Summer In The South Of France: Visiting Toulouse & Montpellier | Cafés, Nights Out & Luxury Shopping

Intro [Applause] [Music] hey guys welcome back to the Vlog we are in tulo France so basically this next two Vlogs because I think I'm going to divide it we're going to be traveling through the south of France so we're going to stay in tles for 2 days and then we're going to drive to Monier because we did come by cars so this is basically like a road trip and then for the next Vlog we're going to do nce and probably Monaco we came with my sister-in-law Jalene she's basically doing a bit of a tour to see where she wants to study because she's going to start next year so she already saw a few universities in Barcelona and now she's going to see a few here and also in the other cities so she can get an idea a little bit about the College of course but also like life in the city and everything so she can make a decision and we're also here because one of our best friends it's his birthday so we're basically going to go today probably for a beer and tomorrow it's the birthday party no idea what we're going to do but I'm really excited to be back in tus we used to live here for a bit in 2017 and I have so many fun memories of tulus I just love the food the people the city and like everything so I'm really happy that we're finally back here we're currently staying at the Grand Hotel the Opera it's basically in the city center so we can walk pretty much everywhere and something else that I wanted to share is that what not I don't know if Closet Sale Livestream! you guys remember but I used to do whatnot live streams every single month last year whatnot it's finally in France and in Europe so we're going to do live streams again and I'm so excited because I miss them so so much doing the lives was always so much fun and I was always flying to London and doing the lives from London so now I can do the lives from Europe so I'm really excited so basically everyone can shop you can shop from the US you can shop from Asia of course from Europe the live stream is going to be on September 15th at 8:00 p.m. Barcelona time but I'm going to leave more times here on the screen in case you want to bookmark the live stream the live stream is going to be in collaboration with bom luxury store who I actually shop a lot from quite often so I'm going to be doing the live with M and we're going to be doing one in September in October so it's going to be a lot of fun I've actually been thinking about selling a few things for my closet so probably during this September live I'm going to include some things from my own closet to sale because I just want to make a little bit more space there's going to be a giveaway I'm going to put a little clip of the giveaway item so basically the winner is going to get picked at random you just have to be on the live stream when we start the giveaway and that's pretty much it I don't know if you guys remember but I'm going to explain a little bit how to download the app so this is how it looks on App Store but we're going to go to a restaurant to have like a drink and also say hi to everyone so probably we're just going to have like a snack there and then I don't really know the plans for today I do know them for tomorrow but today not really I'm going to give you like a quick room tour and outfit of the day and then we can go out and hopefully can show you a little bit of the city specifically the places where we used to love to hang out when we were living here it's a bit nostalgic so I really do want to go Room Tour & OOTD there so this is the room as I said just a really really love the wallpaper it's so beautiful I think the more time passes I'm realizing that if I ever have a house I'm definitely going to put some wallpaper on it and just the details I find it to be so so cute we do have an interior patio view it's not nothing too crazy but the location of the hotel is amazing so it's basically the bed then we have this little like desk area that I'm definitely going to be using because I still need to edit some videos and thankfully there's really good AC because it's really really hot today here is the entrance to the room and here we have the bathroom which is honestly really good here we have the bathroom basically quite installed already and we do have a bathtub which I'm really excited about and the bathroom light is actually quite good so it's good for getting ready I did bring my niece BB and well pretty much old and we're the type of people that really like to unpack basically right away okay so for outfit of the day I opted for something really comfortable for the road but I think I'm just going to stay with this because I kind of really like it Jewelry Wise I'm wearing my vanle and ares alhamra vintage in the Gage and as for earrings I'm wearing the ginger Berry sea salt which is basically pearls and aquamarines and as for the outfit this vest is from masim MTI I got it like a week ago and for the shorts These Are linen from O show and as for the back of the day of course it's still summer so I had to bring her so this is the outfit for today and I don't really think that I'm going to change maybe for dinner depends where we're going for dinner because if it's something more formal I definitely would and as for the