are my full predictions this took a a lot more work than it
