Dodgers rookie catcher Hunter Feduccia shares thoughts on first career hit

ready I know this wasn't your major league debut but I have to imagine like the first prer start catching working with Gavin Stone did it feel like today was the major Le deut for you yeah 100% um going out there you know first pitch taking in the whole atmosphere of it you know it's it was a dream come true for sure to navigate just through their line so effectively yeah going into it we had a good uh game plan um Sinker was working well um you know just the back and forth game was Sinker slider and you know mixing him the change up and you know he threw a hell of a game so it was easy cats you know he kind of led the way most of the way so yeah you made it easy for me for sure what's different about Gavin Now versus maybe especially when you talk ad arsal yeah I think the Sinker is a big part of his game now um you know working on his slider I think his slider got a little better so you know adding two pitches you know helps your game you can mix a match a little bit more so yeah I think that's what was working for today to get your first big hit this afternoon that one just emotions how special was that it was awesome yeah now um you know going into it I thought I was facing uh Shan B I think it was um and then got to the field uh was a lefty so you know I was getting I was getting ready for Shane and then heard that news so it was good you know settled in first at that got a walk so that was refreshing right there and you know after that you know settled in and it was good after that it was lot going on big pregame ceremony how much did it help to see Stone out there and kind of normalize things and see if familiar Pati and just get locked in with it yeah it was really good just um yeah I've caught him a lot in triaa able a coming up so you know that was a calming thing for sure and you know working with him's awesome you know he pounds his own and we had a good game plan so it was was smooth going through what was your family's reaction all very emotional my uh Mom I'm sure got her on camera she was trying to keep it together the whole game you know girlfriend I'm sure everyone was emotional but I'm glad they made it and it was an awesome day for sure yeah you what you're going to do with the ball H I'll probably give it to my dad you know so he wants to hang it up but um you know once I get a house probably hanging up on my wall and yeah cherish it forever so than
