welcome back guys for more timberborn what are we going to do in this episode I'll tell you what we're doing in this episode we are building a massive water wheel power station and when I say massive I mean massive I'm talking quarter of the map massive in fact it's so big we've got to rip down the Giga Dam yeah I'm not kidding um a part of the Giga Dam has got to go cuz I don't have enough room I have been working on this design virtually since uh since episode one and I've nailed it and I love it the problem is it's a bit too big to fit in here uh let's rip out this um this stuff that's here at the moment you know I want to get rid of these trees let's get rid of these damn trees ban of my life dead trees uh yeah all of all of those rip them out please while they're doing that we're going to we're going to like map some stuff out this is going to be huge I'm going to love every second of doing this so we are going to have a a series of trenches going down here uh this one is going to be let's see 1 2 3 4 5 6 like that then we have an eight 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 so there's going to be one there good Lord I'm running out I'm running out of space already uh let's see so um then we've got another six 1 2 3 4 5 6 then we've got another eight 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 so that so you're going to confuse the hell out of yourself Sky aren't you yeah I am so I need to get rid of get rid of that one and um maybe maybe get rid of these two for now I'll probably I'll probably have to put some of this stuff back in uh do I want to be able to get down to there at the moment um probably not but you know what this path goes close enough so we'll we'll just hook that up okay fine so we've got what what 68 68 then we've got oh good lord I can't believe how big this freaking thing is uh and then um so one 2 3 4 five six another six right this is where we run into the Giga Dam uh 1 2 3 4 5 6 78 so the next trench is going to be going down there uh and then yeah then we're into the Giga Dam 1 2 3 four five six that is where that that's how big this thing is right from the outside wall to there now this means that I'm going to have to change the Giga Dam and I think yeah I think that this yeah it lines up with this so what we're going to have to do you know what don't talk about it Sky do it I I keep saying that to myself we're going to have to build a wall out here the Giga Dam I don't know what's going to happen to it like long term but it's good it's changing for for 100% certain so we're going to have a wall that comes up here I tell you I'll just do I'll just do should I just do the bottom layer for now now where's it got to come to um let's see I'm thinking I'm going to steal maybe a couple of layers from here just trim those back so um I guess kind of to about there so this has got to come out to here to here man that's um that's big that's what she said yeah all right calm down um yeah we we we're coming back to like there wow okay so I I think what we will do is we will instigate the old design from this side where it came in rather than going out so uh five 4 and then one two 3 four five oh that works out works out kind of nicely all right cool so this part is now going to mirror exactly that and then it's just going to be straight along there oh good lord uh and I've got to figure out what I'm going to do about this am I just going to have a like a straight line do do I have them at all all kinds of questions that I've got to figure out okay I I've decided what I'm going to do about this we're just going to have it going flat across here and I'm going to get rid of this all together it's just going to be a solid wall going across here which I think in the in the scheme of things is going to look better um this drops down two here so I'm going to put um that in there that's going to be the slcap this obviously is all going to be terrain so I just need to take out the stuff in front which is going to be like all of this and that's going to extend like all up here God I wish I'd thought of this before I changed the dam uh and ripped all of the platforms out this would have been so easy I mean I could put them back in I it's not the end of the universe but like it would have been so much easier um don't winge Sky it's not becoming okay fine I I'll I'll I'll take it I'll take it like a slightly below average man right let's go ac across here um and fill all of this in okay once we've got this in we can turn our attention to the good stuff right right the power system huh this is yeah this is going to be reasonably complicated uh you know what let's get let's get this ripped out yeah start with a clean slate Skye you you know you'll feel better if you do right we'll rip uh all of this power stuff out for a start out you go um yeah all all of this has got to go goodbye um oh let's do it from there there we go I'm going to keep this Dam in for now we'll work around that but everything else can sling its filthy stuff out in the street first of all let's get this done we want Dynamite uh we're going to take this back two rows so I get rid of that and doubles on the top boom done okay then we come around here this actually needs to come down one level yeah that needs to come down one level oh man this is this this design is in my head but it's when you're trying to lay it in like what like as a crosssection it's kind of hard to remember like exactly how it's supposed to go uh let's do it let's do it for now from there and then I can if I if I want to come back further this way I can I can extend it so that's going to go down one and then this