do know first time in 20 years the Elks swe the Labor Day series what's it like to win back to backs against Calgary uh first I just want to thank my Lord Jesus Christ for this opportunity today um I think it's awesome I think it's awesome for this organization I think it's awesome for these fans I think it's awesome for us um I think it's a beautiful thing it's a big Ry obviously you know what I mean this is bragging rights and uh it's huge so so this is something that we want to accomplish and we believed it so we know that we could do it you seem to be getting more and more and you've got a touchdown in the last three games um tell us a little bit about that chemistry out there and and how that's opening up for you and just getting opportunities like for me I'm the type person man you got to take advantage of your opportunities when they come because at receiver you don't know how many balls you going to get a game so you better take advantage of the big plays and that's what I kind of you know for myself I I have myself at a high standard when it comes to big plays and making big plays like I try to translate it from practice to the games and that's that's really what I do being one of the vets in the receiving Corp um how do you teach that to the other guys that are also play with you um you just you just got to keep you know first you got to get them to trust you you got to get people to trust you first and you have to be able to show that you can do it so they can believe it so you know for me I'm more of a leader by showing it like I show what I do so you can see like I'm not going to talk you to death so I'm going to I'm going to show you in real life what what's going on and that's just kind the type of person that I am I like seeing it and it's and for me that's just the best thing I could do for them and Gino yeah on Monday you guys scored 35 points you scored 35 points again what when you see his team averaging over 30 points in his past last few games here against calary it was 37 37 yeah oh yes 37 yes more we going we going to take them to take them to but uh it's awesome man like like I said before like our goal on offense is to score as many points as we possibly can to help our defense and put them in the best position to be successful so you know for us we need to go out on every drive and believe that we going to score that's how I go out each and every Drive I I believe in everybody I believe in the guys next to me they believe in us and I always got they back so it's just for us man we just got to keep taking it one game at a time and just keep winning and putting ourselves in the best position you guys look like you're playing more complimentary football talk about your defense a little bit putting you guys in good position yeah defense is defense is going crazy right now um um Brian he's going crazy with all them picks that he got he going crazy so uh I love to see it though see that's the thing is though like ultimately what we want to do as a team you want to you want to be on on point on all faces of the game and that's special teams offense and defense and really we've been doing that the last couple games and we have to keep continue to do that because consistency is the hardest thing to do and that's what we have to keep up now you you saying this a bit of a rivalry was it getting heated out there oh yeah yeah yeah yeah it was a couple plays that happened that you know kind of brush people the wrong way for sure I today more so showed me like the hate of the Rivalry a little bit like today was like oh okay I see what's going on this being my second year and stuff like that so and and um I and personally like I love playing KY because I usually have good games like no matter my career but uh yeah man I'm just glad to go out there man that I help my team the best way that I can and and keep winning man fantastic and oh last one yeah huge crowd tonight yes it uh tell us how that feels for you out on the field hearing that kind of noise in in the stadium oh it was it was awesome I always knew like we were capable of doing it but today like you can see like the whole bottom part of the bowl was literally packed the whole thing like so that was amazing to see the crowd noise actually one time I went like to the side I started raising the roof and everybody start going crazy and I just got the crowd going and I'm like all right defense was up and they and we ended up getting a stop so hey man we appreciate like we said that's what we need each and every week but we also got to give them something to look forward to to do each and every week fantastic y thanks thanks y man appreciate y y have a good night