Discovering Toulouse shoes I'm wearing my Chanel ballerinas the classic [Music] ones [Music] 21° Sunny just the way I always wanted [Music] tolder the blue birds peaceful sing along [Music] that I love you oh [Music] Chucky EI for tow shines from anywhere in the wall when I'm not with you all the shiny SE don't me to [Music] okay so most of the day we've been basically having drinks and chatting with friends at the end of the day that's basically why we came to tulus and it's been honestly weather perfect and the town I don't know I really really like it here and I think Geraldine is liking it too so basically the plan right now is we're going to go for dinner I don't know the place honestly I've never been there but I'm really excited and definitely starving okay so how are you liking to lose so far it's really really pretty and right now I've been seeing like we're like in the golden hour and everything like that so it's really pretty and people up to this point have been really [Music] nice a little different than all the rest a quite a fashioned wear a hat sometimes play chest and when I'm out I'm looking for that vintage Flame but all complexions that I adore so hard to find the seem impossible toore so I dream on to find that vage love I kept on looking but everyone such a boy and out of [Music] okay so we're back at the hotel and I just took a bath I'm so so tired but the dinner was so so good I didn't really Let's do my hair wash my hair because I did just yesterday so I was thinking to do some hitless curls so basically I ordered this from Amazon and it has worked for me quite well and it saves me a lot of time tomorrow in the morning so I'm going to take my makeup off and do this so tomorrow in the morning I just wake up pretty much ready so I already washed my face but I'm going to do a double cleanse because I was pretty much out of day and I was putting a lot of sunscreen I really really loved coming back to Tulu we haven't really been back since at least 2019 I think I don't know this is one of those places where I would always consider moving to it's definitely less hectic than Barcelona for sure so I don't know it's just like a different lifestyle and po loves it too he's been non-stop just saying like oh maybe we should move here maybe we should consider it but I don't know I don't think that I would ever live Barcelona to be honest I just really really love living there but we absolutely visit more often I think it's part of the fact that we lived here for a while definitely younger when we were still more willing to party a little bit more and we see all the places where we used to sit down in the park or our favorite food spots having our friends here so I don't know it's kind of a little bit nostalgic in that sense but yeah we still have tomorrow pretty much all day so hopefully I'm going to get to show you a little bit more because honestly today we basically focused on just hanging out with our friends and catching up we haven't really seen them since the wedding so that was definitely the plan for today and tomorrow we're going to focus a little bit more on visiting University campuses also showing Geraldine a little bit more like the areas where she could live and things that she could do so hopefully she can picture herself and just make a decision with everything taken into account like the University of course but also the city how the life is there the areas where she would basically be around and all of that so that's basically the plan now let's do this I almost always kind of like screwed up but just turns out well so I basically parted in the middle and I brush my hair quite well I think that doing this on camera definitely definitely going to mess it [Music] up so let's see how I wake up tomorrow in the morning I'm going to finish my skincare routine and go to bed so see you in the morning [Music] good morning we're already ready to go for breakfast it's day two in tulus we're just waiting for jene to be ready Day 2: Breakfast & Visiting Universities and we're going to go have probably a cant and a coffee would really love a coffee right now but I'm having a little bit of a crisis with my outfit because I wanted to go for an all blue kind of look like blue and white I'm wearing my de ballerinas but I think the blue doesn't really match with the the blouse and the bag so I don't know if it looks good or not because I kind of like it but at the same time it's kind of bothering me that it's just not the same shade of blue so I don't know if I should change for a white bag or this one is fine I think it's going to be fine the other one is that the hitless curls work too well and it doesn't look like it's going down maybe throughout the day it probably will go down but right now like it is curled and I'm really shocked because I have tried everything on this Earth to try to curl my hair because it is so flat it always goes down in seconds and every time that I do this it works so well so I just hope that it goes down a little bit more today besides breakfast we're probably just going to walk around and show Geral in the city and probably tonight we're going to have dinner because it's our friend's birthday so yeah let's go [Music] so we're having breakfast I had an apple cinnamon muffin but I had a chocolate muffin