is going to go down two for a distance of five right this is a channel that's going to be coming down here um it's not going to join up with this so probably there is fine for now right then we have this here now this here oh I've got to try and remember how high this is um this I think this goes yeah this goes up two so let's do that goes up two and then this side it goes just up one then it's flat and then it goes down yeah then it goes down by one and it's too wide then we're flat again then we go up again by one flip it around do it like that and then we go up by two one and two awesome Source all right cool they've got that dynamite in should we just blow it yeah blow it boom boom boom and a bit boom boom down there all right cool now this whole thing has to go um because it's going to be this all the way up here right to the end um well not quite to the end cuz we got that mine in the way so it won't be quite to the end but it's going to go a long way should we just leave it at that it's going to go a long way okay cool so uh how the hell are you going to get up there Sky well we're going to put in a path aren't we all right cool now they can get to that they've built that uh we need to get some dynamite in there we need to get some extract in there here come the haulers bringing the stuff out no those are the builders who are just going to get straight on with it I'm not unhappy about that um I should probably prioritize this stuff up here go on we will we'll set it to we'll just set it to high priority so not super high priority but high priority to get all of that done and all of if my my keyboard's being a bit weird today I don't know why I don't know what's got into it I think I think it's been talking to picture picked up it's picked up the picture mind VI yeah it's definitely and it's not wow this is a wireless keyboard and you can see it's doing it was doing weird things then and I don't know why it's got fresh batteries in so it's not now it's it's it just dies what is going on you know what let me see if I can sort it out okay well good news is keyboard seems to be behaving itself now it just suddenly started working hooray the wonders of modern technology okay we have um the outside Channel then the next Channel now what we need here is a repeat of this but in Reverse cuz cuz I had to confuse myself so that's going to be down two going out to yeah have I put in I've put in triples there those should be doubles oh you Lon let's try that again oh I'm glad I spotted that cuz that would have confused the absolute hell out of me uh what was I doing yeah Doubles Doubles going there there we go fortunately we got the storage right there so that's a handy um yeah yeah yeah so doubles go out like that but um but then it's already down one which is super confusing for a bear of very very little brain and so we' come out what uh we come out there and then we want to go down one anyway uh no cuz that's already down one isn't it yeah there we go that's done hooray so we come out for so so we're now up to here this row good Lord so we've got that and then that and then that that's three separate channels and then this is the center channel this is the big one oh yeah uh that needs to be at this level um it doesn't matter which direction they're in Sky honest oh why have you done that I think I think the game just LED slightly there right get rid of that then we've got a six wide channel here which needs to be too deep from this level so grab your double Dynamite so that's one that's 2 3 4 5 6 that goes up there like that awesome source and then we want single Dynamite going down like that awesome then we've got uh the next wall which is the opposite of that so that's the center channel okay there's going to be uh like like we had the water wheels going down here that's going to be going down there okay cool then then then then then then God this is so confusing uh then I've got have this on this side so I've now got to reverse this which is confusing to say the least flip that around we have that and then flip it around and then it goes up two like that and then we need to get this in this this bit of dynamite here on this side and as you can see I don't have room because of the dam so I now have to figure out how I get this down built and get the dynamiting done and then we've got to demolish this which means dynamiting this down God I wish I'd built it with levies yeah so um there's a few things to do now um we can have a bit of boom boom do we have a bit of boom boom have a bit of a boom boom blow all of that that's very nice and then um should we do this from both sides yeah do bo bo bo boom and it's all gone apart from this which I forgot which is not the end of the universe get rid of those SL slap a single on there make that a very high priority we'll get that one done right I'm going to lay up so we've only got two layers to do and we're down to here oh but I've got to remember not to Dynamite that oh good lord let me lay up this dynamite and um I've got to figure out how we're going to do this well as as you can see I've thrown all the bridges back in hooray there was much rejoicing there really wasn't that was that was a pain um but yeah it's going to make it like it's just the easiest thing to do we've actually got like all the materials underneath the city to build all of this stuff and we get all the materials back when we demolish it so like what the hell just just get it done so they can now uh build all of this they can lay in all of the dynamite and once they've done that then we can begin the process of dynamiting down this wall I can just delete that thank