HEAD ON COLLISION: ORLANDO CITY WAS CLOBBERED BY SPORTING KC | WHAT HAPPENED? #MLS

[Music] n [Music] oh [Music] hello every everyone welcome to L and pride Orlando it's Monday August the 26 uh 7:38 p.m. thank you so much for being live with us about 12 people live I know that I you know I didn't do my usual posting today but I've been a little busy but uh definitely appreciate you guys tuning in uh we have a unfortunate news you know another loss a loss after being unbeaten for a while you know uh our unbeaten stre went to a halt there's nothing you know unfortunately you know there's nothing more that we could say that's just it was a terrible performance by the Lions an eight game on being run in all competitions came to a very fast halt in a very sart performance by the Lions 3-0 loss to Sporting KC um and you know it's you know I don't you know we had two weeks off and you know these are a couple things that could occur we're going to dive in into what happened you know why why did we look so bad what worked why didn't work the YT didn't save us again this time you know but definitely Oscar Bara was disappointed uh at the end of the game in the post press conference uh which it was the lowest viewed post pressor ever in the history I feel like no one wanted to hear about what happened it was the lowest reacted tweet we've ever put out it was insane but you know definitely that's what happens when you get El's uh but we'll discuss all of that and more we also not only we have the review of the Sporting KC loss but also what's going to happen you know what's her schedule like you know how's it looking for the Lions so we'll discuss all that and more I'm here with John and John how are you my friend how you feel after this defeat um yeah Saturday night I was pretty I was pretty bummed that one was that was hard to watch just yeah really one of those games where you want to just forget about it so I'm not surprised that people are not you know um watching the pro the the the post press conference footage because it's just sort of that situation where you're like I want to put that one behind us and move on um but yeah not a good performance I'm we'll get into it but I was struggling to think of a lot of good things we did I think the first 10 minutes was good and then it all sort of went downhill from there Louise so yeah uh not a great weekend uh hoping for better things coming this weekend as we uh we're going to play Nashville but let's see let's see so uh we'll get into the highlights and talk more about sporting first for sure thank you to the about 35 people live also live on Instagram so thank you so much for your support um you know we're gonna dive in into the footage of what occurred but you know what are what are some John some takeaways out of this game that you get uh you know we kind of pretty much faced uh one of the worst teams in the west um I guess some was I was looking at the well they were talking in some shows like golazo and stuff saying that they're bottom Bottom Feeders bottom dwellers or something like that right so uh for for starters what were your you know some of the things that you felt like you know this sporting Casey did right that totally you know make us look really horrible uh I mean they just I don't think it was that they did a lot of things right I think they just pressed us and they were quite aggressive and quick in their attack and their counter and they're just clinical when we were not I think that's more than anything right like the the opening sort of 10 minutes or so was was looking nice from us uh and you can see it here on the momentum I mean I don't think it was about first like I don't know what 15 20 minutes we were all over them and they just sort of started to go the other way and I think faku said it in the post pressor like they didn't they weren't winning second balls they weren't winning the duels they were just losing out and were making yeah a bottom dweller Casey sporting K seide look a lot better than they are it was not good to see that considering you know our team should should and is better I believe than Sporting Kansas City it was just occasion where we did play no near the level that we can and made a lot of defensive errors gave the ball away a lot um I think more I do think they played like well and and they attacked well but I think more so than that we we gave away the game and the fact that we couldn't finish our chances like there was their second goal Lis specifically stands out for this point where we were like getting a bit more momentum we're getting back into the game trying to attack and then and we had like numerous chances couldn't put the ball in the CH net they had one chance they come up the other end and score that second goal and it was as soon as they started that attack I was like that's they're gonna score because it just felt that way to me it really did feel like we were looking like that team again that could not put the ball in the net ourselves and we're going to be sloppy and give away defensive errors give away the ball and give the other team chances so I was having flashbacks from the Orlando City from earlier in the season man and that's that's after this long a break that was my fear that that this could happen and it looks like it has let's hope it was just one game but you know back to Old Habits I think in a lot of ways here from earlier in the season yeah I mean uh honestly I mean it's it it was a horrible performance uh being uh onean with a oneman down Sporting KC uh is just it was about you know like they already looked uh their last game they had uh turning over the ball pretty easy but in this game I felt um the host took advantage of our turnovers uh and I think that was what made a a huge difference for them um Kyle Smith Cesar um and unfortunately they they didn't have