the Kansas City Royals have just acquired Michael lenzen a starting pitcher from the Texas Rangers today we're going to be talking about what he brings to the team the overall deal was the Royals acquiring Michael Lorenzen in exchange for left-handed pitcher Walter Pennington in lorenzen's last seven games he's been a bit shaky posting a 5.76 ra in six starts while striking out 25 and 29 and 2/3 Innings pitched but overall Loren and has had a very decent year in 18 starts recording a 3.81 erra and 101.2 Innings pitched King 75 Michael lenzen usually pitches to contact as you can see he had 75 strikeouts and 100 point one and 2/3 Innings pitched so I think the Royals great defense is going to be able to back that up and overall where do I think he's going to slide into the rotation I think Lorenzen will slide right behind Brady singer as the fourth pitcher in the rotation making Michael Wala the fifth and Alec Marsh will potentially move to the bullpen and that's kind of convenient because the Royals could use any Bullpen help they could get overall if I think Lorenzen continues to be consistent and post quality outings he could be a really good pickup for the Royals thanks for watching and that's going to do it for this breakdown