God uh and then I can finish off my design now my original design fitted into this area but I Then I then was refining the design a little bit I was trying to squeeze a bit more power out of it and I found like an extra what 880,000 power but I needed like an extra nine tiles and I was like a do I do it do I not do it and I was like I think the guys are going to want the extra 80,000 power so yeah this is going to produce quite a lot of power yeah are you are you are you kind of excited to see like how this is going to work and what it's going to be and stuff cuz I am and I've already seen it at least on paper anyway but we'll see um the Beavers are getting up this is actually quite good because the the city beavers can be doing this and then the the Badlands beavers can be getting on with this so it all kind of works uh let's let them get there's just lot so much to do let's just just let them get on with it and and and when I've made some real progress we'll come back and see and oh you know what I actually got around to setting up a hot key for for my Dynamite look look I got a hotkey there's going to be some people who are so Bloom and pleased about that they've been telling me for God's sakes go set up a hotkey right H that one and that and that does all of that anyway okay I think I got it all let's find out shall we go and now how's that worked out badly is the No what the hell yeah that's correct that's correct that's correct this isn't correct how the hell did I get that wrong okay whatever never mind it's it's fine uh all I need is some stairs going up there and some stairs going up there and and this has got to come down too hasn't it yeah oh man you like how I do ask myself the same question that you're asking yourself like how like you you've got it laid in you can see exactly what it needs to be how well like that apparently how are we getting on over here they've done uh they've done a fair amount of the the bridge stuff they've got to put the stairs in look look at this bot that's run out of fuel who's bringing some stuff up here for God knows what reason building I guess H there's another one well you should put some butt fuel up there you know what it wouldn't make any difference if I had biofuel up here because this guy will not go and get biofuel until he's finished his task and they can accept a task like a millisecond before they need to get biofuel and they'll just they'll just take the task and then they'll go like this all the way there and all the way back well if you've got biofuel like well what have I got I've got extract over there I suppose I could put some biofuel somewhere I I maintain my position that Bots suck for long distances short distances not a problem they're brilliant short distances long distances they suck they suck the big one what am I doing I'm looking for barrels aren't I yeah so flip that around we'll put in one there and like one over here maybe yeah go on put one over here so what do I want I want um biofuel which is that one isn't it that's how that's how infrequently I use them right there and obtain biofuel is that the right one yes it is okay cool man still like there's still a hell of a lot to do they haven't even they haven't even built the bridges yet we got a drought coming in which is um to be honest neither here nor there they've uh they've got access this but they haven't built them yet oh they can't get all the stuff they need logs and planks that is going to be a bit of an issue okay so let's see have I said that they can't have planks maybe I might have uh let's see planks no they can have planks so why why are we not sending them some planks boys oh some planks some planks are coming through very very slowly but they are coming through yeah you know what I'm actually going to try and use the space so we'll throw in a platform and then we'll throw in the large pile on top there we go cool so that's going to be obtain planks and that needs to be a high priority but don't use that use the priority tool CU it'll do everything underneath good this uh most of this is laid in we're just waiting on planks see they've done this stuff uh let's let's blow that and get that out of the way goodbye goodbye and goodbye hooray I think we're very close to being able to extend all of these which is really good news let's get rid of this stuff and then and then we we'll be pretty much good to go right well in that case it's just a case of waiting they've got this dynamite laid in which is nice there's more Dynamite to lay in they're they're building the wall oh yeah the wall is coming along now the thing is we oh we have dirt story underneath here okay now you could argue that I should put some like large piles up here to make the process maybe a bit quicker although I don't think they're going to be that much closer than this but I'll do it anyway let's do it uh what do I want I want large pile flip it around we'll have this obtain dirt and one I can have one I think right on the end here yep and and obtain dirt please okay cool I'm looking at this and I think I'm going to have um perhaps a little rework on this yeah I I might have a little bit of rework on this we'll see I I might do that offline and then I'll kind of show you afterwards or all right everything is ticking along let's let them make some progress and then we'll come back oh they're laying that Dynam me there that's a really nice shut up Sky well we're on we're currently on cycle 59 day 10 uh we've only moved on I don't know like like very little time like a couple of days and they've done this war look they've just done it I'm very very very impressed that was