the best game in my opinion when it came to you know kind of you know hone hone onto that ball and hold that ball up and and trying to you know play a little defense I know there was one player I think it was I wrote it down a a frea I think it's called Uh he was cooking them uh especially in the counters and that really is what happened you know now uh obviously you know we had uh the the man advantage and uh I mean a to me this was one of the worst games I've seen them play including in the first of the year uh um and you know you come from it was like I don't want to talk about it but there's a certain game for the beginning of the Season Lise and this was as bad as that I think yeah yeah it it was it was as bad yeah it was as bad because look um you're talking about one I mean it is a really good um you know how do I say it's a team with a lot of history in the MLS um that's done a lot of good to the league uh I I respect them as an organization but uh they are in rebuild mode every year um and when it comes to Orlando city if we're trying to compete and get to the level you know hate to com make the comparison but what the pride is doing on the other side of the pond you know we're looking way far to to compete you know you looking now at Columbus how how they played against lafc and it makes you wonder you know as a and I totally understand the fans reaction and why the fans are so upset it makes you wonder it's like you know like what type of team are we right I mean because the these type of these types of performances are just not what people want to see or or at least you know try to get the you know try to get the draw I just felt like they just um I don't know it's like grabbing a a fire extinguisher and just like you know you have you're trying to extinguish a fire that you know I mean we we went up a map right they went down to 10 yeah what time was that like it was it was plenty of time to then stake a comeback but I just didn't feel like even we were ever GNA make the comeback and that last goal that was you know it just showed like hey even with 10 we can't still score and you know they're still going to come up the other end and counter attack us and score anyway so it was it was not good I think over it's one of those games like I said you want to try and move on and forget about I think there was a few people in particular that performed pretty badly I think Angulo had a yeah a really rough game dagger did not have a good game either Jansen like I think you know I'm not some of these scores here or whatever software score we can debate all day we just use it as a starting point for conversation but no you know I think they're being a little nice to us here because overall we did not play well Breo didn't have a great match the defense was not that usual you know what I mean l we are not saw the Midfield same like Cesar like Wilder was a bit better but we we were not our usual defensive difficult to be under Oscar per as we know s it just looked like it was too easy for them at times you know no I know wholeheartedly agree on on your assessment there and you know it's it's it's sad um that we're you know this game was just started bad and then it ended up in being just horrible um you know uh we we didn't see again you know uh Angulo Angulo was a turn one of the people that was turning over the ball the most in my opinion you know there C you know there came you know Oscar substitutions of Duncan and Martin and sorry Duncan and Lis Muriel and then you know it's just just nothing happened you know uh just um there was a pass that Maguire did to faku Tores um and then that's it you know it's um I feel like the the opponents had us uh by the by the B you know I'm not going to say the word they hi Us by the B uh definitely uh starting in the the 60th minute they already knew they were probably going to win this game because we just did not look like we really wanted it and that's a problem you know I think um no but we'll see the footage uh we're gonna share the footage right now um thank you to everyone that that is relieve this the stuff that I didn't want to problem scoring now we have the lineup of Sporting KC um to me we need to get players like AA I think a frea was on fire saloy as well uh we need to see you know Sporting KC kind of it's you know they they they get these players and they really showed up against Orlando do would you agree that these were probably the best two players they had or who would you say you you like the most um Eric Tommy did all right when he was on the field tomm was I just think like you said that I'm not I'm not super impressed by I mean Davis had a decent game but I don't rate much of this team you know I think I think this a very average MLS team and I think they they are we Face RSL for example right I think where they are where they are for a reason right like I think you know shallow has been in the league a l time he's got some goals in him whatever but I I just that's the thing why I think is more about how badly We performed than the fact that they we made them look a lot better than they actually are and they're just killing us on the Counterattack and you know that's that's something we should be doing that's like our game and they beat us at our own game because they were doing it better than us and they were clinical um but it terms of the the team I think yeah probably uh how do it say fifo whatever his name is he was having a good game it's there just a lot of pace on the counter and we were playing such a high line that that's that's been caught us out a bunch when we we're being sloppy with a high line like that we just give the ball away and then you got Jensen and Bre only people anywhere near the back and you know it just yeah we can't we can't recover well in that scenario I think is also bad right Lou that's