reversals by Harris over the the years specifically previous comments in 2019 supporting decriminalizing illegal border crossings and banning fracking Harris explained she changed her position on fracking back in 2020 because it's important to build consensus and solve problems let's be clear my values have not changed what we've already done creating over 300,000 new clean energy jobs that tells me from my experience as Vice President we can do it without Banning fracking the Trump campaign has asked why Harris hasn't done some of the things she wants to do as president while she's been take his case from the state level correspondent Norman Hall has details attorneys for the former president asked a federal court late Thursday to intervene in Donald Trump's New York hush money criminal case seeking a pathway to overturn his felony conviction and indefinitely delay his sentencing schedule for next month Trump lawyers asked the federal court in Manhattan to seize the case from the state court where it was brought and tried they argue that the historic prosecution violated fr's constitutional rights and ran a file of the US Supreme Court's recent ruling on presidential knock nearly four dozen train cars off of a track in North Dakota a spokesperson for the railway BNSF says a train was stopped due to to a tornado warning near the town of Steel North Dakota high winds caused 43 empty coal cars to derail no one was hurt and no hazardous materials were in the car the national weather service confirmed the winds at steel were from the tornado and that they're looking into the wind speeds we actually have a A team out there right now that is investigating that damage to determine potentially what wind speeds might have caused that um we don't yet have that survey completed so not quite sure exactly um yet what their findings are going to be but they're investigating that uh right now a second twister also touched down near Selfridge North Dakota I'm H immigration program 4 thousands from Cuba Haiti Nicaragua and Venezuela allowing them to fly into the US for a 2-year stay as long as they have a financial sponsor allegations of fraud were investigated and the Department of Homeland Security says it's not widespread but the agency will step up its review of financial records that sponsors are required to submit as well as their criminal plot to attack a Taylor Swift concert in Vienna Austria correspondent Donna wer reports a warning from the CIA helped thwart an ISIS attack that was intended to kill thousands of concert goers while addressing this week's annual intelligence and National Security Summit in Maryland CIA deputy director David Cohen said the suspects who were planning to attack Taylor Swift's arys tour in Vienna break down the harsh dangers of space and the influence of drugs used in suspended animation start to affect their psychological and emotional stability the drugs used to induce hibernation can produce side effects including confusion and disorientation I'm a sucker for movies about a handful of people trying to survive in space and a strong but limited cast featuring Casey Affleck and Lawrence Fishburn helps carry the film Houston we have a situation the impact represents no real danger what if the whole system is compromised the paranoia and Trauma of the characters is where the meat of the story is the movie does milk the tension a little too much drawing out the running time but it kept me guessing and for an ambitious psychological Thriller in the vast emptiness of space
