so many people wanted the Olivia Rodrigo cookie and we're doing it plus this lemon cake Lucia is way more talented at this so she's going to do the guts cookie and I'm going to do the lemon cake for some reason this clay was extra difficult to work with I think it may have been older and tough but it was so difficult to squish it after what felt like an eternity trying to get this thing soft and the right color I realized that I was not even close Lucia suggested a little bit of orange and yes she's always right it finally felt like we were getting somewhere I had fin finally finished the cakes I had to poke those little holes on the side so that it looked light and Airy then I added the icing added the second layer of course we had to take a dance break I put the icing on top and then I had to make those little lines to make it look like the actual cake meanwhile Luc was putting the star on her cookie she was pretty pleased with her work then I decided to tackle the little lemon slice while Lucia marbled the jelly for her cookie just a few final details and my little lemon slice was finished I think that the lemon cake turned out so cute pretty close to the real thing tomorrow we'll finish them both up