yeah for sure I mean were not getting up and then they they' be like another phase of play and they still have the ball and then there's a guy unmarked in the box and that's where I'm like yo he could have been tackled 20 yards away you got to Mark the guy like you had time it was just a very poor performance from a team that can and does defend better than that like we defended way better that than that against Cruz aul and we didn't defend nearly as well against a team that's not nearly as good and they they beat us three nothing yeah um honestly I will say um once your once you have a player on the on the flank that's turning over the ball in a high rate and then you have your double pivot not stopping the transition from the from the rival team that's when it's a domino effect and I think that's what happened I mean you had your Wingers dropping the ball uh more angula and again you know a lot of people are like hitting him really hard you know I don't think we should be I don't think we should just go Wolverine on them you know I think we should just you know but yeah you know you or double pivot that it's pretty much our Holy Grail of what we are as a team right now you take one of them out you take the queen or the king out of the chess game and then everything else just falls apart it it seems that the backline needs to do double duty your left back and right bags are being overpowered by saloy by afifa and it's just goes from there and it just went downhill from there and just well we put Santos on who's another aggressive so you've got dagger who's like a right Wing back you've got Santos who's a right wing back like I said they they're doing that what they think they want they're trying to get back in the game they're getting high up the field but it just leaves us completely wide open Louise and so it's a bit of a problem you know yep for sure uh let's uh continue here uh thank you to everybody that's joining about 60 people live right now forward Martino we talked about the streaky play of Romero Enrique to finish out the regular season 2024 or Lando City a side that might be more optimistic about way things could go but sportting Kansas City here at home going to have a go right off the bat Eric Tommy trying to catch fed off his line really I thought what' you think about that John cheeky one nice effort huh it looks uh that's like what people do at the beginning of a FIFA game online right let me let me try immediately shoot from the halfway line that's crazy far off so now there is a I will I will say I talked to a lot of Peruvian people and and Peruvian people believe that there's a curse in that Stadium yes I know you guys you guys are probably G think what yeah you know Peru lost in cop America in that Stadium against Canada and so they're saying that you know the top page I know they used to be the wizards but they're not like casting magical curses or now now they're like you know Pedro that you know you're you know pretty much just you know you somebody threw salt on you Pedro you know he needs to go and get some Sage on or something like that you know so that's what people are saying over there that when a Peruvian goes and plays in that Children's Mercy park it doesn't do really good but you know that that's proven media for you trying to uh you know make make a make out something out of nothing but there you go y it's their ability to spread you thin that's what I was talking about with romiro Enrique said he doesn't really have a lot of tendenc seas because he stereotypical post up n he likes to venture out of those Comfort zones here's a shot by Enrique straight at the keeper started really I was excited by the yeah the first 15 minutes it was all like that know what happen they just to do the honors drives a dangerous ball in and it's kned toward the back post oh and luring was Enrique it's like a calling sign Louise to me now like when when we start a game like like that like we did against cruises where it's like oh we have so many chances so early and we don't take them then that I like a signals start going off of my head like we're not gonna We're not gonna be able to score at all today like I I I don't know if that's also happening to the players but there's something about you know what I mean does that happen to you too where you're just like it's is this going to be one of those days where we just can't put it in the net because we often we'll start games creating like multiple chances in the first 10 20 minutes it's like early chances and we just we don't score them and it's like then it starts to worry and then it grows and grows and then by the time it's like the 70th minute they score and then we're chasing the game yeah I think um I think honestly it was like the Lim biscuit song you know one of those days you know what I mean so able to turn it home the got a chance at four trophies clean according to the referee by Jake Davis and he plays it for to AA trying to cut it back onth on it and he finds Tommy Tommy parried Away by you got mad right there come back away with it Angulo flicks It Forward look at that like like what happened there man like they're in a purple shirt so it's easy picking for Li and he picks out shallow who can have a go from here and he had Top Spin on it but it was right at GES who had to defensively Parry it away now now Davis on the hat turn 40th minute here at Children's Mercy Park still scoreless no what happened to the pressure you that's another thing I was thinking I was like it's 39 minutes in what happened to the to the Press they were doing the first 15 minutes Tommy Tommy has a go oh he tests the far post and misses just wide it just seemed to disappear man now free Smith has been brought in at that left back spot because of his defensive reliability he's going to get test it again here's a freea puts it in