and yine had a chocolate cake with raspberry the coffee is really good right now I'm probably going to have another coffee and then we're going to walk around and go see universities maybe some window shopping and then just probably check out where we're going to have lunch because we want French food [Music] nah [Music] Lunch & Louis Vuitton Shopping n [Music] [Music] n so we went to the university and so far I think we all see Geraldine living here at some point we have been considering moving here ourselves because it's just so so beautiful the food is amazing I really like overall like everything around here we went for lunch and everything was really really good but I feel like we're a little bit tired so I would like to go take a little nap to the hotel and work a little bit because I don't have the video for tomorrow fully ready and I need to finish that we're having artisanal Coke because they don't have Coke here and it's actually really really good and [Music] refreshing so we took a little break to be at the hotel for a little little bit because we've been basically walking all Makeup Haul day long I'm usually really really good on Living all my videos edited and ready to go live when I'm traveling but I really didn't have the time before we came so I'm having a little bit of a meltdown right now because the internet is not so good but we're going to manage also I can edit on the road tomorrow hopefully it's going to be like 4 hours from tulus to monela so I do have time if I don't get car sick because I usually get a little bit car sick we did stop at Sephora it was mainly because Char wanted to go but every time that I step inside inside a Sephora I always get something so I did get a few things I got this highlighter from Di and it's the pearlescent glow I'm going to try not to Blind you it's basically just like a highlighter because I didn't have one you know after I lost my makeup so I got that one and I was running out of my eyebrow pencil so I got the Fenty Beauty I always use the dark ash blonde and this one I've been using it for quite a while and of course I ended up getting two lip products because kind of always do my lips have being super super dry in the past month I don't know why but I got the lanes vanilla one this is really good I'm actually wearing it right now and I know that a lot of people say that Lanes is not that good but honestly this is the only thing that works for me when my lips are cracking and are so so dry so I would highly highly recommend this ones and they are not the jars so it's easier to have it in your bag and this one I really love the packaging and it's from Gan it's from the kiss kiss collection be glow in the color Blossom glow it's a really tricky name I really like the color it's like this very new Neal type of Rosy color and it's also quite moisturizing because of course if my lips are basically so dry if I put something with color then also quite natural and the packaging is really cute So the plan right now because it's almost 5:00 is that we're going to go out again probably to find like a really nice cafe and sit down maybe have a drink watch people and just enjoy being out maybe browsing some stores and then later on we're going to go have dinner with friends and then probably go for a beer or to a bar or something thinking that I should change to something a little bit more like nighttime outfit because I feel like my outfit is quite summery not really for a bar so maybe an old black outfit something like that and tomorrow I think we're going to drive to melier probably after lunch because the checking at the hotel is almost at like 4: or 5 we don't really need to rush tomorrow morning which I'm really happy about so I'm going to finish editing a little bit and then probably change so we can go out [Music] Drinks & Chilling at the river okay so we found this really really cute Cafe and I'm having a Lon cello sprit and jel is having basically a glorified tea of some sort we're basically making time before dinner and P have a he's behind camera I don't know if we have anything that we have missed to see in L or that you want to see but I think we basically covered everything I'm going to try Luc [Music] lionello I think it's missing a bit of lionello [Music] my [Music] so it's not really time for dinner yet and we're kind of killing time so we decided to go get a coffee this is like the area where we used to basically hang out with friends like a really long time so we're just having coffee basically next to the river I don't think we're going to be able to get to see the sunset but the view is so so beautiful and basically we're showing Geraldine all the good spots to hang out the weather today has been absolutely amazing I've not been hot but while I was eating and I had the sun literally on my face that Wass a little bit hard but overall amazing I really loved coming and I think we should be coming a little bit more if Geraldine moves here I think we're going to be visiting often and with Masha [Music] Birthday Dinner & Night Out m [Music] take me to the ruins aquafers and springs baby Ferns and curling every living Driving to Montpellier thing be to [Music] me hey guys it's the next day and we went to bed actually quite late so it was a very slow morning we just had brunch and