lightning fast but then I suppose they've got they've got the like a ton of dirt down here and it is only one tile wide but yeah that's that's flown in so uh how's the Dynamite have they have they done all the dynamite oh they they're just doing the last bit down here which is brilliant oh they they've got this whole section to do okay fair enough but like all of that is built wow so once they've done that and these last bits of dynamite um we blow it and and then I start dynamiting down this I can actually start laying that dynamite in can't I yeah yes guy there's no reason why not well let's do it then so we want yeah we just want triples like all along the outside wall wow this I've got to say this is happening a lot faster than i' I thought this was going to be a massive pain but actually it's um it's kind of fine um yeah so that goes to there and then that yeah that goes back there yeah yeah fine do I want the path along the wall um yeah I do don't I well put it in then sky right down there and there we go cool awesome I'm kind of looking forward to ripping this out uh now did I oh no I didn't we've still got to do this bit haven't we which means blowing the dynamite well you could just blow the dynamite but oh they've actually done it all you are you ready for some um for some mediumsized boom boom go oh use your hot case guy I I'm going to be terrible at remembering to use that now here we go try and keep up with the boom boom and there it is all the way to the end allay good now yeah yeah yeah I I just for a for a second my heart stopped and I was like oh have you screwed this up I was like no no I haven't thank goodness so let's put in the slle gate oh I've taken it down oh yeah cuz I've taken it down to the to the right level I actually need to Dynamite a little bit behind it so the water can get down don't I yes you do well well spotted all right so slle gate is going to go in there uh and that's going to be yeah just standard and then we well actually for now I just want it closed don't I yeah we'll just have it closed for now and then we just throw some terrain on top oh can't throw terrain on top it's got to be levies yeah oh that's kind of untidy but but well there there is no alternative so shut up and deal with it uh oh my God they've got all this they do it so fast and all of this stuff but it's because I've got Dynamite under there I've Got dirt under there I've got everything that they need boom boom boom boom boom Oh no you flooded the entire place with the bad water yeah don't care that much um yeah but this Dam's going to empty out yeah I know I should probably make that a priority shouldn't I I must admit I I I hadn't thought of this but it's fine it's only a few logs they'll fill that up pretty quickly uh and and we don't need the the water right now so it's not an issue oh they've done this little bit of rubbish over here which is nice let's let's get rid of that and that cool excellent right I'm going to lay this stuff in up to the up to this Edge point and then we're going to have to think about how we deal with stuff beyond that yeah that's going to be fun well I've just spotted a mistake I was just extending these and I realized that this is already at the right level so those need to get ripped out excellent okay good uh I've extended some of the paths and stuff oh they've got all this dynamite laid in good let's get uh let's get this blown it's going to release a whole lot load more water do we care no we don't hooray we we had a couple of beavers contaminated I have no idea how they got contaminated I seriously no clue right uh this can all be ripped out now woohoo which gives us a bunch of wood um oh which the well will these guys Nick it these guys will probably Nick it though it's a shame I would have been handy to have some of those logs down here in this area but it's fine demolish that demolish that that lets all the water out that can go can't it yes it can now down here we are going to be having um essentially a a huge Lake and I did consider extending this from here uh as aqueducts um but then with the change that I've just made that doesn't work so I've now actually got to build out the terrain which is is going to be quite a job right wow the this this is such a huge j i I mean I'm doing this bit this has got to go all the way to the mine we've got to destroy this oh man and I've got to decide what I'm doing about this um we are we're actually going to have to scavenge that aren't we now that's something that I should probably get on to like now cuz that's going to take a while isn't it maybe I think about putting a staircase down here now do I do it from I I'm thinking it's got to go down from there hasn't it really boom and then it's going to be another three and a two yeah funny how these things work out um and then it's going to be that that and then yeah yeah okay cool that that's kind of sort of worked out right when we get to let's see I want to get to there and then come this way so we go two then two again so that they can turn the corner uh and then a one and a one and we're down hooray and there will be much rejoicing when that's done okay flip you around look how fast they get this stuff done it's awesome right there we go we need bit of path there bit of path there and we are down wow we can start doing stuff down here you know what I'm going to get them doing things the first thing we're going to do is we're going to get rid of all the dead trees yes Sky the tree murderer that's what they that's what they're going to call me or or or or they won't I mean those are basically the options um did I get did I get more I got them all