for a who just puts it over the bar better than the alternate though almost like in basketball the version of of a volume shooter right he gets his chances here's a freeer shrugging off one t keep so didn't they hit the bar at one point as well like I think we got pretty lucky with a couple chances could have been more Davis Davis you see they're all afraid and again they're all afraid to get the penalty Jak Davis I mean who that just with a non-step tackle it's like not even a tackle I don't know what that is is yeah I think it was uh it was brolo and in thoron right thereis and they just let him shoot he was wide open the whole problem that I have is like you gotta be there are times that you got to take that Gamble and you got to go for getting the ball out Davis and like right there you know how he falls like Reco like I don't know he just seems he thinks that dagger's gonna stop him and then just dagger turns turns left yeah leaves him wide open Davis you can you canot blame for that like we were picking up they were just you know not it's just not good in defense there not picking up the runners either right like right there why kenas Cesar shoot the ball like just you know what I mean goes to ground like right there like right here how can a freea win that and they just stand there two separate in you know and then that there was Cesar just yep doesn't want to get the foul so it doesn't really correct there and then bolo and yeah everyone is avoiding contact and I think dagger at the end he also does the same thing like he gives him I mean daggers more than anything probably would have been a penalty you know I mean like yeah for sure if you gotta stop that you got Cesar's gota but those are the things that I mean you gotta make you gotta make a choice abity like I see I see in the Argentinian League a lot like they defend like sometimes you'll say really Reckless but they're really not really Reckless they're just hustling you know for the for the ball to do whatever it takes to get it out you know we have thiss it in now the a little hot to handle for hand it but he does just that goes to ground wants a penalty like like he falls down and then like they're all yelling about the penalty like don't don't get so caught up on on doing that though you know what I mean the play's still going get up that he doesn't get ball still alive and then smashed over the dude that was like H H how can you miss that like I was like goes to ground wants a penalty really bad Miss would you miss that on pickup soccer John I mean I probably I'm terrible but I just think OHA is OHA right I think yes sir Wasa right on the penalty spot he just sometimes like he just eyes like light he does that thing where his his eyes light up and he's like oh this is a great opportunity to smack this out of a ball like here you just need a bit of finesse like look at look where the goalkeeper is you just put it in the other side of the net like he's trying to smack it in near sided you know what I mean that's the sort of intelligence finish quality there where you just take that little bit of time to slot it in the empty space instead of trying to smack it and I think sometimes OA like his eyes light up whenever that ball gets in a shooting position that he wants to put his foot through it but as you can see he's leaning back so much and he's not even that he's not that far away from the goal Lise like if he's not leaning back this is a goal but he comes into it so eager to smack it but by the time he gets he's you know just not good technique and it's he could he could pass it into the bottom corner look you don't so that that was just a poor decision and a and a poor shot very bad yep still and I think him missing that mess with him mentally I'm going to say it today I think he messed him mentally throughout the game over the ball he definitely wasn't impressing me this game like it wasn't not doing the things in the 10 position that we want him to do there he didn't do any of that really this match so he kind of went Miss for here's a got at the top of the D he'll rip a shot oh but I don't know how far he was off from that top corner now some good combination play from Orlando down the left hand side and a ball in for Torres didn't quite get for purchase on it cleared Away by Shall and may to the cter he's trying to pick out Tom Tommy has it on the 18 here's shy [Applause] shall I mean that's exactly what I'm talking about Lis like go back and and see that again because yeah look like we are on the attack here I don't know if they show you do they show you any further back than this we are the attack right here we got the ball in there yep and and that's dagger right there and then dagger stays in he stays right there I I think we need to be raining in our fullbacks a little bit l dagger I love the creativity but he has he does get really high on the field and Santos like I said before when we put but him and too look where they are like is that Santos running back there or Angulo yeah that's only this is exactly right here look Jansen and brolo and then you've immediately got a 3v2 there's no wide coverage for Mulo Torres as well like that's not forget they also need to cover if one of the fullbacks go up they need to like make sure that they can help out if needed and it's only the 50th minute it looks like we're throwing everybody forward cuz have yeah right there like right there Carana could have slide and and then you know what I mean yeah it would it would have at least made it uncomfortable for him to hit that this is what I was saying too about the fact that it just as soon as we lost the bull there and after like a good bit of momentum and chances I was like well they're going to come up the R immediately now and score of course it was just written in the stars yeah and then you have and then and