now we're on the road to go to mon I'm not sure what's going on with my voice but we're 1 hour and a half away from Monier and the driver is actually not SP at all from tulo to it's basically 2 hours and a half drive so nothing too bad we just stopped for coffee to go to the bathroom and maybe some snacks it's already 3:00 p.m. so we definitely took our time because we can only check in until 4:00 but yeah I loved going back to tulo so so much I just think that it's such a beautiful city and I've never been to M actually none of us have ever been to M so this going to be the first for everyone I have my coffee here because I'm falling asleep on the road so we're staying two nights in m and then we're going to go to Nissa but that's going to be another Vlog because if not this is going to be super super long and I'm really excited to arrive we're going to stay at on rbnb this time it was just the easiest for the three of us and the place was really really nice I'm just waiting for them to come back from the bathroom so I can take my turn but yeah I'm a little bit worried about my voice I woke up and it was just worse than this but actually after the wedding because I was like screaming and dancing and singing so much I lost my voice for like 3 4 days and I just really hope it's not the case right now because yesterday honestly after the birthday dinner we just went to a bar for like 1 hour it was not that long because everyone was super super tired and all I had was Coca-Cola so didn't even drink so there is no reason why I should be losing my voice so hopefully with the day it improves a little bit and if not I'll just have Polo and Geraldine take over but I don't think that's going to happen as for the back of the day I'm using again the working 25 in I did put the toies on it because is we like basically all day out and it's summer and it's hot I just want to protect the handles a little bit more and the lipstick that I got yesterday the one from gin I just have to say that I'm so in love with it it does have color but it is moisturizing so I just want to recommend it a lot and the color is so pretty it's the blossom glow 129 it's honestly one of the few that don't make it worse whenever my lips are super dry it's super moisturizing and the color is just really really pretty like it's [Music] oh [Music] Airbnb Tour & Plans for the Day well we just got to the Airbnb and it's so so beautiful and it's so well located there's something about high ceilings all white that I just really really love so much and uh it has like a tiny living room thank goodness we do have AC and this is basically the view from the window the location is perfect for walking everywhere and this is the rest of the apartment this is dr's bedroom um I think there's another bed up there I think so so three people can fit inside and you also have a really nice view and this is the living room and kitchen that is also really really nice we do have a TV that I don't think that we're going to be using but I do appreciate that we have a table and coffee machine for the mornings and I just kind of wish that we had like chairs in the balcony to just go outside a little [Music] bit okay we finally got to Monier we definitely took a little bit longer than expected because there was a fire so the traffic was so so bad that we actually ended up doing 4 hours instead of 2 and A2 and right now it's already 6:30 so we don't have that much time to do a lot so basically I think the plan for today is going to be to walk around the areas close to the Airbnb and find something for dinner and we have been craving Thai food I'm honestly happy with whatever we find I'm not really feeling like unpacking right now so probably later today I'll get to it the Airbnb is simply stunning it's just my vibe I really really love it I think we picked amazing so far going around in the car through the city I'm really loving the architecture and it has a bit of a coastal Vibe so cannot wait to go out and actually get to see the city probably tomorrow is going to be more of a day to go see the universities and the areas where usually students actually leave and just like the touristic spots and get to know the city so right now I think we're just going to refresh ourselves a little bit and go out I went for a very comfortable outfit today since we're going to be on the road so I'm wearing a linen shirt from ruri and these are the butter yellow shorts from PE the brand of course to kind of match with the bag so closed we did find a Vietnamese and Thai restaurant something like that so we're going to have dinner and I don't know if we're going to walk around or just go to the Airbnb but I'm sure that tomorrow day two in moner I'm currently doing my makeup and waiting for polo and Geraldine to wake up I think we're overall a little bit tired and needing a little bit more extra sleeping time but I'm getting ready for the day because I definitely want to go out for a coffee because yesterday was Sunday we didn't really get to see much of the city open at all it was so hard to find where to have dinner actually we went to not one but two different places thinking that they were open because Google said that they were open and we would walk all the way there to find them to be closed so we ended up eating Ramen