I think right so essentially the Giga dam is done just this little bit of dynamite in here and that's done uh there's nothing I've got to do inside so as soon as we've done that dynamiting I could actually get rid of all these platforms but I'm not going to yet because until I've laid in the final section and I find out that I need one more that would be so bad I need I need six tiles don't I from there I believe so let's see what we've got 1 2 3 4 five six I've actually got a spare love it absolutely love it I like having a spare tile uh and then from there I don't there I don't know but it's definitely all got to come up one so so we'll we'll bring it all up one and then we'll deal with it from there okay and that can be done for it see it's good you I didn't rip these out isn't it because all of that could be done by the guys from above woohoo okay that works all right cool now there is a key piece of um this puzzle which I think I'm going to do now am I going to do it now I think I am I think yeah I go on I think I am so let's see this is going to come down uh that's a good point it's going to come down two and this is going to be a kind of basin which connects this channel this Channel and the center channel so water is going to be coming down this channel water's going to be coming down this Channel and then it's going to meet in the center and go down that channel so we want to bring this down to now um ah I've got to decide on my magic tiles which I think is just going to be going across there that's that's my guess so let let's work on that basis um so that's going to come out to there yeah to there and then this wall will extend I think pretty sure not 100% sure pretty sure though uh let's bring these out like this cool uh and then yeah assume that that's going to be kind of the wall going across there so the W's going to come through so so there will be Dynamite like there that there's going to be a wall there and then this will carry on across here right right right across right across the whole thing so there and it'll be across here all the way to the oh and then we're going to have the the magic tiles going across here again so right that actually gets us most of what we want I'd actually want to fill in in a couple of tiles across here wouldn't I yep well do it do it while you while you think about it so those like that and then we're going to have a rear wall which comes across here like that Let's do let's bring that out and that and then that will extend across here eventually now we're going to have some um some dams here I think yeah we're going to have a bit of damage see what I did there bit of never mind I'm going to do it with levies because if I screw this up then I can I can get rid of them easily let's rip that out we'll have levies just going across like that and the same on this side and then we want dams don't I yes where's dams there's dams dams are going to go oh can't get them in because of that never mind fine okay right we're we're kind of sort of heading in the right direction I am going to let them um finish that stuff off and then I think guys it'll be back for some boom boom okay just before we do the boom boom I want to come over here I want to well we're going to do that boom boom cuz that's that done what I want to do is I want to get up and get this going I think that's important so we'll EX end that path out from there and we want to get up here and we want to be able to farm this so we want stairs there but we want to be able to access that as well so maybe maybe we do maybe we do some of this stuff first and then we have the stairs going up to do that I could put in a platform there couldn't I so they can get around but we want to be able to get to oh man this is going to be fun and know when I say that I'm saying that ironically cuz I don't think it is uh okay that does that yeah so we can we can get up there at least fine and there we go and bit of a path bit of a path on here all right the path going up there okay we can get there now but we we need a whole bunch of scavengers to get rid of this and this is a lot of scrap metal we're going to need a whole load of storage as well well this is not a small thing you know scavenger flag fliping around one two three four going in okay what about round this side I think we need the same thing around here scavenger Flags going in one two flip you around four five six okay what are we going to do with the metal so they're going to grab the metal I think that maybe like down oh you know what it's going to be a while before we get to there maybe we just throw in like a large pile down here yeah I think that's probably a good idea storage large now this is where I've got to be really really careful because we're now going to be getting uh bad water coming into here and our beavers are going to be coming across here and going down here so we need to figure out what we're going to do with bad water between um between now and when I actually sort all this out that is a really good point right I'm going to do it right now I'll be able to see all the things that I've done wrong this is going to be quite a quite a bit of boom boom right and this and this one oh there's there's a few Bots running around oh and that's at a different level isn't it yeah and so that and that the wet season started we're getting a bit of water coming through that's fine uh ah now oh no that's fine I blow those uh demolish the bridges that's fine detonate those detonate this one and then we can actually get to see kind of sort of what this is going to look like um let's use my hot key which I keep forgetting boom boom