then you have saloy and then where's dagger you know what I mean yeah no he was he was in the box like of course he didn't get back he was in the other box and then here here we see him right here we see him right here obviously out of position you know Santos as well just getting back just in s just getting back too but will this is are also where are they where I mean it's no I I I tell what happens when you lose the ball this high up the field with that high a line now do you feel like a Point Blank Range a keeper like that is going to just get the ball miraculously is gonna to me it's almost impossible I mean there's been times that it has happened but in this case there's no G I mean I mean that shot was left footed left footed strike like with a lot of power there was no chance that Gesa was gonna get that I don't really blame Gia I think it just you know we should have put in the tackle way for further like someone has to step up and make it a challenge there and you know we need we need either Jansen or Breo to be like I'm going to go forward and make close down the man because we didn't do that and then we let him run way up there and everyone gets back like oh yeah we're here now but they weren't marking the players they weren't looking for the runners coming in nobody really closed down the second runner like it's it was too easy like there was plenty of opportunities there to make a challenge do something and the on the city that we know under Oscar wouldn't this is not what we expect so I agree I think it was just a really bad day at the office let's just hope that it was chalk it up to that because you're be really nice right now I'm just saying like I don't I I was very frustrated I I called it pathetic performance on Twitter because it was oh that's what it was here I didn't see that it was pretty pathetic Louise let's be honest we it was not something that they want to look back and remember for sure um and so I think they need to hopefully I'm hoping serious words were had I'm not sometimes I question Oscar's sternness right his his discipline his level of like how to really tell them what for and I think in this scenario they really need to this needs to be a wakeup call of like if you perform like this every week it's over there's no way yeah and and I think this this upcoming game which we'll discuss in just a moment I mean it is it is if it's this is not I mean we keep saying this every home game but it is a must win on this level because already the fans are pissed off and uh it's just the energy is going to be weird you're going to have the you know the leak scup outers back you know uh it's just they they got to prove you know that this two weeks that they've gone they just not gone to Fun Spot or to or to Universal Studios you know they've actually you know trying to get ready for the the the the other half of the season so you gets it to Torres Torres cuts it back and this one is tucked in perfectly by Enrique but the offs flag comes up at the end of the play I mean what what is Taurus doing here I was I was like this guy going to make errors but they've got growth and they've got potential right Muriel on the other hand yeah there's no excuses for intelligent Mak silly eras like that that he does in games because you should know better because you're 34 whatever you are 32 so I think it's different things I think sometimes we forget Louis like our star players a lot of them are very young like dagger is very young uh I mean even Breo is only like 23 I think 24 maybe so it's okay they're gonna have games where they're just completely off but this one this one from Torres I was like what why are you even looking at the side ref like the you know it's offside because you asked for the ball while you were offside like anyway I would have I would have just celebrated try there the kind of thing I would do cuz I'm stupid and you know don't understand the rules of soccer yeah the second by Enrique if he plays that ball a little bit more direct meaning flatter in line straight ahead and not put English on it to the here's basson after a good tackle this is painful right here PLO PLO punched Away by G just like a knife through butter at times man you know like the like the transl what do you call it defense is like a flam he's gonna be getting a yellow card oh man he really call his mama something and that's his second and this match all of a sudden I don't understand what they did here do you like did the guy take away the yellow second yellow for the red and give him a straight red when he was already on a yellow is that what happened after the V CA v l it's probably cut they probably cut it out the highlights because it was pointless but I didn't understand what was happening there like you're going to go check it look like it was a foul from behind but it he called the red card and then like it was a it's a yellow card right anyway regardless so then it's a red and he goes off so what are you going to look at like is it not a yellow card or like maybe he maybe they told him over the the headset but then he like didn't you see afterwards the ref did like I don't know what he did he like he like almost like rescinded the yellow card and gave him a red card but he had already given him a red card and they can yeah I mean and they can I think he took it away the yellow instead of giving you a straight red y they gave him a straight red after he already had a yellow so that's like okay well because you have to measure not only level of the foul yeah in not only you have to miss your intent but you also have to it was from behind and it was a I mean violent tackle I mean they were able to zoom you couldn't just do that after the fact though you know what I mean like I don't like after the fact they just go we retro like we looked at the tackle and in fact we won uh