on first place that we found open and honestly it was really really good I'm really really liking the vibe of the city it's so so beautiful and today looks like it's going to be definitely hotter than the rest of the day so I don't know what to wear because I did bring a few dresses but they're long sleeve dresses and the ones that I brought that are short sleeve I want to save them for knes because in knes it's going to be even hotter so I'm trying to pick my bottles I definitely want to pick something comfortable to walk around I also tried to do the heatless curls again last night but this time a little bit less tight because now that I looked on the clip of toose day two my hair looked a little bit crazy in the morning so I think today I got a little bit of better results but they're going to go down faster so I mean I don't know I don't know if I prefer to have them super tight in the morning and them to last basically all day and probably by the middle of the day it's going to be perfect let's see how this ones hold up so yeah I'm just trying to get myself ready and then try to wake them up and hurry them so we can go for something and see you out Breakfast, Sightseeing & Bubble Tea [Music] okay so we just had breakfast I had really really good bacon pancakes and Geraldine had X benedict for some reason po only wanted to have coffee and basically ate half of our breakfast but I wanted to show you the outfit of the day I ended up wearing one of the dresses and it's really old one that I had in my closet for a while so the dress is quite old wearing Chanel balerinas because these are the most comfortable ones and here there's a lot of here and my white mini Kelly and I have these polar Flor and like linen pants some ballerinas and this is just like a bandana that I stole from my mom's closet [Music] [Applause] oh so we're just walking around melier we had a very good breakfast we walk around we went to the cathedral that is very nice and right now we're just going to walk a little bit more and we're going to go and have lunch the think here in France is that restaurants open really early and also they close really early and we're used to having lunch a little bit later on the day a [Music] Nice & St Tropez Chat + Dinner hey guys so we're back at Dr rbnb and we're leaving everything quite organized because there has been a change of plans so instead of leaving tomorrow at 12:00 we're going to leave at 6:00 a.m. and that's because we want to basically spend the morning like breakfast then the rest of the Morning by the pool and have lunch in a hotel that is just super super beautiful it's in Sant Trope so instead of driving directly to nce we're just going to spend the morning at s Trope that it does fix a little bit of problem because we're a little bit worried about what to do with the luggage and our time before check in so the checking in KN it's at 4: so we really don't have anything to do so we kind of fixed that so we're going to spend the morning at the pool it's super super beautiful it's such such a beautiful hotel so it's basically going to be S then we're going to drive to Nisa we're going to spend three nights in Ni and we still don't know if we want to go to Monaco or to sope again I guess we'll decide that on the next Vlog because I think this one is already quite long so we still want to enjoy the rest of the day in Monier but I also have to get a little bit of work done I'm leaving everything packed and basically the outfit for tomorrow and everything already set up it's a 4-Hour drive but at 6:00 a.m. I'm already a little bit tired of the trip kind of so yeah we kind of want to leave everything ready so the next Vlog is going to start with us going to the tan and the PE de looks amazing there so I'm definitely definitely excited about tomorrow I really thought of making it just one Vlog but I cannot imagine editing that many Clips it's going to be really long so yeah from tomorrow it's going to be the other Vlog but so far honestly I've had such an amazing time to lose was amazing if Geraldine ends up studying there I'm quite sure that we're going to going to end up visiting quite often probably or she's going to end up visiting us but for now I think she's between Barcelona and too not going to lie I would kind of really love if she would stay in Barcelona because we love each other so much but I think tus is such an amazing City for students so I do see what she would want to go to tusu so we're going to know her final decision after we go toise and probably around January because right now it's just too soon to know but we wanted her to see all the cities and the food and the people because yeah the university and the campus is very important but I also feel like getting to see the city and picturing yourself living in it is really really important so yeah right now I'm just going to work a little bit end up packing and we're going to go out again probably look something for dinner walk around have a really nice time and yeah a [Music] okay so I think I'm going to leave the Vlog here I'm so tired and hopefully I can get to sleep quite early today we have to wake up at 6:00 and 4 hours on the road so I'm definitely excited for the next part of the trip I'm definitely looking forward to seeing the ocean swimming a little