boom that's all that's all looking good and then the last bit over here and there we go oh how the hell did I miss that how did I miss that bit no idea no idea not going to worry about it too much what do I want uh I want a bit of dynamite for for that one and we're going to Dynamite that as well which I completely forgot about okay uh we're on cycle 60 day seven uh yeah day seven uh we're just about to start a drought which would be nice uh I've I've made an executive decision because I've realized that the smart way to do this would be to build out just at the lowest level right because if I build out at the lowest level then it's going to be easier to just start adding stuff to that um I mean here actually I might do uh like that so this layer I might do that and then this I might do yeah I might do that at this level in fact I could even maybe do ah because I can build that from here ah yeah yeah yeah okay now I'm getting it I think I've actually got oh they've done it oh brilliant I put in uh put in the levies behind this so they don't actually rip this out that's handy so boom you're gone thank you and then I'll decide how or even if that's going back in we'll see what am I doing oh yeah I remember I'm putting some Terrain in uh and of course like as soon as you start to do it there's stuff in the way like none of this is going like smoothly H let's rip that let's rip all of this out yeah rip all of this out and do well actually if I can get them down here they can go up and they can lay the dynamite using those stairs that's a good point that's a very good point so let let's do this section cuz like once I've done this then I can reproduce it across the rest so this would come out like this and then this we would bring up like that cool so yeah if we have yeah CU they can build this like three at a time and they can build that so they can build it like four pieces at a time so we we need a path coming down there path coming down there we need uh a path coming down well I just put some stairs down there and bring a path straight down the middle that gets all of that done this is just going to be at that level like that so that's fine uh we can build all of that from this level cuz they can they can build up two so that's fine uh and then I do the same here as I've done here all right cool right there's a there's a fair amount to do here I'll bring that out a bit and that as well yeah yeah there's going to I'm going to need some dirt piles that's for darn Shore and bring it all out to the same place that's a good idea all right cool and then we can lay this in very simply so that comes out the edge I can lay in because that's no problem doing that okay well I I think we have a plan i' I've just got to get rid I've just got to Dynamite that and we're kind of sort of set so this should I should I do that yeah go on let's extend this a little bit so it's going to be like uh oh we do we do all of that yeah we bring it up two and then it's the outside bits that come up is it the outside bits that come up three oh that's right cuz we've got the the center bit which is down a bit that's that yeah yeah yeah so that comes out one yeah that's up one that's up two and then this is this end bit is up three isn't it yeah uh but I'm not doing that bit yet am I I'm just doing it to that level yeah okay man seriously my brain has just had it I'm shock after trying to figure all of this out I it's just mush yeah as if it wasn't the start with yeah all right there's always one that's just got to get that digging isn't there I flip this around we can actually put in the side that side piece when they've done that put in the second and then fill in that P yeah that's how we're going to do it um oh yeah cuz they can build up two from there can't they so I can yeah I don't even have to wait get those done and then do that oh good lord it's it's kind of sort of working I've just got to figure out where I can put dirt piles and we are golden but I tell you what having cracked that I think that that is where we're going to leave it for this episode um I'm looking at those stairs and thinking well those stairs are going to going to have to go oh see as soon as as soon as I I think my brain as soon as I'm going to stop goes no no no no keep building build some more Skye we want to see you build some more uh see now this now this is just going in Easy oh now I've got to stop and go and do like editing and stuff when what I want to do is build this well throw a bit more in all right then I'll throw a little I'll throw a little bit more in so that and that see how easy it goes in now so I can just extend that all the way down here how are we doing up here before we go um we've got all of these guys in oh and here they come and they are starting to remove this it's that's going to take a while though um oh I need to set that to scrap metal don't I yeah there we go right I think I need to put in um yes I need to put in more scrap metal storage oh there's so many things to do I think it's fair to say he said looking at this bit of dynamite CU it was irritating me um I think it's fair to say that we have now broken the back of this so next episode we're going to just whiz this straight out here and hope that we can get this done in a reasonable amount of time I may end up putting in a load more platforms and a load more scavengers i i in fact I'm sure that's what's going to happen and um yeah once we do that we can start building like water wheels and uh mechanical pumps and all the paraphernalia that's going to go on top of this construction if you want to see that well you're going to have to come back for
