Gogglebox's Stephen Webb shares heartbreaking reason he split from husband Daniel Lustig

former goggle box star Steven Webb has opened up about the breakdown of his marriage to ex Daniel lustig confessing that he just stopped working at it the pair who became household names on the hit show left fans stunned earlier this year when they announced they had split after six years of marriage at the time 53-year-old Steven cited growing apart from Daniel 43 as the reason for their separation shortly after sharing news of their breakup Steven announced he had joined the cast of lebs go dating despite ending their romantic relationship Steven and Daniel continue to share a home opening up about why their marriage broke down Steven disclosed that the couple both Switched Off towards the end of their relationship he told the son we both kind of Switched Off and stopped working at it the longer you leave it the more it deteriorates to a point where there's no going back I'm a firm believer in that life is about change and now I'm just looking forward to the next chapter of my life he also expressed gratitude for the amazing time shared with Daniel over their 11-year relationship Steven made his first appearance on gogglebox in 2013 meanwhile Daniel joined him on the show in 2019 one year after they tied the knot the former couple decided to step down from goggle box in 2023 months before announcing their split Daniel and Steven are also business partners co-managing two successful hair salons in in West Sussex despite their past romantic involvement they have maintained a strong friendship Daniel confirmed they were still on amicable terms telling the son we do still get on really well we have two salons and work three days a week together and still come home and cook dinner and watch Telly with each other apart from when one of us goes out Steven will return to screens for the upcoming series of celebs go dating joining Married at First Sight UK star Ella Morgan and love Island Chris Taylor regarding Steven's latest Venture into reality dating Daniel has expressed nothing but encouragement he told the publication of course I want him to find love again the new project comes following a tough few months for Steven who has lost both of his parents a lot has happened over the last 6 months he revealed I left gogglebox left my husband lost both parents broke my ankle doing dancing on ice it's a lot to deal with and IM making these big decisions