you know a full red you know two Gam suspension whatever it just all felt a little bit stupid and kind of just more dumb V usage for me personally now after the fact of this they were down 10 men now obviously you know expecting a comeback Orlando has done it already they already came back they've actually won a game and or tied it you know to the death and and obviously but you know let's say but I I needed to see more edge of this team I needed to see more of like a you know like we are you know more I guess this gonna sound so cliche more leadership I felt like there was not a voice unless it was Oscar from the side and his staff there wasn't a voice inside that will say hey let's regain together and sh like this is a chance for us to you know it continue you know the turnovers continue the and that's why the third goal came you know the the the bat defending the turnover in the you know turnover the ball all of that so I just feel like you know I expected more of like you know you have somebody like Luis Morel right there that has played you know in Europe and National Team all that going to World Cups bro like step up man I mean galesa can do so much he's a goalie you I mean if we're gonna like you said you know if we're gonna keep playing like that I mean it's not going to look very very good now um then this happened right here after this it's over at left back we could buy him out for less money in a few years or whatever but is it gon to be a shakiri situation right like that's that's a big question for me um so I think before we kind of well I mean honestly see what happens maybe look maybe Muriel could finally figure it out but I'm not hopeful based on everything we've seen so far it's not improving it's just the man Louise try to rent about bed and you know Orlando I feel like what people yeah I I you know some of the reactions are they lost one game you know it's like kind of like listening to Haw Heights or like under oath like they go all emo and they go like destruction and Chaos I just want to like turn my like grab a bat and just kill my TB you know and I totally understand the frustration but also we have to be levelheaded as fans and not really just throw everything down the down the drain um Orlando they're going to do what's best for their organization um and I feel like this whole thing about you know getting rid of the manager getting rid of all these players like fire everybody attitude ain't G to work I it's not real yes muel is not performing well I agree with that 110% I just think that the club is gonna do what's best for the club I think I feel the wols are going to do what's best for the the club and uh and and see what happens you know I mean again you know it's it's it's like that you know uh now you have to understand also where you at your Market you're Orlando you're not La I think um Seattle you're not Columbus obviously we'll see what happens at the end of the but uh we don't know like I said with the wills right they backed oscar but y there's there's always is going to be questions about what what were the objectives for this year and at the beginning of the year we were talking about being a team that's you know so they've invested in Oscar thinking that we're going to be better than we were last year it's not working out that way you know maybe like one game to like we can turn it around and we'll talk about what's coming up like we can look a lot it can can be like we are a hot and cold team at times right we we could continue cold or could go hot again also also the responsibilities have to be also to the players like it can all it always exactly yeah it could it canot always be the front office it can notot always be the wels it canot always be Oscar The Bu falls on them more than anybody but the players are part of it of course like the players also have to you know own up to it because I mean don't get me wrong like we have three great performances by dagger Dan and then this this performance was not great and then what happened to Ivonne but how consistent if you take it the whole season how consistent has Ivan be and now as a fan do you think the venicius Jr is gonna sign for Orlando that's unreal that's not gonna happen do you think Jack Gish will sign for Orlando no that's unreal I I'll be selling you smoke what you got is Ivan Angulo overall the games that he has had have been positive in this game I feel like yeah pooped the bed you know he turned over every single ball he had for sure you know I just think at the end of the year it's going to be a question of you know we haven't seen with the wills what what they want to do right like I said the Oscar will have objectives they'll have ideas it's going to be a question of do they want to roll the dice again with him and stick and get more players or are they going to want to change it up are they going want to change up the DPS are they going to not are they going to who knows right like we've seen even in midseason some of these other teams like can do a lot of changing around of your squad so with a full off season and everything else we're gonna see what the reaction is I think um you know obviously there's an emotional reaction from the game but I don't think that should bleed over into the whole season analysis yet because the season's not over and everything we got to be rational about all these things you got to look at it um who knows right we might we might go on for the rest of the season and look like we were right before the break and go into MLS Playoffs looking hot and you know get to a good end of season get to a you know win the Conference Final maybe and then you're like all right and then we'll lose the final let go again right like who knows like it can happen I just think after this game we need to see a definite reaction for the next one we cannot continue well