these could be the best budget golf clubs I've ever tested today we're putting the whole range to the test over a tricky n holes here at Waterfront Golf Club what can we score using the full range of McGregor Vmax golf clubs let's take it away hi everyone my name is James Robinson and welcome back to this YouTube channel guys today we're going to talk about money and we're going to talk about just how much you could save if you bought the full set of McGregor V-Max clubs I've tested the drive of the hybrid the driving iron and of course the irons and numbers wise actually performed pretty well especially when you consider this driver brand new costs less than three packs of Prov ones that is quite ridiculous but what can we put on the score card let's see first hole straight down there and that is a pretty good opener we'll have a bit of that right a pretty good opener guys do me a favor get in the comments below let me know could you see yourself buying some Budget Golf Clubs brand new and have you seen the videos of me testing these clubs because I absolutely love them so you see the really interesting thing for me about these golf clubs and any golf clubs at this price point is I honestly feel like it's transforming the game of golf you may have seen the titles that I did for the driver review for the driving iron review which I think is a fantastic Golf Club the driving iron $69.99 brand new that's Insanity that is a ridiculous price point and this full set of golf clubs will set you off less than one of the modern day drivers I think that's ridiculous can we break par today at Waterfront golf club just using these um well we'll find out we didn't have a putter so I've put just a random putter in there for the day I'll tell you what this one's Mr Cooper he's using a brand new 500b driver I've put 20 on him with the McGregor sure that's just not my B how much would you think for these cuz you thought they were brightons I did yeah I did from a far I think some of them look really I mean some of them don't look that good but I think for a set scary driving iron that's gorgeous though this oh right yeah it's a hybrid that one yeah but it's like in between is it yeah I don't mind it though right let's see if we can just get a bit of a hot start going this is an incredibly difficult 9-hole Golf Course very tight off the te and we have 99 yard in to this first hole going to go little pitching wedge the irons do have McGregor steel shafts in them nice black heads lovely red bottom [Music] Groove sit that's come out really low sit oh dear oh dear that could be a difficult one maybe versatility isn't the one with these budget irons but we'll Endeavor to carry on should haveand hand W really that wasn't how I saw that going after hitting an amazing drive this is what we are left with um rather difficult we're going to Sand Wedge this time there are wedges here actually but I've um not going lie I can't find them very very unprofessional of me I know but I do feel like a lot of golfers will get away with just having the set Sand Wedge cuz it's pretty forgiving looking go go go oh he's not even looking I feel like when you were a kid you're like Dad you're not even watching thought that was in would have been a spectacular way to make Birdie on the first so putter have actually gone for a pretty traditional looking golf Punk who remembers that really really enjoyable and of course a budget golf ball in the seed that's a part right pretty good par to open up par five second hole bunker up the right hand side shouldn't really be able to reach that with this driver however Brett's almost reached it with his very expensive driver so I might be able to carry it let's see how we can go what is the wind doing the one thing with these more budget clubs the wind is more of a factor it's harder to control the ball flight can we just keep this down a touch that is outrageous isn't it not even just for the price just for anything that is outrageous $169.99 that don't tell me golf has to be expensive so what a drive that turned out to be bang level with that bunker that to be honest I didn't think I could reach and all of a sudden I'm getting more and more impressed with this McGregor range you see I really enjoy reviewing golf products I enjoy bringing you guys things that potentially could save you money but you can't be getting out in the golf of course and playing with them trying to score with them trying to grind with them and just seeing what potential score you can get round in saying this I'm enjoy myself I ped the first let's just let's calm it down a little bit we should maybe be able to get on this par five in two though let's see how far we have it's either going to be a 3-wood or a hybrid or maybe even that which sold out within like hours of my video you can really see why cuz for the price that is gorgeous 21 playing 200 15 I'm going to go with that driving iron actually where's my glove middle of the green two puts for a birdie and you under PA oh don't overcut that might have been the bunker I struck it while though little bit too much movement on that one felt phenomenal though right we actually ended up right of the bunker so we're going to have a very very difficult shot to come here I'll put the wedges on screen now they do look gorgeous I just couldn't find them story of my life that just unorganized chaos I think we're going to have to try and go a up and down for birdie oh no go oh that might have done all right you know not the best but by no no means the worst one under right that certainly went to plan let's continue with this driving iron and let's send this down the narrowest golf hole um in the world little knock down keep it low the wind is off the left Hazard down the right hand side that's unbelievable is it all for cheaper than Brett's putter okay Fairway hit with the driving iron let's see how far we have in 110 playing 14 when we know Sand Wedge pitching wedge was a bit of a beast on the first wasn't it that's short is it go oh that's a long way short struggled In The Wind that one wouldn't like to think I was in a full pitching wedge 114 though tidy up oh that didn't check sit that came out fiery oh dear come on don't follow up a birdie with a bogey not after that t-shot Oh I thought that were missing I thought that was missing we love that right this is the hardest par three in the world how far is it playing let's get yellow submarine out back from off being off loan 219 I think it's driving in again and getting out of here with a p would be delightful be the number oh it's gone a bit right but I'll take that up and down well