Movie Review #1065: Oddity

hello today I will be talking about movie Rie number 165 this is aity a is a 2024 movie that is directed by Damian mcari this is from IFC films sh Productions Keo pictures and no ra Productions and I saw this movie on July 24d 2024 AMC R Chester 18 and R Chester Ohio this was a pretty good movie and I will say that there were moments in the film that is definitely a little intense and scary as many as some people have said that this was probably one of the scariest movies of 2024 and they weren't kidding this was definitely an intense scary film and even though there weren't really a lot of jump scenes you can if we feel that this is a horror movie so this is a movie that about dorsy dorsy is blind and she wants to go after those responsible for the brutal moral of her TRN sister by using haunted items as her tools for Revenge so AR is about dorsy who is blind but also aial shopkeeper who is grieving the death of a Trin of a twin sister that happened the year before so I will say that the movie starts out with the twin sister and then the fast forwards onee ra to Dy a wooden man mannequin from her cabinet a Curiosities becomes crucial to her quest to uncover the truth about her sister's murder and what will happen or how she find or the truth that she discovers is definitely shocking now I will say this I won't ref what happened or who did it but it may not be who you might expect and for those of you wondering if the trailer gave anything away it doesn't so an is about dorsy dorsy is portrayed by Carolin Bracken actually heroin Bren also does Danny in the film so Danny and Dy are twin sisters Danny who you saw at the beginning of the movie is a woman that just moved into a house and so things are going good into a strange man comes to the house one night asking Danny to let asking Danny to let him in and Danny is very hesitant to let this guy in and then after she debates about it the film fast forwards one year later where we where the movie footes on dorsy she's at her shop and she is a curious sh people and we also see in the film how dorsy wants to go after the people responsible for her sister's mural now she isn't quite sure who did it but she knows who didn't do it so dorsy decides to go back to the house one year later but is occupied by dany's foral fiance or foral husband I meant to say trash his new and his new girlfriend and let's just say that um let's just say the FI take the turn from the wars when Dy soon discovers the truth and this could read bad things that happen with the people that are living at the house especially the main character on the main person in the house who also used to be the husband of Danny Ted Timmons portrayed by griin re in the film GW i l ym grman re portrays Ted Timmons he is a doctor as ziat TR Institute or Mentor Institute who used to be the husband of Danny before she died and so Ted is living there with his new girlfriend n n Y A N A Yana portrayed by heroine mton in the film and um when Ted has to go out to work Yana is left with dorsy as dorsy interruptedly arrives at the house one day and she won't leave and dorsy starts telling Yana about some details about what happened one year earlier and Y eventually fre out when Dy brings a wooden mannequin that resembles a human being or S of like a human being and that completely let should say it it completely gets Jana to be very nervous about around dorsy because she wonders if dorsy will do something to her well I don't want to reveal too much boy rules but it's definitely a FL a horror movie and you won't believe how it goes and I will say this I won't R who did it but it may not be the person that you might expect and also I will say that when Dy does find out who did it she will stop nothing to get her revenge she may be blind but she is determined to offend your sister's death oh yeah this was a pretty good movie and I right how Dy decides to use her tools to go after the people responsible and she is deely Trel so there's my movie review of audity please from this movie review all right goodbye