for sure for sure I agree with my question is know there there is people and I do want to say this that all right let's say that happens John and we reach the conference Easter Conference Finals and then or no let's say we go to into the MLS finals for the MLS Cup I don't know how but we go there and then what we lose and then we're just going to throw away like them getting them there you know what I mean like we also have to Value the team overall and what now because we've lost the final we're going to now reflect back on the first seven games that we play like crap in the beginning of the season and blame that to us no winning the MLS Cup so so it's just becomes a repetitive cycle of pointing to blame without knowing what they're talking about it feels like some sometimes at least for me you know because you got to know your Market you got to know your town you got to know what type of brand you are uh what's your reach like if you look at the Instagram for the for the club and go and look the Instagram for like I don't know RSL and look how many likes a post has like that tell like that that is tangible proof right there like you have to know your like The Rock Says Know Your Role you know like you know and so I I feel like sometimes like we are just you know yes this is a terrible game things Mariel's playing like like crap and he needs to get it together and but I feel like we can take like you said you know some of these this game and then move on to the next ones and see what happens but you know I I feel like have unrealistic unrealistic expect ations for the brand I think it's a mix of a mix of all of that right emotional reactions expectations etc etc and I think uh it's it's just a case that we're gonna see the end of the year like I'm not gonna like I said before I think we should just say this was a one game hopefully we're not going to perform like that going forward we're going to see a reaction G be back to more of the team that we look like before the you know break Etc I still think we can we can turn it like it's not old Doom and Gloom uh but it it's now or never right like we said that a bunch it's got to be an instant reaction for the next match and then going forward so um do you want to look at the sort of schedule going forward sure sure uh do you have the do do you want to share your screen or you want me got I'll show you um so games coming up for us obviously this weekend uh we take on Nashville at home two back-to-back home games yes and then we're going to play New England at home who just had a I think what was it they beat somebody this week I think it was Montreal I want to say or like with a big score line so even though they're down there at the bottom of the table they might be getting their stuff together uh and then we got to go uh play Charlotte at home yeah as well who are you know made a lot of su transfer moves that's not going to be that easy then we're going to go way to Columbus um and then we're going to go away to Dallas you know obviously a way to Columbus yeah I mean that's never that's never a good trip right now I think it's gonna be Columbus is in a different level right now tough game for us regardless of what what form more in doesn't matter that's going to be a rough game uh away to Dallas who I haven't checked exactly on again but who on another we play with we playing with two different teams this year then we're back home against Philly Philly so another top up there the uh and then we're away at ciny so yeah not easy as well and then finally we're gonna end the season At Home Atlanta in a game that might end up being really significant to whether we make the playoffs or not this year hopefully not but it could all come down to that whole match against you know we will make the play our Rivals before that so not an easy road ahead Louise H uh the the home games against well for one the Sporting KC game that we just lost was you know if everyone was looking at this that should have been three points really yeah as a road team that we are and can be we could have gone there and won that game at home to National now at home to New England at home to Charlotte we we need nine points these are home games against teams that we can beat not not like that difficult either like teams around us or below us in the table if we don't get nine points from these three games coming up Louise I think I'm not hopeful for the rest of the season honestly I think we really need to secure some points here because away at Columbus you know at home to Philly away way to ciny there's are going to be tough games to get a lot of points out of maybe one if we're lucky maybe right now so away at Dallas is maybe a win if we're lucky maybe a draw home to Atlantic you know could be who knows what they're going to look like by the end of the season probably not much better so that that could be okay but it'll come down to that potentially it's it's just not looking comfortable we need to get something out of these these first next three games um to me realistically speaking speaking uh the games that we looking at at the at what's happening now with with those teams to throw away are Columbus and ciny I will you know those could be losses those could be major losses you know Columbus is right now winning a lot of gold a lot of silver aware for their club uh it's looking great uh they're with a lot of they just beat lafc which is another you know with with Jude right there not contributing pulling a Lis Morel on on lafc um but um and then Cincinnati's uh you know role and patience also of their fandom because they didn't start uh very good and they're now one of the top teams in the league in my opinion uh um so but the rest of the games I feel that they're attainable uh we have fin unfinished business with Charlotte um Nashville right now um I mean obviously