that was some walk up there everybody's out of breath and I have got this to try and get up and down again Sand Wedge oh no that's so annoying cuz I actually came out there as well that is annoying come on Save PA bogey oh dear right there can't be duffing a chip can you if you keep riding you look and missing greens it's always going to happen it's inevitable this par five is downwind around the corner to the right oh no not the it's a freshy as well that annoying see that put some men off that was for the Kirkland that and Brett's not getting past that with two drives right we've hit it that far we've actually kind of run out of Fairway you can see how far we've knocked it past Mr Cooper over there with his tailor stealth par five we have 237 it might just be that again you know nice four high really and let's get on that green I've duffed that but that might work oh yeah go on I I'll take front edge from that strike right that would be lovely just throw a birdie in here little two put from The Fringe back back to under par and then lovely par three coming up a scorable hole after then quite a difficult finish actually so we could probably do with being uh the right side of par at least for those closing holes I'm just going to bump a little N9 iron down actually and just see how fiery it comes off I do feel like a lot of people would chip with these clubs little bump and runs hold your line oh thought I had that halfway you know I thought I had it halfway little bit longer left than what we initially wanted that's a waste right we have to make up for that now cuz that was an opportunity missed after a good drive and a good second shot 154 nine ion I think wind off right be the club get up tell you what that just felt so easy right out the the screws as well the little scentered one would you like a go me it matches you mid handicap go soon to be high handicap they've kicked they've kicked him out at rabbits oh I tell you what though I'll tell you what though oh SP I was going to say nearest to pin for a pine but I'm glad I didn't now T WS to roll it in for birdie it's looking good it's him that's a great but it's a fist bump as well you've given yourself chances I think the real winner here so far is the clubs never going to turn that much you're giving yourself a chances just not rolling them in but I must say guys so far so good with these McGregor vmch clubs could you see yourself using them seriously I don't know but I think for a beginner we're certainly proving you can come out here you can shoot a score you can have fun which is ultimately the aim of the game three holes left and they're rather testing turning back into the wind we driver again be interesting to see how much the winds H that cuz I've absolutely nailed that just into the wind okay Round the Corner in the semi roof so the wind has hit that quite hard there and that's the only thing when you do think about maybe more Budget Golf Clubs into the wind to do sometimes struggle we're now behind Brett for the first time today so I have been kind of thinking of that as a bit of a marker a midh handicap golfer with a more expensive more premium driver can you keep up with them there are thereabouts especially well not so much into the wind come on all of a sudden this scoreable hole we should have about a pitching wedge in here the next two are going to be downwind so not as hard as I thought 136 just a nice wedge be the club be the number we'll take that not bad at all out the roof right not bad stoppage there with the pitching wge and we have this for another birdie plenty of Birdie chances just need to turn them into birdies on the scorecard oh I must say though whever we're just missing out on birdies we are of course making pars which I'm quite pleased with level part for the day so far this one's a tough one though downwind so nice drive maybe a mid to long a and in and then a similar scenario on the last sit oh I think it's got through that still 20 pass Brett not a time you want to start it in bad drives somehow I think we've gone away with that not entirely sure how Brett is in there right I'm Reckoning that that is a path and extension of that path so that's a drop away from the path there on my milesy we have 208 I don't think i' have that in five iron downwind I'll tell you what just release up nicely then sorry Brett that might go in we even got a round of applause from Chris there wow see where it's finished see where it's finished I'll tell you what the closer we get the closer that gets that could be a very very nice one to try and get under par with one hole left and this was the one hole where I honestly thought would struggle long usually very tight I mean proved quite tight off the tea but we' hit a nice five9 from 208 all for less than one of the new modern day drivers golf can be cheap and it can be fun all right mate sometimes you just have to take the look when it comes and we'll take that for a bird I tell you what I very nearly missed that it all comes down to this the ninth hole here water and go from into the wind a little bit and around the corner keep it in play and a par for underp that is awful but I've got away with it that's going to be so short what's it's done all right a it there's a bird just flown into that well I must say that is the first real nervy drive that I've had and it's the first one where I really missed the center of the face it's performed really well when I did review this drive I really enjoyed how it performed I never hit one that bad that performed that well especially under the pressure of basically the whole challenge comes down to this hole doesn't it probably got 30 or 40 yards further in that I would have liked we're in play and we're going to have a chance at it and this is the biggest Gap we've had so far of the day because I'm here with a bad Drive Chris hit a good drive with his pxg driver and he's down there probably six 60 yard 70 yards further down although if I put a bad swing on that driver might have been very similar come on one more good one 203 that same Club same shot anywhere on the green I'll hit it when just a bit just a bit oh that is to the right of course it's a Mist green to finish with because why wouldn't it be interesting that's landed So Soft there on it I thought I played that delightfully right all comes down to this from the park with the McGregor budget range come on out side right good Pace give it a go P but guys I must say the fact that I am disappointed with level par with these golf clubs really does speak volumes about just how to be honest good of value they are guys if you enjoyed that
