Browns will get training camp underway in a few days out at the Green Brier today rookies quarterbacks and some of the banged up injured players reported to Berea in advance of that also over the weekend Nick chub posting a little bit of a video getting ready uh for training camp this different now cuz I feel like I'm behind you know usually I'm I'm healthy and I'm working to get faster and stronger now I'm just trying to catch up to get to you know the person I once was it's welcome in Scott Patrick Browns beat reporter for the Alyria Chronicle Telegram as well as brown zone.com and Scott um we'll get to the article that you wrote uh just things to issues that the Browns have to work through in training camp in just a minute um you know Nick chub we've seen Squat and we've seen him doing lateral work um it's kind of interesting he he we'll see what the Browns do with him that's going to be really interesting yeah I mean I expect him to start camp on the pup list right there's no reason to rush him um he's coming off severe damage to the knee multiple surgeries he's had that knee operated on before so there's no need to rush him but it's got to be encouraging for fans you know when we talked to Nick in June which which is the first time we talked to him since the injury September 18th you know he wouldn't commit to a date when he'd practice he wouldn't commit to a goal for you know a return to games but then you see the lateral movement the squatting like you mentioned the video and and it's all really encouraging and I think they're really or they're positive steps toward him trying to get back to who he was right now that remains a huge question mark it's different to squat and to run than it is to play football uh but it feels like he's on the right track and it's just a matter of time but you know I wouldn't expect him to practice early in Camp and I would still think you know to me October feels like a realistic time for when he might be able to play again yeah and again he's been through this he knows he knows that you know there are certain things that will create um cause for concern so I that's why I think he's not he don't want to put a date on it because he doesn't want to feel like it's a setback if he can't be there