they're a good team they're a good organization but they're like way down the bottom and it is important for us to capitalize on on those you know they're coming out of this um really horrible loss against Sporting KC they need to give the fans what they paid for so this is the chance so Nash the Nashville game needs to be a W uh New England uh they're doing a little better uh but they're still also right there not looking very good they have again you know we faced them again uh before and they have those the win backs that they have are phenomenal so um Dallas we need to just try to see if we go for the for the draw but this is a Dallas is an organization that Oscar knows in and out so you know you know but then all the home games moving forward are this is going to be to me like more than focusing on Columbus Cincy and Dallas it's going to be Orlando so Orlando City Soccer Club players front office versus the wall on the fans I feel like this is a Do or Die uh for them to either have a loving end of the season and a loving relationship or they're going to pit against each other because you know it's an opportunity for them to truly like go into a role at home they have five games at home I think they all need to they need a capitalize on that um that to me will say if we have two l and then the rest of them wins or draws I think will make the playoffs easy I mean I now what happens during the playoffs that's another story that's when the season starts again you know you know we were talking earlier there's that comment from streaming Jesus any encouraging words to ease the pain correct this is my encouraging words um I feel like Oscar is very good manager for like periods of of like time like cup managers like we get hot and we get cold right we beginning of season really cold then we had that really hot streak and then we're who knows what's going to happen right now but if we are going to be a little bit cold for a few games maybe we can grind out some results not performing super well at home against some teams that aren't great and build up a bit right because last year our problem was we went into the playoffs we're on such a high coming up to the playoffs and so many wins the end of the season and we just kind of tanks right before we didn't take that good form into the playoffs so maybe the silver lighning is if we're not performing great right now we can get through some home games get some results maybe and build up for him to maybe getting an away result at the likes of Columbus or Philly or or Cincy or whatever and then going into the playoffs with some real momentum looking like a team that's on fire like we were right before the break if that's what we can do then I'll take look and like it got a get a few games to get whatever that was out of our system but that's my only little potential Silver Lining that sometimes we're only hot when we're hot and and and maybe we got to just get hot again and and then if if we're ending the season in that sort of form then that's going to be better for the playoffs than it was last year yeah I don't know man I just I'm trying to find some some positivity going forward because it was it was rough last week I mean I mean you can take that luxury if you win the next three games right like like if if you win the next three games or get let's say two wins in a draw then yeah a loss against Columbus it it ain't gonna really I mean Columbus are a superior team I mean you gota get and uh I want to look good going into the playoffs you know as long as we secure the playoffs we got we gotta look like you know we need to look like that team that we just before the break like that won eight in a row also I mean I understand people say you know yeah you know we should not be you know it's it's also strategy like kind of like what John is saying you know so it doesn't I mean as long as you make the playoffs I mean it it a new tournament that starts there you know uh whatever happened before like imagine we go into the playoffs and R scoring goals and Duncan's scoring goals and you know faku is scoring goals again NOA like ifal you know Taps alra Instinct and then he just goes right yeah what I'm saying is we got to go in with our best players playing well scoring goals performing for each other defending well you know Pedro's got to be on fire doing his thing all of that needs to happen and we got this amount of time to do it in so let let's see no let's see how we end the season now September 6 there's the international Break um so for South America so um when is the Nashville game can you can you scroll up John real quick the Nashville game is 31st so Saturday so he's going to play that one and then um more than likely Peru Ecuador I'm trying to look for Ecuador versus Peru you're looking at um September 10th so yeah so yeah no he'll be back for the New England game y so yeah cuz the flight is pretty short and then he goes from Lima to Orlando yeah so I mean he he'll be in he'll they'll be in all in all those games so it's not like we're going to be missing players uh it's not like we're going to be missing Pedro so yeah yeah uh a few more comments Colin says just one game the whole first half of the season was garbage agree you're not wrong with that I'd love to understand more about Rico and mu's strategy or issues but they don't speak to us I mean no no GMS would right like correct you John when have you seen a team that uh their front office Marco Roy I don't think it's got that g to be our that's not gonna be the Cy model is what we should go for right know me too I agree no but way and be like the Philly model and be like we should be Sports you know um the if they do win the the championship they'll be the first major championship in for our Orlando team in the whole entire city we're not known for our championships in Orlando and
